    Mike great job with the seat and the tail light. I like a front fender personally, but that bike has a really great look, a little mysterious looking, AMAZING transformation!

    Just under 7 minute mark when you were looking at wiring. Isn't that ground kind of loose ?

    Mike what 12 volt battery do you use on the S65 that will fit behind the battery cover? I enjoy your videos and have learned much. Thank you!!

    My 1968 s90 only gets spark with a battery installed, sir

      @MiniBikeMike  2 года назад +2

      Correct, most of the 90cc Honda stuff needs a battery; ST90, S90, CL90, etc.
      I figured it out. Wait till you see next weeks video……I’m a knucklehead.

    I've built a few 140's. It sounds like a 140 and they have a different sound than the 125's.

    Throw a molkt 26mm on it. That will wake it up. I have the same engine on a lifan ct70 clone and it's a friggen ripper with a matched carb.

    Great looking bike. That was the old seat that came with it? What did your son think of the job you did. And I hope he took you out to dinner!

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  2 года назад +1

      The original seat was pretty rough, this is a new repop. He was super excited. No dinner yet. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

    Mike i am looking for an owners manual/handbook for 1975 Honda CD 70. By any chance do you have it? its been a year searching.

      @@ownersguides You ask me if I had one, I guess I wrongly assumed you were asking me if I would sell you one.
      I buy them on eBay, when they pop up. That’s the only source I know of.

    Hi Mike, would you confirm the forks that were used and are the rims wider to accommodate the tires? I in deep on a s65 for my girl, have trouble fitting a fork. Just ready to by some and move on lol

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  7 месяцев назад

      Pretty sure the rims are the stock S65 rims. 17”. The forks came off a 2005 Lifan CT70 clone.

    Great vid . Hey Mike do you know if a 140cc will fit in a ct70 ( retaining the engine bars / skid plate ) .
    thanks

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  2 года назад +2

      Thanks. Yes, the engine is a direct bolt-in. Using the engine guard will depend on the exhaust you’re running. Stock style, yes, it will bolt up. The guard will not fit (without mods) with most performance exhaust. If the 140 has a bottom mounted electric start, the guard may not fit.
