looking at this is how I saw oblivion as a kid. I'll never forget coming out of the sewers to see the land it was one of my favourite moments in any game I've ever played.
I came out at night so it felt like any other linear game, I couldn't see far ahead. Then I swam across to the ruins that I saw and for the next few hours I explored the hell out of it, I came out and it was still kinda dark. I headed to the Imperial city and there I experienced my first daylight, within the walls. I took some quest later on and then headed out. I wasn't mesmerized because of how my experience went but stepping outside to a beautiful day and taking a walk was the most relaxing thing ever. My first experience was different but it was equally amazing. That's what makes oblivion great.
Walter Sarkar True. But oblivion was the the first RPG I ever played, so to me it was like seeing a whole new world for the first time. Up till then I'd only ever played Mario, Sonic, Kirby, and other similar games, with the exception of the GTA series.
boo dead y, skyrim didn't need a remaster. oblivion and morrowwind are even superior games imo and with a new engine and stuff both would be the game of the year for me
When Bethesda made Fallout 4, they started with a port of Skyrim to current gen consoles which are 64 bit. So they thought, why not release a 64 bit port of Skyrim? Remastering Morrowind or Oblivion is like making an entirely new game, which could be better spent on developing a new game. Just saying how Developers think.
I say why bother when the community can do it just as good. I play Skyrim on an Xbox one x with a shit ton of mods and I'm blown away by how bad vanilla actually looks. If my pc was capable I would be playing skyrim on pc with these mods. I've got vivid landscapes tamieral edition and it makes everything look more enchanted and fantasy combined with vivid weather's. Would also advise forests of Skyrim dense grass and lush overhaul if your a console player.
Wow. I played Oblivion totally blind, without knowing the thing about TES lore. It was the best gaming experience I had. I still remember the very first hour of the game, the very first quest not related to main story and the very first fight outside sewers. Seeing this on Skyrim engine brings so much amazing memories. I just hope it will be done eventually so I can play it one more time.
I played the beginning of Morrowind when I was 8, but never got into it. Then I played Oblivion around 2008 and found it to be one of the best games I ever played. It was so rewarding finding items that were rare or limited in quantity and that made it worth decorating your houses with them. Also, this music is so damn nostalgic
trufu9 Exactly! I picked up every enchanted weapon I could and then just dropped them all in the basement of my house in Anvil :D I could never get into Morrowind as well. I hope to get back to it, once Beyond Skyrim or Skywind is done.
Michael Aries I'll be going back to PC once this is released since Bethesda decided to remaster Skyrim instead of their older, more deserving games. Will be loads of fun with updated graphics
you don't know how much work it would take to remaster their older games. it would literally take years, and it's basically just making a new game. in skyrim theyre just porting everything over.
The creators of this mod. I applaud all of your effort at this. You manage to keep all the amazing atmosphere of oblivion, yet also somehow seem to make it fit into skyrim's play style. If im not mistaken it will also have skyrim's leveling system, which will make this "mod" pretty much the definitive version of oblivion. I am curious to see how you will use alchemy and enchanting in this game though. Lastly, I must say that the imperial city looks great here !
Imperial city is the most boring city IMO, at least in oblivion/skyrim (haven't played previous TES games). It's just bland. It's huge but wherever you turn - it's same mossy white rocks arranged into same overly tall shapes. Yes, I know that was the intention, but it just looks tasteless. What I'm on about: I've no idea how "it looks great" could possibly apply to imperial city. :)
Lowezar I kind of like the way the Imperial City looks as a whole because of the way the districts sort of make up a class system like a real city would. But, what I meant but the city looking great was the way the textures and models look.

This is also an earlier demo. Why people don't click this channel and look through the vids, or google the project is beyond me. This is a WIP. They're still working on making it 1:1. You can't download this mod currently, but you can sub to find out when it is released. The only known release date is 2017 (my guess is the second half). SkerpTop A I think that's the biggest thing for more people. I still don't understand all the perks in that game. You could play just about anything and it'd work. In Skyrim, everything seems so one dimensional. Its like a Color Wheel of Classes. Warrior, Mage, Rogue. You can fill the blanks like Night blade, Battle Mage, Archer, etc, but that's about as deep as it gets. The story was kind of lack luster too.
You guys are incredibles, im playing ES since im 13 , and ive done and done again oblivion, and i feel so much nostalgie watching, with the song, the details..cant f****n wait to play it!

