The ending of this movie made me tear up. The Walt Disney quote at the end made me cry even more. This was one of the best films I've seen in a long time.
This brings back so many memories and gets me through the hard days, being a foster care for 6 yrs getting abused and getting treated like trash. I'm 15 and I know I will find a family someday :)
God Bless you Stevie. I wish I could rescue and protect every child in this world from it's many forms of cruelty. There are loving people out there. I will pray (my Christmas wish) so that a family will take you in as their own and share the level of love I've received as a child and currently give to my children.
I still fail to understand how this movie is so inspirational, emotional and seventh place on highest grossing animated features of all time but so horribly underrated.
It's all connotative messages and morals. It's not the story, it's what it means. As we grow older we lose our connotative thinking because we are forced to see reality and lose our sense of imagination from our kid years, maybe that's why it's hard to see.
This song increased the meaning of this movie for me. When you look back, don't dwell on it. Let go of the pain of your darkest moments. Release the weight of your past. Don't let those who wronged you turn you into something you're not, or cause you do something you'll regret. No matter what, the future, YOUR future, is in the palms of your hands, and the direction you let your feet carry you. Always believe in yourself. Taking a line from Atlantis,"When you hit the bottom, the only direction left to go is up". In other words, if you do hit a low point, gently stand back up, and soar into the sky. Your life is what you make of it. Keep moving forward.
Letting go of the past is harder then it sounds. I should know. I still haven't forgiven my parents for some of the emotional pain that they forced upon me, but I am starting to let some of it go.
I think the reason why this movie didn't hit so high was because the message was a bit too hard to comprehend for young children, I myself didn't understand the message either until 8 years after the movie came out, I listen to this song constantly and it honestly is one of the strongest movie messages Disney has done and now I listen to this every time I go somewhere driving or waking up to remind me of this message.

