My assumption is that the whole Wesley Snipes v. Ryan Reynolds feud started because as a Canadian Ryan felt the need to inform Wesley that ice skating up hill isn’t really a challenge at all.
The joke when he grabs the camera, suck it Fox, I'm going to Disney land, and literally breaks the 4th wall reminds me so much of Deadpool's match victory animation in MVC3.

I wish the ending with Logan and Laura at Wade's party was a bit longer. It was a callback to the dinner scene in Logan where it's the first time you see everyone being happy, with Charles telling Logan that this is what it's like to be a part of a family. In a way, they're fulfilling Xavier's last wish with Logan and Laura finding a family. I wish they gave that a bit more time for the Logan fans to take that in. I think they should have explained anchor beings as the ones who caused the timeline to branch in the first place. And once the cause of the timeline branch is gone, the timeline fades away.
Fun fact X-23/laura keeps her sunglasses as a reminder and memory of her father so there always connected and helps her feel connected to him to cope with his death
They also serve as kind of a "mask" for her. Seeing the actors eyes has always been a thing and we're getting Logan's first run in the mask in this film, too. I bet the next time we see Laura she's going to have a suit and mask, too.
It makes sense because it's the Russos returning. Hero that sacrificed becomes the villain next movie, pretty classic story trope. I bet Marvel wasn't planning on doing that before they got the Russos back and just go along with their plan.

Did anyone realize that the film starts off with Wade jamming to Bye Bye Bye, the same song that Logan immediately turned off the radio for in X-2? I’m sure it was unintentional but I still think it does a great job at immediately juxtapositioning Wade and Logan.
MoM fell short in the “cameo” fan service department in comparison to NWH and D&P in that the latter two CARED for the cameos. They made them an integral part of the film. the Illuminati in MoM had the potential to be a love letter to the fans of the inhuman show, fans of fox x-men, fans of Hayley Atwell, and fans who had been fan-casting Krasinski since the dawn of time. Instead they used them for 10 minutes and completely disrespected all those fans
I'm hoping for some kind of "Leavy cut" (called that intentionally for marketing). Something like Deadpool is pissed that the movie didn't make $1B and makes Leavy re-cut the movie with more Wolverine scenes, extended appearances from the special guest stars, new cameos, etc.
It is correct that Logan died in 2029 but the TVA exists outside of all time, timelines and branched realities so they see all time happening at the same time in all branched realities not just the point in time (2024) of the characters like Deadpool, Vanessa, colossus,Blind Ale, Buck etc. so Deadpool was probably pulled from (2024) but because the TVA sees all time happening at the exact same time, Logan died and from the moment he died in 2029 the branched reality started dying. That’s why Deadpool used the TVA tempad to go forward in his time to dig up Logan’s corps.
I've not seen it mentioned anywhere but there a nod to Ghost Rider when the resistance drove into Cassandra Nova's base. When they drove through the flames, the car's wheels caught fire for a moment making it look the way Ghost Rider's bike does.

The sling ring was not a regular sling ring - it had pieces of the Time & Reality Stones on it (which typical sling rings don't have) and able to teleport through universes and time, so doesn't seem like Donny Blaze would have that. Otherwise, a cool theory.
Loved the movie best marvel film I’ve seen in years. As far as cameos go I loved all of them and I think they chose the right cameos that wouldn’t overshadow the main characters. Nicholas Cage Ghost rider and Liev Schrieber’s Sabertooth would’ve been my cameo picks. But, they prolly would’ve taken away from the story and blade for me was evident of that when I was constantly wondering if we would see him again.
Didn’t get to see this live but great stream! I feel like in general there were a few writing shortcuts which is ironic given Ryan’s “that’s lazy writing” jokes in the past. As you said the gravity of each of their emotional triumphs was lost with lack of detail (I wonder if TJ Miller not coming back made them stay away from Deadpool’s side more) but also some of the other conflict resolutions like Peterpool both times seemed too quick and easy. Overall amazing and enjoyable movie though that I’ll obviously see again!
They might do the Doom Downey Jr by having Tony be seriously injured when trying to escape from the Cave in Iron Man 1, leading to horrible scarring on his face and the world thinking he is dead, the dark dread of the pain causes him to go slowly insane as he murders his captors in cold blood and fights his way home rebuilding his empire using hidden offshore accounts and returning as Dr Doom where he swears revenge on the world.
I’d say the only part that looked distracting about the Wolverine cowl is the shot of the D & W running towards the Deadpool corp. we see the back of Deadpool and Wolverine but Wolverine’s cow looks exaggeratedly big and blurry.
Its kind of a theme that’s going on in MCU with F&F style endings where everybody’s enjoying a good family time. Are they setting up some calm before storm kind of thing.
I LOVED this movie. I would say it is a 9.5/10. I am not a fan of the idea of anchor beings though. I mean, the universe was fine before Wolverine was born after all.. I don't know. I mean, I guess the TVA being outside of time means it doesn't matter, but still. And then like does the Sacred Time line have an anchor being? Is that then Iron Man and is the Sacred Timeline now screwed? It just is too messy. And what about if they naturally die of old age? I get that they needed a way to move the story in Deadpool & Wolverine forward, but that is why it isn't a 10/10 for me. In the what if story, Demon in the Armor, technically Victor Von Doom's mind went into Tony's body though, so that works. I don't know if it is "too comic booky" or not, but I think it could be a great story to see on the big screen. We'll see though. The 5'3" Wolverine.. man, I really hope people stop complaining about actors being too tall. 5'3" is ridiculously small and how silly that looked on screen I hope people realize they just don't really want it.

What I understood was void could have variants from different universes. So skeleton Wolverine and adult X-23 each of them might be from different universes. Like let's say 10003 and 10004 universes. This theory explains characters having same face or different face according to how adjacent universes are. Like for example 616-615-614 universes might Tom Holland looking Spideys and Tobey is from let's say 919 universe.
I hoped for more connection to the MCU and not as funny as previous films and the Deadpool Corps were a letdown for me even though NiceGuy Deadpool was hilarious...Best parts were Logan and Wades chemistry, action scenes were incredible and the surprise characters and seeing Logan and Laura together was magical...I think The Void Avengers as i call them were the best Avengers team..
Deadpool didnt have cables time device once he got to the TVA he says when he asked if he is there for playing with time that he made some stuff right, brought a couple ppl back to life then destroyed the device.
Look wise i think the actor playing The Deep in The Boys will look good as Gambit. Give him a similar to Tatum's but less shiny costume, change the color of the eye balls. Channing Tatum is too bulky for Gambit aestheticly.

I hoped for more connection to the MCU and not as funny as previous films and the Deadpool Corps were a letdown for me even though NiceGuy Deadpool was hilarious...Best parts were Logan and Wades chemistry, action scenes were incredible and the surprise characters and seeing Logan and Laura together was magical...I think The Void Avengers as i call them were the best Avengers team..

Look wise i think the actor playing The Deep in The Boys will look good as Gambit. Give him a similar to Tatum's but less shiny costume, change the color of the eye balls. Channing Tatum is too bulky for Gambit aestheticly.