Yeah I'm sure a hundred-million dollar company is just stock-piled full of idiots and not engineer's and professional's with 6 figure pay cheques. Nah they just find the most absolute stupid people off the street and hire them. They can't direct port over the engine from Oblivion because it was made with a different god damn engine. They can't remaster the graphics the same way without putting a new games value worth of time and money into it. I'd personally rather see a new elder scrolls game and experience a new adventure rather than rehash Oblivion.
Porting a game to a new engine is like making a new game. So as a game company they have to choose between spending resources on porting a game (Remaster) or making an entirely brand new game.
Maidros Fëanoron the whole tamriel map is in vanilla Skyrim but only Skyrimis fully modeled. If a modder gets others modders help tamriel can be fully playable. It would be awesome to be able to just walk from Skyrim to Morrowind and imperial city.
Thomas Anthony - There'd be load screens between regions and the different areas would be resized. The game itself can't manage all of Tamriel all at one time, and for the latter, Cyrodiil was much smaller when viewed from Skyrim. The Cyrodiil in this renewal is bigger.
Just Jax What do you mean? Oblivion and Skyrim has same leveling system? Also yes, that was overpowered, and even if youre not a mage class you can use your spells easily since you dont need to use your hands to cast. side note: third person camera was painful in my eye too thank god for the mods
Miggy in a single player game, being op mage isn't a big deal to me, especially since it's optional. And, I said "almost the same" leveling system, with included using a skill often will level up that skill. That's been the method since morrowind.
oblivion has such an amazing world, I have been playing for 2 years and still haven't discovered everything but with Skyrim in 1 year I have discovered almost every location. Both are amazing games but I think oblivion is better for just choosing a random direction to run and finding an interesting person, awesome quest or cool dungeon. Skyrim has this too but it feels more special in oblivion.
+Daan Jordens Except the cool old armours are replaced with shitty vanilla looking skyrim imperial armours. And the crappy skyrim loading screens, and the crappy skyrim HUD and the crappy slow fat shire horses of skyrim. Should have kept all of the Oblivion stuff but added the skyrim graphics/textures and the new ENB maybe the some aspects of the combat system of Skyrim. But definitely keep the voices of Oblivion not the dull annoying skyrim voices
Matt Rogan would love that, it just seems that they are trying too hard to show you that they are integrating it with skyrim, like the old imperial guard armour looks a lot more elite and fitting for the city whereas the I feel adding skyrim imperial armour is just to say hey look skyrim textures and armours woooo
FzN King H Maybe u send team email about this and see what they can do about. Do remember it hard bring one game to other engine and they are small team right now
I think it has the feel of Skyrim there is just Oblivion map. I like it more when I mod my Oblivion it has the feel of Oblivion and look better than this.
I promise you that your Oblivion doesn't look this good. Not to mention this looks just like Oblivion, only with way better graphics. It's even the old music. Nothing about this looks like Skyrim. Skyrim was cold and gray and dreary.
Michael Castro Uhhh.. yea sorry, navmeshes take a long time to be by hand, if you have any experience on modding Skyrim / Oblivion please go to our website TESRenewal. But it's best for us to complete Skywind first rather than this prodject.
+Ginger King i am not good at the creation kit ( i am learning) ... i am a beginner ... i am fck bad at creating custom things like meshes and new armors , weapons , bows etc... Could i help too with my "little" skills?
Avalon MC Yes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Keep practicing until you think you are confident enough. You can go to our website to get more details. At the moment we are just finishing Skywind.(Can't tell details as i'm not that high up) This will give you plenty of time to practice your skills. Concentrate on navmeshing the most. And dabble in other stuff if you fell like it, do what you want! All help IS appreciated.
I would like to thank all the people who are involved in this project, even if you are doing a shitty job like making lists or something, I am extremely grateful to you. Oblivion will always have a special place in my heart, I used to play it for days in my teen years, it is through this game that I improved my English and met some of my best friends. The very sight of Cyrodiil makes me feel a deep nostalgia. I miss every single part of it. Due to circumstances in life, I have not been able to play Oblivion for 3 years. ;_; Even if this project never completes and people keep adding to it, I would still like to see it being developed. Even if it takes forever. I long for summer holidays or something so that I can visit my beloved land again, even if it is fictional, it feels like my long lost love. There are so many memories in that game, the music, the sight of it, and videos such as this add to my nostalgia. Thank you, everybody who is making this. Thank you for the feels. ;_;
what i mean is that how much greater this makes oblivion! dual wield, animations, graphics, its not amazing graphics wise but its better! this makes oblivion, like, almost perfect, if not we had crysis level graphics Dominik Miso
My north warrior: Is this place for milk drinkers or what. No dragons, giants, raging vamps. we could pillage the crap out of this place in our loin clothes.
