Todd doesn't respect the Enclave. Treats them like generic enemy faction №238. While in the original games even the super mutants had deep meaning and a purpose behind their existance.
I mean... even in Fallout 2 they were supposed to be the moustache-swirling villains. They’re the United States government-turned Nazi, trying to gas the world 😐
Todd actually gave the Enclave depth by creating a divide with Eden and Autumn who have seperate goals. In FO2 they were literally just generic bad guys who want to kill everyone for the sake of killing everyone.

To all enclave lovers, there is a mod for another game, Hearts of Iron 4, Old World Blues a mod that wants to cover all the North American map of faction, this mod has a submod called Enclave Reborn Redux, you can play as the enclave and choose between the clasic purity or become reformist. Sort of thing Autumn wanted.

The fact that the Enclave are just labeled as 'the bad guys' just destroys so much lore and potential for possibly a new branch for people to look into the Fallout series. Of course it's too much to ask Bethesda to make a Fallout game with a beginning Enclave (possibly Brotherhood of Steel) story, that would be a good idea something that they lack in *cough* fallout76...
Yes, it would be great to hear about their story and what did happen with Vault Tec. To me, I believe Vault Tec backstabbed the Enclave and the rest of the world.

@@Carlosdreamur Man, i'd love to serve the enclave like they do in-game if they were a playable faction, like in fallout 4 the BoS gives you missions to control the Vertibird minigun to clear out ghouls and super-mutants for example. Wearing X-01 or X-02 on a Enclave patrol cleansing the wasteland and doing specific quests would be a dream for a fallout game or update specifically in my opinion.
@@Carlosdreamur After dealing with raiders and tribals, reclaim pre war tech and invade another country in Europe or China of course. The war isn't over private, it just had a 200 year ceasefire

Man, this is incredibly atmospheric. It gives off this high tech post-apocalyptic world on the edge of extinction, yet a small, elite, force, surpassing their forbears' technological and military capabilities, carries on their torch: their hope and dreams, covertly, to a better future. America reborn.
I always liked the Enclave, ever since I first saw them. They have a vision, and most of their ranks are simply patriotic Americans who weathered the nuclear apocalypses, advancing pre-war technology, maintaining their manufacturing, culture and have nearly limitless energy due to cold fusion, fusion and, possibly, Big MT replicators; the Enclave is a living time capsule in the Fallout Universe of what 2077 USA was like. If the Enclave won, the USA could be rebuilt, the environment restored, and a new Space Age, entered into.

People like to dunk on Bethesda all the time, but one thing they did right was their art. You can tell they really lean into the atompunk aesthetic of Fallout especially in 4, and it looks so good, especially in the 2D art like the power armor and on some of the magazines. The only other one that does it as good is Fallout 1.

I never understood why they wanted to kill the inhabitants of the vaults. I thought they were pro human and wanted a mutant free world. Wouldn't the vault dwellers be considered among the pure strain humans that the Enclave could absorb into their ranks?
Probably not out of desire, but order. The vault dwellers are basically lifelong witnesses to experimentation they never had a say in. If it was ever to be discovered down the road, the Enclave would be under fire from its own people about the matter.
Knowing the government, they'd pick the few vaults that had a prosperous nature to them and run with the hope that citizens are dumb enough to go 'otay, seem gud', and fuck off lol.
I’m pretty sure a fallout writer said the scene looked cool and that they didn’t actually minigun any vault dwellers.
With what seems like half the vaults being some F'd up experiment, I assume they didn't want to risk a coinflip on them having something that makes the Super mutants look like a joke. Or they actually knew what that vaults experiment was and reached the conclusion that they had to go.

Wait there is super mutants inside an power armour?
That is what Frank Horrigan was. Basically, he was the president's Security guard but after either being splashed with FEV at the ruins of Mariposa or being just injected with it at the Enclave oil rig, I've heard both being the reasons, he began to turn into a Super Mutant. The Enclave then grafted a suit of specially designed and crafted Power Armor onto him and then trained him to become their perfect soldier. Luckily, the Chosen One saw an end to him and the West Coast Enclave on the Oil Rig.
No matter what happens to the enclave, I'll gladly spill my blood in any fallout game to destroy brotherhood of steel and cleanse the wasteland of supermutants and ghouls with my own fists.