Meet the Robinsons was one of my favorite animations from Disney. The quote of "keep moving forward" and at the same time the ending of seeing your future self & talking to yourself as a kid made me reflect on my own.
This movie inspired and opened my mind to the infinite possibilities of science. There were nights when I was a child where I spent hours and hours formulating new ideas and concepts. My passion in science even gave me awards, representing my little province, despite my school being in a secluded place. But because I grew up in a country where there is hostility in opportunities and literally riddled in war and conflict, I decided to pursue my career in Law. Defending the dreams of the innocents, at the cost of my own. But one day, I'll go back at it. Science does not discriminate, it only needs passion to bring forth ones brilliance. Whether you are poor or rich, or smart or otherwise. All you need is a little nudge, and this movie gave that to me.
I thought about this movie out of the blue. Maybe because I've been feeling nostalgic lately and reminded of this movie's message to keep moving forward. Sighs I miss the old days.
Same here, almost 18 actually but when this movie came out I was in a really bad situation and didn't have hope I always hoped to have a good future and now I'm going to college in the fall and I have my boyfriend with me.
This song really helps me cope whenever I'm under the weather. This song always saves me whenever I don't know what to do anymore. I really appreciate this.
When this movie came out my son and I watched this and sang along to this song almost daily...for years... This was his favorite movie. Daddy Loves You, Bear! Keep Moving Forward!
idk I felt like Frozen had a good plot and wonderful soundtrack but I felt like the whole thing was rushed. The Good Dinosaur had a good plot as well but it was really rushed and had a lot of forced humor and I never really got to connect with the characters in it
2016. I decided to re-watch this movie and it's probably the best decision I have ever done. Amazing how a movie can bring so much meaning yet so underrated. I needed this right now. Life's going down the drain and to think a Disney show would help lift up your spirits. Whatever life throws at you, failure, disappointment, negativity; you just keep moving forward. Coz the movie made us see that there is a brighter future ahead of us, no matter your situation; with the right decisions, you'll get there.
i just rewatched it earlier and yes like you, one of the best decision i have ever done.. and damn.. i cried for an hour or so.. it's been 10 years, since the last time i watch the movie.. i agree with you..
Honestly, this is my favorite Disney movie. It showed me that no matter where you come from and what gets in your way, you can do amazing things if you keep your heart set on it; if we all do that, we will the lead the way for a brighter future. The animation is gorgeous, the writing is great, and it's such a tenderhearted movie overall. "Around here we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." -Walt Disney
Sanity I kind of think of Pixar as something separate; Disney's in-house stuff and Pixar both have different styles on how they make movies. I do like Up though; not sure if I would say it's a favorite, but it's really good.
I'm adopted and as someone who went through everything Louis went through i could/ still relate to him and felt/feel seen everytime i watch Meet the Robinsons. I'm so glad Disney made that movie. When we were first going through the adoption my mom and dad sent me a slideshow video of pics and in the background played this song. This song has always had a special place in my heart because of that. Today April 22nd 15 years ago is the first day we spent together as a family. We watched this movie together, so every year on this date I listen to this song and watch the movie.
I tear up every time, this movie quickly became my favourite when my dad bought the DVD and I'm still watching it now, still listening to the music... This is an incredible movie
Meet the Robinson's is a must watch for every child. In a world where society is making excuses for every failure or pointing out who you can blame. We all need to remember to keep moving forward.😎😎😎😎
This song reminds me of the bad times and adversity I faced in my life I can’t lie especially like when I got the worse grades in maths and English GCSE possible in 2018 and then I had to enrol at college to do maths and English something called functional skills which was lower than GCSE and I had to pass that to be able to move up to GCSE and in 2021 I passed functional skills then I moved up to GCSE and passed English GCSE and got a D grade in maths which I will do in another college the point is that no matter how bad things get in your life you never give in and keep moving forward and see how far you can go which can be more than you ever imagine just like me
Decided to rewatch this movie and it honestly never fails to make me tear up. It is so moving. I watch this every single time I doubt my life choices and just keep telling myself to keep moving forward!
The fact that he always wanted to build the time machine so that he could go back in time to ask his mother why did she leave him, but didn't at the end, made this movie such a special one. He realised that what his mother did shaped his life to be a better one, thus asking her would ruin it all. He really "Let It Go" and did "Keep Moving Forward".
This song has a true meaning. The movie was awesome, and this song really makes the movie even greater. Keep moving forward everyone. Don't let the little things mess with your life. Live your dreams.
Since I was a small kid until now I come back to this song because it reminds me of my childhood even if I'm not that old yet. I miss the times when we our family lived together in our old house and I'd play and be carefree not stressed from anything. If I could come back from the past, I'd want to tell myself to cherish these moments because what we love will not last forever.
I remember watching this with my mom when she bought this movie and I just remember me crying so hard at the end cause it made me so happy that Luis/Louis/Lewis got a happy ending, especially Goob when he got a family and caught the baseball oml im still crying over this..
First watched this when I was 13. The same year my family and I migrated to Australia. I remember the song being played when we arrived at the Sydney Airport. Still remember feeling so afraid, so small yet hopeful and excited at the same time. Everytime I hear this song I get reminded of that memory at the airport and all the emotions that made my heart beat like a drum. I've never heard of any other song that has the same effect on me in the 23 years that I've been alive. This song will forever be my favorite