Skyrim Npcs converse with each other. Just not as often as in Oblivion. Like the marketplace areas in towns have tons of conversation. As do the taverns. Family members will also engage in conversation. I remember hearing Braith talking with her father Amren in Whiterun about the crush she has on Lars. Its MUCH more rare in Skyrim and certain conditions have to be met as opposed to the random "I ran into a mud crab yesterday" stuff, but it certainly does happen.
+Donbro With the possible exception of Sovngarde's theme. But overall, yeah. Landslide win for Oblivion. One might even say that they OBLITERATED Skyrim's soundtrack.
This is incredible. Just... Incredible. Oblivion is hands down my favorite game and the work done to recreate it is a dream come true. Keep up the amazing work!
This looks absolutely gorgeous!! I've been playing TES IV recently and the realism of the maps is really well done! There is no way i can express my awe
I wish I knew how to mod/program propperly so I could help you guys. This is looking insanely good so far. Truly hope you guys can finish this. Good job and keep at it guys!!!
Just for me? LOL dont try that hard to get at me, you'll just shit your pants. There is a whole crowd of lore fans that hate Todd's version of Cyrodiil out there.
Here's what Bethesda should do, they should give some money and resources twords helping this mod become a remastered version whilst working on skyrim remastered, and then have morrowind be backwords compatible.
I just want to thank all the 2people who are helping with this project. It looks amazing and I know it will only get better. Good work and I look forward to downloading and playing this mod/game.
I literally cried when I saw you go into the Imperial City. That nostalgia just overwhelmed me, so many childhood memories with Oblivion. Thanks for this.
omg it's looking awesome i cant thank you enough for this i just wish you finish and please fully working quests its so awesome to play oblivion again but in another and better engine i'm wondering if this mod will have all of oblivion like all quests dialog etc !! ? thx so much for this please make it happen
Vittamar Akbin I'm afraid that was also the stock sound used in Oblivion as well. You'd be surprised to see the amount of sound effects Oblivion borrowed from Morrowind as well.
Manimitoro I don't know the name, but the mean falling and screaming. The sound is used in command and conquer, starship troopers (I think), dozens of medieval movies as well as actions movies. Then there is the dying sound which sounds like he is exploding in blood, used in starcraft, seven kingdoms and another game I forgot :D
Such as great mod,. Drastically change everything,.But I hope in the future Bethesda would create entire Tamriel put it on the one series together,. so we can traveling every single place in Tamriel. I don't mind if the size of game beating CoD Iw Not like ESO,.
internet connection is not big problem for developed countries, what about in developing countries? for example my neighbor doesnt have any internet access so far
This is going to be a brand spanking new game for me. I haven't yet played Oblivion and won't until you release Skyblivion so I can experience the amazing story in Skyrim graphics! Cannot wait!!!
Skyblivion Videos cool cool so are you guys going to implement some sort of time travel between the two time periods like tale of two wastelands, my example would be if you started in the Skyrim time line you would get a quest to get a elder scroll to time travel Vice versa if you started in oblivion, just an idea
Ok now I feel like an ass. It was a lame joke. The horse armour dlc was the most bs dlc for a TES game ever made. Generally known for being the poster child for bs dlc.
So much nostalgy. To all of those in here who understand this feeling, i salute you. I sure hope future generations have their own "Morrowind" or "Oblivion" equivalent to feel nostalgic about later on, and get that beautiful feeling of peace and quiet while playing said upcoming game.