This movie was so emotional for me. This song really hit me in the feels... I love listening to it now that I'm older and need to remind myself that everything happens for a reason, that we need to just let things roll off our backs, take a deep breathe, and realize we're still alive. That no matter what, we'll be just fine
I recently realized the reason I loved this movie so much as a kid and why I cried at the end every time was because I was waiting for a family who loved me like his did would come to get me, so needless to say this shit hurts even more now
This movie really teaches me that I DON'T HAVE TO LOOK BACKWARDS FOR VERY LONG and motivates me to keep trying on my dreams even if I failure sometimes I just have to KEEP MOVING FORWARD OPENING NEW DOORS AND TRYING NEW THINGS. BECAUSE COURIOSITY KEEPS LEADING ME DOWN NEW PATHS! Always my favorite movie! THANKS WALT!
Let it go Let it roll right off your shoulder Don't you know? The hardest part is over Let it in Let your clarity define you In the end We will only just remember how it feels Our lives are made In these small hours These little wonders These twists and turns of fate Time falls away But these small hours These small hours Still remain Let it slide Let your troubles fall behind you Let it shine 'Til you feel it all around you And I don't mind If it's me you need to turn to We'll get by It's the heart that really matters in the end Our lives are made In these small hours These little wonders These twists and turns of fate Time falls away But these small hours These small hours Still remain All of my regret Will wash away somehow But I cannot forget The way I feel right now In these small hours These little wonders These twists and turns of fate Yeah, these twists and turns of fate Time falls away Yeah, but these small hours And these small hours Still remain Yeah, oh, oh Oh, they still remain These little wonders Oh, these twists and turns of fate Time falls away But these small hours These little wonders Still remain
I remember going to see this movie with my dad when I was 9... now I’m 20 and honestly getting choked up watching this again because of realizing how much simpler life was back then...
My friend works in NICU as a nurse and she has had a lot of deaths lately. I listened to this song after she told me about her precious little ones. Just trying to share in her grief so she isnt alone. Every minute is precious and it should be celebrated. The hours may be small but the time spent will always remain in the hearts of the various people that encountered them.
One of the last pure beautiful movies that is clean from dirty jokes of any kind, and no romance or whatever weird things are in animated movie nowadays

My high school graduation song so every time I end up passing Disney on cable and see it this was a superb ending thus making the 12 years in school also seem superb in some way. Sad, nostalgic but keep on moving forward is the message.
This will always be my favorite movie. Always feeling like I wasn't wanted and that I was a failure. This movie taught me to keep moving forward. It will get better.
Love this movie back then...and until now. I always end up crying with the ending when lewis finally realized that he indeed end up with a great family that love him completely . And with that rob thomas song.... The scene was perfect.
I was successful in holding back my tears the whole time i watched the movie then suddenly the credits started to roll and this song played....i cried for a whole 10 minutes. This is just a masterpiece. Almost ten years passed and I still love this film.
The movie came out when I was 9, roughly... and I remember feeling So, overwhelmingly inspired that I dreamed, i dreamed big, it made my childhood... I wish disney would make inspirational movies like this, easily digestible for kids and easy to remember as an adult... their current creations feel... contaminated, bagged with an ideology that children won't even think about with their free will...
This song means a lot. I hide how i feel every day but when it says "let it go, let it roll right off your shoulder" i feel a lot better, makes me feel like I dont have have to hide behind the mask(figuratively) And "all of my regret will wash away some how" makes me think I have to let it go i cant hold on to my regrets forever, keep moving forward made me more motivated when i first heard it. I want to get better, i need to take off the mask and be happy. I dont know you but im always here to talk if you need it.your amazing and dont ever let any one or anything stop you from being happy and regret free. Keep moving forward

Man, this song. This song got me to leave my depression away. Not fully but helped so much. I needed to hear the words that was sung in this song. And also remembering the movie. I needed to let go. The hard parts are over. That you're ok. And the future awaits you. I listened to this song a night before I woke up new. Prayed for my depression to leave. To start new the next day. Becuz where I was at is where I was is where i got bullied when I went to school there one year, which ruined my life at the time. 5 years later, come once again. But to leave the depression like I said. To hear this song. After so much pain. Things I did. Thoughts I had. I needed to let that go. And to keep...moving...forward because the future awaits me ^_^
Whenever I feel like I need to reconnect with myself again, I always come back to this song for some reason. Time flies so fast and a lot of things has happen lately that I don't even know if those things matter. *sigh.. I'm on journey within myself right now that only I can discover. I always pray a lot, I REALLY TRUST THIS JOURNEY.. I hope that whatever happens, I will be somewhere where I wanted to be 😊
Who's here in 2018? I cry every time I hear this. It gets me every time, without fail. I remember the good ol' days when I lived overseas with my family of 6, spreading the Gospel with the people there. We watched Meet the Robinsons a lot, and I guess that's why the song makes me ugly-cry every time I hear it; remembering the past, when things were different, when people were different, and life was put on hold for the years we were there. All that mattered was family. We did everything together. Life couldn't be better. Fast forward 7 years. Now my brother's a sophomore in college, and my sister's going to college next school year. I come back to this song, remembering the times we had, and wishing life could be the same as it used to be. Memories remind us of our past pain and joy. Treasure them. Savor the time with the ones you love, because time passes too quickly. I am a Christian, so I know that I will see my family again in heaven. But your time on earth is limited. So savor these small hours that you have with the people who are dear to you. Thanks for listening to my little ramble if you've read this far.