When you get time, you should try to send an email to Bethesda that show cases this along with a request to strike some sort of deal. Or hell, do a kick starter on this. My point is Half-Life Black Mesa was originally just a mod that was free, after sending an email out they ended up getting backed by Valve and they released it as a paid mod. Creators got a ton of money and Valve took their usually 30% from it being on Steam.... honestly they might even have taken 40 or 50% since its basically their game, anyway my point is they got backing and ended up getting paid really well for all of their hard work. Still since Zenimax is their parent company who knows what they will end up doing since Zenimax was founded by a really good lawyer. >_> Like your mod can literally be the foundation of them doing an Oblivion Remastered using your work you already put into it, then see them working on it and doing the rest of the work and compensate you with a 'special thanks' in the credits. It doesn't sound like much, but to see your work in a market place, getting paid a decent amount for it, on top of having it become a full fledged reality would be overwhelming I'd imagine. Anyways, just food for thought. Realistically they can EA the shit out of it and shut down the project. :|
He probably recreated the original map using the Skyrim Creation Kit. I guess it has a terrain engine (as in it lets you create landscapes). Many map/mod kits have this feature, such as the toolkits for the old Unreal Tournament games. I'm guessing even GTA San Andreas on PC had one because IIRC I saw a mod that was a new island!
ncshuriken the vanilla Skyrim already have the whole map but obviously not with buildings or npc. You can look for it on RUclips or use the no clip cheat to go pass Skyrims borders. Weird thing is the gold tower is "visible"
ncshuriken its because bethesda was moddeling the elder scrolls online and got a headstart on it through skyrims engine. you can also see part of a city in morrowind aswell
it's not only that. The thing that makes a very big difference is that it works on 64bits. Yes, you can get enb, add mods and make skyrim look a lot better. But running on 64bits opens up a lot of better options.
DragonBorn24287 ok so I don't know anything about making mods and what all is not possible to create for PS4...can those special armor mods or weapons mods be made for PS4?
Once you scrolled farther past Bruma I had to yell "by the nine!" Because I was so use to only seeing only Bruma from Beyond Skyrim... utterly beautiful.

Not enough people willing to pay 60$ for an HD Oblivion, while there is tons of nostalgia, the market isn't worth it.

One thing I doubt they will be able to replicate is the beautiful stary sky from Oblivion. That was truly a sight to behold.
Maidros Fëanoron - Pretty sure that's the least difficult thing to improve
Wait, so they make this with elements from both games, not just Skyrim, right? I guess that would explain how the Imperial city is there...
A sky box can be altered. It's just a texture they put really high above the map.
Looks fucking amazing. Thank you so much for the videos you uploaded...been waiting on this forever. I'm so hype now.
As soon as I hear the Oblivion music it takes me back. I wish I could go back and play it again like the first time around. Was a brilliant game.
By the Nine, this is to die for.
please don't tell me people's faces will still be made out of melted wax
Why do you insult me. To Oblivion with you
Mum said no one will notice 😭😭😭
the argonians faces were pretty good imo.
okokok
this video reminded me of the one thing Skyrim got over Oblivion...
the running animation.
I cringe when my character runs and sways his hips.
And pretty much all combat mechanics
What about the leveling system? also the magic was kinda stupid too
The level was almost the same, and in Oblivion u could create ur own spells
Just Jax What do you mean? Oblivion and Skyrim has same leveling system?
Also yes, that was overpowered, and even if youre not a mage class you can use your spells easily since you dont need to use your hands to cast.
side note: third person camera was painful in my eye too thank god for the mods
Miggy in a single player game, being op mage isn't a big deal to me, especially since it's optional.
And, I said "almost the same" leveling system, with included using a skill often will level up that skill. That's been the method since morrowind.
THIS, THIS IS THE REMASTER PEOPLE WANT.
oblivion has such an amazing world, I have been playing for 2 years and still haven't discovered everything but with Skyrim in 1 year I have discovered almost every location. Both are amazing games but I think oblivion is better for just choosing a random direction to run and finding an interesting person, awesome quest or cool dungeon. Skyrim has this too but it feels more special in oblivion.
Bethesda should pay for this mod polish it up nicely and sell it as DLC i would buy it in a heart beat
a nice change of scenery. I want this just so i dont have to see all of that damn snow in skyrim. frozen wasteland
Simmba Serket oblivion is just the West Yorkshire country side copied and pasted then they decided to place ruins caves everywhere
Simmba Serket I mean if you want this mod to get away from the snowy wasteland, why not just download a mod that gets rid of the snowy wasteland?
I really hope this whole project sees completion. Very ambitious and so far gorgeous.
God I fucking need this to be released
Oh this is a work of Art.
That view of the Imperial City at 27:33 is what makes this mod so good for me. Can't wait to play this! Take as long as you need :)
ikr ;)
Beautiful... The first 3 minutes where you're running through the forest is my dream world/biome.
Tbh I'd pay for oblivion remastered
I wouldn't, given the piss-poor job Bethesda did with Skyrim Special Edition.
what job? lol all they did was add depth of field and sold it for $60
lmao sunshafts and DoF and toggle sprint were added and console got the HD texture pack
A Wet Paper Bag I paid 9$ for oblivion goty with backwards compatibility for my xbone. Saved 51$
a remastered one, not just a copy over.
IT FEELS LIKE COMING HOME!
ikr!
+FzN King H this is early versoin so it could change later version
Matt Rogan would love that, it just seems that they are trying too hard to show you that they are integrating it with skyrim, like the old imperial guard armour looks a lot more elite and fitting for the city whereas the I feel adding skyrim imperial armour is just to say hey look skyrim textures and armours woooo
FzN King H
Maybe u send team email about this and see what they can do about. Do remember it
hard bring one game to other engine and they are small team right now
Nice, it even has the feel of oblivion!
I'm more excited for this than Skywind
+Jakob Germain Yep this will be amazing.
+Ginger King holy crap man that's a long wait :/. If that's true this might take longer than TES VI....
Michael Castro
Uhhh.. yea sorry, navmeshes take a long time to be by hand, if you have any experience on modding Skyrim / Oblivion please go to our website TESRenewal.
At the moment we are just finishing Skywind.(Can't tell details as i'm not that high up)
This will give you plenty of time to practice your skills.
Concentrate on navmeshing the most.
And dabble in other stuff if you fell like it, do what you want! All help IS appreciated.
I'm getting ASMR chills from just the horse riding around and the soft music
When I was a kid I thought oblivion was scary
Arturo Losoya Me too haha But I liked watching my friend play :p
Getting killed by a rat :)
Most kids would man! Everything feels more real & convincing when you're a little ripper!
Me too! I stayed the hell away from Oblivion gates. Oblivion planes used to give me the creeps.
same, specially the quest into the dungeon full of undead for the mage guild ahaha
That is nuts I never knew such a mod existed
Its so amazing I wanna cry
This is magnificent
Dam 5 years later and still being worked on... The dedication is unbelievable
I would like to thank all the people who are involved in this project, even if you are doing a shitty job like making lists or something, I am extremely grateful to you.
Oblivion will always have a special place in my heart, I used to play it for days in my teen years, it is through this game that I improved my English and met some of my best friends.
The very sight of Cyrodiil makes me feel a deep nostalgia. I miss every single part of it. Due to circumstances in life, I have not been able to play Oblivion for 3 years. ;_;
Even if this project never completes and people keep adding to it, I would still like to see it being developed. Even if it takes forever. I long for summer holidays or something so that I can visit my beloved land again, even if it is fictional, it feels like my long lost love.
There are so many memories in that game, the music, the sight of it, and videos such as this add to my nostalgia.
Thank you, everybody who is making this.
Thank you for the feels.
;_;
*cries* its, its beautiful, *balls eyes out*
This is beautiful? :D it looks little bit better than Skyrim nothing else.
Dominik Miso
I mean how awsome this is, its, so nostalgic. *continues to cry*
Meme Emperor Yeah it is but it look really like Sykirm and not like Oblivion :(
what i mean is that how much greater this makes oblivion! dual wield, animations, graphics, its not amazing graphics wise but its better! this makes oblivion, like, almost perfect, if not we had crysis level graphics Dominik Miso
You can this mod by yourself and you can have crysis graphics only animations will be not so good but they will be better
My North warrior would die with that fucking hot land
Doubt it.
My north warrior: Is this place for milk drinkers or what. No dragons, giants, raging vamps. we could pillage the crap out of this place in our loin clothes.
Man when I hear that music! Joy!
Every single person putting their time into this mod is amazing, I cant imagine the scale of a project like this. YALL THE REAL MVP, and i mean that.
I really like that you've captured the colours of Oblivion so well.
Oblivion on Skyrim engine will never be as good as the original. Not without all NPCs in cities roaming around and talking to each other.
This is in a pre-alpha state with only some basic assets so far. It will most likely have more NPCs than Oblivion when finished.