It did the same for me! It was my go to for inspiration! I'd watch it repeatedly for days.
Same feeling.
Man this made me tear up. ❤
Everytime I hear this song I tear up because it reminds me of my childhood. I love Meet the Robinsons😭
Omg same 😭
Same here 😢😢
Rewatching this as an adult it hits different 😢 Appreciate and cherish The small things in life everybody
I thought about this movie out of the blue. Maybe because I've been feeling nostalgic lately and reminded of this movie's message to keep moving forward. Sighs I miss the old days.
You do see the irony, right?
This is my brothers favorite Disney movie. Sadly my brother passed & watching this makes me think of him! ✨
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
Rest in peace 🙏 to him ain’t nothing worse in life then losing a brother he’ll be waiting for you on the other side 🤝😎
sending all the love in my heart to ya
I’m so sorry, May he rest in paradise
hope you're alright
I first watched this movie when I was 7. Now I'm almost 17 and I still love this movie.
same here..
Same here, almost 18 actually but when this movie came out I was in a really bad situation and didn't have hope I always hoped to have a good future and now I'm going to college in the fall and I have my boyfriend with me.
+Diego Strässler That's good! At least things are turning for the better.
+Jakob Thompson thank you :) how are you ?
+Diego Strässler Still struggling. A friend commited suicide so that isnt helping... but I'm sure it will get better. I just have to be patient. :)
This song really helps me cope whenever I'm under the weather. This song always saves me whenever I don't know what to do anymore. I really appreciate this.
" Let It Go "
Move out of the way, Frozen. Meet The Robinsons did it first.
You would not believe the amount of people that think i'm singing frozen when I sing this song out loud.
hahah, ditto
Heck yas
And with a deeper meaning than just building a wall to hide your feelings.
"Let It Go" is about hiding from your problems. This is about facing them and pushing past them. That's why Meet the Robinsons >> Frozen imo
Probably one of my favourite movie! I could watch this all day and never get tired of it!
Same here