I mean that in Skyrim NPCs don't talk to each other unless it's their firtst meeting with you
Soku Idk, it might be because I haven't played vanilla Skyrim in so long but the NPCs in my molded Skyrim interact with each other quite a bit.
Its MUCH more rare in Skyrim and certain conditions have to be met as opposed to the random "I ran into a mud crab yesterday" stuff, but it certainly does happen.
download realistic conversations and realistic npcs or whatever its called
I really hope the next elder scrolls game lets us travel to the imperial capital! Cyrodiil
Capital!
Cyrodiil is not the capital of the Empire...
♡ This... is.. amazing!
Never did I ever think this would be possible. You guys have created something amazing here. It's like the second coming of my childhood!
That map at the beginning looked beautiful. Everything else looks good, too. Keep up the good work.
When modders makes a better work than Bethesda
oblivion has the best music handsdown
+Donbro With the possible exception of Sovngarde's theme. But overall, yeah. Landslide win for Oblivion. One might even say that they OBLITERATED Skyrim's soundtrack.
Why are the guards not Wes Johnson? That needs to be fixed.
Absolutely stunning! I haven't played Oblivion in a long time, and watching this bought up some fond memories. Keep up the good work!
This is incredible. Just... Incredible. Oblivion is hands down my favorite game and the work done to recreate it is a dream come true. Keep up the amazing work!
Using the deer from Skyrim kinda broke it. They look very cold adapted and out of place.
I'm sure they'll change their textures a bit.
Lukie LeDoux this mod will have a lot of changes before the release
Cool
Holy shit this is beautiful
eh all the trees look the same and the edge of the raods faded into the grass quite crappily. Not that great imo.
Final Cam I bet you can do spmething better right?
whoops, fanboys triggered. have fun with it guys.
This is an old build, in version 0.3 trees have new models, and LOD has been updated. It also performs much better than 0.2
WAIT
WHAAT IS THIS
This looks absolutely gorgeous!! I've been playing TES IV recently and the realism of the maps is really well done! There is no way i can express my awe
I wish I knew how to mod/program propperly so I could help you guys. This is looking insanely good so far. Truly hope you guys can finish this. Good job and keep at it guys!!!
Looks nice and stuff, but you should have turned it into the lore version instead of Bethesda's Disney medieval themepark version.
What is the lore version exactly?
Not sure what you mean?
Jesus Christ people, read the damn original TES lore about the Imperial City, not Todd's edited version.
Luzur
You are right, we should be making an entirely new game just for you... Shit. What a waste.
Shut up
It looks amazing but it's so empty.
Hence why it's 'in progress'.
I came in my pants watching this glorious video
damn this looks great
I would buy a gaming PC to play this.
i have no words. the person/people behind this have true patience and determination. This is art what you have created.
i enjoy how the walk through the city looks like a beautiful morning stroll
omg it's looking awesome i cant thank you enough for this i just wish you finish and please fully working quests its so awesome to play oblivion again but in another and better engine i'm wondering if this mod will have all of oblivion like all quests dialog etc !! ? thx so much for this please make it happen
We will have all quests from Oblivion.
He used the same stock sound of birds as in the settlers 3...
Vittamar Akbin I'm afraid that was also the stock sound used in Oblivion as well. You'd be surprised to see the amount of sound effects Oblivion borrowed from Morrowind as well.
Manimitoro
yes, like the thunder sound or dying man stock sound
Manimitoro
I don't know the name, but the mean falling and screaming. The sound is used in command and conquer, starship troopers (I think), dozens of medieval movies as well as actions movies.
Then there is the dying sound which sounds like he is exploding in blood, used in starcraft, seven kingdoms and another game I forgot :D
Manimitoro
I looked it up, it is a longer scream, maybe 3 seconds long
Wilhelm scream
I'm only 1:43 in and I'm already trying to summon Satan and make a deal for this.
best mod I've ever seen and I've actually been hoping that a mod like this existed. maybe one day I will conquer all of tamriel.
The lighting alone is a vast improvement over the original. Those dark forests dynamically shadowed from the sun look gorgeous.
I think Berthaseda should alow it to be released they should get into talking to the original developer as I would mind paying for the hd upgrade
+Martin Hague you should try and take this message to more people.