Not my favorite but it was an amazing movie 🥰
When this movie came out my son and I watched this and sang along to this song almost daily...for years... This was his favorite movie. Daddy Loves You, Bear! Keep Moving Forward!
dady loves you son "Keep moving forward" trillions of regards from here ❤
When Disney was still creative and inspirational
True
omg yess but I'm talking about like Frozen adn the Good Dinosaur. Tbh I personally believe that they are overrated and rushed.
idk I felt like Frozen had a good plot and wonderful soundtrack but I felt like the whole thing was rushed. The Good Dinosaur had a good plot as well but it was really rushed and had a lot of forced humor and I never really got to connect with the characters in it
+Diana Sanchez Well they're sort of redeeming that quality in Zootopia, boy lemme tell ya
+Iskandar TheRider zootopia was a bad movie
This helped me so much as a kid when I didn’t even realize it. The meaning behind this song & movie is so powerful
why is it that all the great disney movies are so under-rated!
+xXDrawingLuverXx reminds me of nintendo games XD
+Alpna V Some people just don't know how to appreciate a great story
Sometimes they are made when disney is going through a rut.
True because I love this movie plus Brother Bear and Brave.
@@mistweety25 ohhh Brother Bear was sooo good too! Thanks for reminding me to rewatch it!
Avery Jenson ,,,,, What about "Up"?
Sanity I kind of think of Pixar as something separate; Disney's in-house stuff and Pixar both have different styles on how they make movies. I do like Up though; not sure if I would say it's a favorite, but it's really good.
That and your kill La Kill Picture makes you doubly awesome
I can't believe how eye-to-eye you and I see!
One of Disney's most underrated movies and honestly tiny bits of it reminds me of back to the future for some reason
I might have to start doing This lol
The fact that he always wanted to build the time machine so that he could go back in time to ask his mother why did she leave him, but didn't at the end, made this movie such a special one.
He realised that what his mother did shaped his life to be a better one, thus asking her would ruin it all.
He really "Let It Go" and did "Keep Moving Forward".
This song has a true meaning. The movie was awesome, and this song really makes the movie even greater. Keep moving forward everyone. Don't let the little things mess with your life. Live your dreams.
Yeah :') but it seems like it's not popular :(
Since I was a small kid until now I come back to this song because it reminds me of my childhood even if I'm not that old yet. I miss the times when we our family lived together in our old house and I'd play and be carefree not stressed from anything. If I could come back from the past, I'd want to tell myself to cherish these moments because what we love will not last forever.
that's a beautiful comment. time to make your own loving home with children who look to you as you did to your own.
I remember watching this with my mom when she bought this movie and I just remember me crying so hard at the end cause it made me so happy that Luis/Louis/Lewis got a happy ending, especially Goob when he got a family and caught the baseball oml im still crying over this..
You know, I'll bet this would have even brought a tear to Walt Disney's eye.
Aw that was such a good movie.
Yep.
It's been forever since I've seen it though. XD
+Eddie Miller that's a good bet
First watched this when I was 13. The same year my family and I migrated to Australia. I remember the song being played when we arrived at the Sydney Airport. Still remember feeling so afraid, so small yet hopeful and excited at the same time. Everytime I hear this song I get reminded of that memory at the airport and all the emotions that made my heart beat like a drum. I've never heard of any other song that has the same effect on me in the 23 years that I've been alive. This song will forever be my favorite
Where did you move from? (Just curious) I actually moved to the US when I was 13, and right around the time this movie came out.

Thia movie has it all to be a classic. Is really so underrated. I wish more people, especially kids, to see this beautiful movie.

I recently lost my college to bankruptcy and this movie was a movie that my friends and I watched in my dorm. I am about to start school at my new college and this song makes me thing of my memories at my old college. R.I.P Judson College 🕯💔
bankruptcy while in college, sheesh
its been 10 years and it still never gets old
This movie was so emotional for me. This song really hit me in the feels... I love listening to it now that I'm older and need to remind myself that everything happens for a reason, that we need to just let things roll off our backs, take a deep breathe, and realize we're still alive. That no matter what, we'll be just fine
This was my father’s favorite Disney movie. He sadly passed away in 2015, but every time I hear this song, I think of him.
A friend of mine dedicate me this song after the loss of my first son, Im still dancing this song with my other 2 baby's.....full of tears
time goes by so fast.
I tear up every time I hear this song. Such a moving song & movie.
This song makes me cry everytime but good feels
Let it go
Let it roll right off your shoulder
Don't you know?
The hardest part is over
Let it in
Let your clarity define you
In the end
We will only just remember how it feels
Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders
These twists and turns of fate
Time falls away
But these small hours
These small hours
Still remain
Let it slide
Let your troubles fall behind you
Let it shine
'Til you feel it all around you
And I don't mind
If it's me you need to turn to
We'll get by
It's the heart that really matters in the end
Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders
These twists and turns of fate
Time falls away
But these small hours
These small hours
Still remain
All of my regret
Will wash away somehow
But I cannot forget
The way I feel right now
In these small hours
These little wonders
These twists and turns of fate
Yeah, these twists and turns of fate
Time falls away
Yeah, but these small hours
And these small hours
Still remain
Yeah, oh, oh
Oh, they still remain
These little wonders
Oh, these twists and turns of fate
Time falls away
But these small hours
These little wonders
Still remain

I always cry during this song no matter if I'm depressed this song always gets me back in it :')
Bruh finding this song after so long...and the editing of this vid...this RUINED me. In a good way. Crying tears to pride rn. Thank you.
THIS IS WHAT PREVENTS CHILDREN FROM MAKING THEIR DREAMS.

I literally just finished watching this movie for the first time in full and I was almost in tears! this was the perfect song choice to close the movie, the lyrics just go perfectly with the movie