+SNIperofDARKness02 year great idea but I not sure how to
It would be nice if Bethesda recognized these guys and helped them finish it.
why don't you just mod it
+iisaturtle legal reasons unfortunately
Such as great mod,. Drastically change everything,.But I hope in the future Bethesda would create entire Tamriel put it on the one series together,. so we can traveling every single place in Tamriel. I don't mind if the size of game beating CoD Iw
Not like ESO,.
But you can travel all of Tamriel in ESO.
You must have internet connection to play that game..
Do Marash Its the 21st century, who doesn't have an internet connection, but has a new gen console nowadays?
internet connection is not big problem for developed countries, what about in developing countries? for example my neighbor doesnt have any internet access so far
VERY AMAZING! But come on, keep the original voices from Oblivion, don't change the guards voices.
Those were placeholders, voices work in the latest dev build.
This is going to be a brand spanking new game for me. I haven't yet played Oblivion and won't until you release Skyblivion so I can experience the amazing story in Skyrim graphics! Cannot wait!!!
Just hearing the music as he rides his horse through the forest makes all the memories come back to me *sigh* :-)
So what's the plan for this mod are you recreating the oblivion game and it's quests or are you making a new quest line fallowing Skyrims time line?
Oblivion quests in Oblivion time line.
Skyblivion Videos cool cool so are you guys going to implement some sort of time travel between the two time periods like tale of two wastelands, my example would be if you started in the Skyrim time line you would get a quest to get a elder scroll to time travel Vice versa if you started in oblivion, just an idea
That's nice, but where is the horse armour?
Phil P
I still need to do that, but Skyrim has no horse armour, so I'll have to look into it. I'm aware there's a mod for it though.
Ok now I feel like an ass. It was a lame joke. The horse armour dlc was the most bs dlc for a TES game ever made. Generally known for being the poster child for bs dlc.
where can i download this single-player mod in its entirety? one file to rule them all... ?
The mod isn't anywhere close to released yet
So much nostalgy.
To all of those in here who understand this feeling, i salute you.
I sure hope future generations have their own "Morrowind" or "Oblivion" equivalent to feel nostalgic about later on, and get that beautiful feeling of peace and quiet while playing said upcoming game.
Man this is absolutely amazing and I am beyond psyched for this.
please tell me you will recompile this for special edition, and add the old oblivion music. i miss wings of kynareth
Yes, eventually.
Skyblivion Videos when wil the downloads be made available?
Like your mod can literally be the foundation of them doing an Oblivion Remastered using your work you already put into it, then see them working on it and doing the rest of the work and compensate you with a 'special thanks' in the credits. It doesn't sound like much, but to see your work in a market place, getting paid a decent amount for it, on top of having it become a full fledged reality would be overwhelming I'd imagine. Anyways, just food for thought. Realistically they can EA the shit out of it and shut down the project. :|
how did you get a whole oblivion world added and fully mapped?
Thomas Anthony That's weird lol. Why is it there? An Easter egg for modders or something?
ncshuriken its because bethesda was moddeling the elder scrolls online and got a headstart on it through skyrims engine. you can also see part of a city in morrowind aswell
Delhart MGS Thanks for explaining it!
When you finish this, please port in Skyrim SE, if not already compatible.
or just get an enb.
Adi special edition is basicaly godrays and some more shrubs
it's not only that. The thing that makes a very big difference is that it works on 64bits. Yes, you can get enb, add mods and make skyrim look a lot better. But running on 64bits opens up a lot of better options.
It's being ported at the moment. Version 0.3 has a big boost to performance regardless.
Adi oh yeah i forgot about that, the shadows are also smoother and the render distance is increased
The Oblivion-soundtrack is so incredibly tranquil.
Alot of people don't know this, but this was actually the first mod made by a team of member berries..
Kirk Daniels rememberrrrrr
member the fighters guild?
the game looks a bit too bright
Just foliage my shit up!
So is this like skyrim with an oblivion layout and format or whatever or is it oblivion with skyrim layout and stuff
The game itself is SKyrim, with the Oblivion world added.
Skyblivion Videos ohhhhhhhhh ok
DragonBorn24287 ok so I don't know anything about making mods and what all is not possible to create for PS4...can those special armor mods or weapons mods be made for PS4?
Whoever made this mod deserves a round of applause for the hard work.
Once you scrolled farther past Bruma I had to yell "by the nine!" Because I was so use to only seeing only Bruma from Beyond Skyrim... utterly beautiful.
