- Over a year ago, 6-8-23, I made a trip to Triple Play Vintage in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. I had a two hundred dollar budget, and I got there with a nice batch of rookie cards, including the 1971 Bert Blyleven, 1976 Dennis Eckersley, and 1967 Leroy Kelly.
I upload a TTM video on Mondays, and I upload an autograph and/or trading card video on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Nice pick ups. Great finds with those HOF RCs
That signed sheet is awesome Nice pick ups all around
Awesome pick ups. I'm from Lorain and been wanto get out there some day soon.
Wow what a amazing haul Math congrats thanks for sharing 💯👍
@@Cali_Collector75 Thank you. That LCS never ceases to surprise me.
Great video and fantastic haul. The Koufax card with the facial hair was my favorite. lol. Congrats on the great pickups and thanks for sharing.
@@AngryOldManTTM I wonder how old the person was who drew facial hair on the players. I gifted that card to somebody who likes that type of stuff.
Great haul! I love the Dwight Evans DK!
@@patricksbaseballcards Thank was a nice find along with the other signed cards on that sheet.
Look at the RC lot. Digging the Eck and Blyleven rcs. Great football rcs led by the Steve Young.
Great vintage cards hidden in there as well. Sanguillen and Brooks Robinson and Mickey Vernon, Julio Franco, Dwight Evans. That was a great deal. Enjoyed.
@@vintagecardssteve8582 I really had a nice trip. I found so many nice rookie cards. Those autographed cards were a great find as well.
Great TTM fuel
Jim Gentile passed away a few years ago
Leroy Kelly's Brother played in the 79 WS Against your Pirates.Pat Kelly had made some inflammatory comments against the Pirates which they used as motivation to win games 5,6, and 7
Great autograph sheet.Franco never played for the Padres,That's a Texas uniform
Danny Cater traded from NYY To Boston for Sparky Lyle, who coincidentally ended his career as a Phillie
The Yankees had a play by play announcer when Cater played for them and If Cater would strike out
The play by play announcer would say "See ya later Danny Cater",which of course is a play on Words
"See ya later alligator 🐊"
Russ Grimm,Pitt Panther
Loved the 1970 NYM World Champion Team card as my favorite, being a life long Mets Fan
Great video as usual!
Thanks for sharing!
@@PaulSmolowitz-ok8ux I envy your baseball knowledge, and I appreciate the quirkiness of hearing what happened when Danny Cater would strike out. I did not know that was Leroy Kelly’s brother. I’m totally cool with him talking that snack if it helped motivate the pirates a little more. I am mailing that 1970 Mets card to Bobby Pfeil next week.
Great day at the card shop. I'm going with the nine pocket page loaded with all the autos. I think that's an awesome pickup for the price you paid. Have a nice 4th.
@@lynnkruse3231 I was very happy when I saw those nine autographed cards. I wasn’t going to leave without them. I hope you have a nice 4th as well.
Howdy math ! Nice Scores. Leroy Kelly is one of my favorite RB's. In todays episode, my Pop has Johnny Briggs & Harry Bright autos. Nice 9 pocket full of autos. C ya Bowler !
@@SouvenirProgramsHere I look forward to watching your most recent show. I’m a little behind on videos, but I will check it out. Have a nice Fourth of July.
Bucyk and Kelly very nice
@@craiglammers7177 Oh yes. Nice little TTM finds. I actually just sent to Bucyk last week.
That Koufax / Bunning / Veale looks very familiar. 😂🤣That autograph page was a nice find.
@@ReindeerStudios I remember seeing that card and thinking of you. I was pretty sure that I handed that off to you, but it’s been a while. I have a bad habit of banking videos and showing them quite a bit after the fact.
@@mathbowler2782 you did gift it to me.
Good stuff indeed!
@@KoZsWastingMoney Thank you. It was a nice trip to a far away LCS.
Wow! Loved these pickups!! Love the Dawson auto at the end! Sweet Bert’s and Ecks too! I would love to get the 70s for that price! Let me know next time when you are going and I would pay you for the cards and your time do dig out some 70s!!! Either way super cool pickups Steven!
@@basementcardcollector I probably wouldn’t even charge you for the cards (unless they were expensive). I know they would be going to a true collector. That being said, if you ever want to send me a list, go for it.
@@mathbowler2782 I don’t have almost any 70, 71, 72s. I have a start on all other 73-79. I have at least a stack of 74s. I would totally pay you for them man! I just haven’t found that stretch of years for that price. If it works out for you, it’s cool, just let me know the cost.
Solid haul dude
@@cashdadspackbusters1877 Thank you. I definitely found a lot of random goodies.
@@mathbowler2782 thats a fact
That young is legit
@@cashdadspackbusters1877 I had a tough time turning thatcard down. I remember that card costing twice as much about 20 years ago.
Sorry
I was mistaken Jim Gentile is still living
I got him confused with another Oriole from that time
@@PaulSmolowitz-ok8ux No problem. I think the last time that I looked into sending him some cards he was taking a little break from it. Maybe that card will be sent out at some point.
Hey hey
@@cashdadspackbusters1877 This is random, but I was very tempted to greet a friend as brotato chip.
@@mathbowler2782 you should have haha
have you tried getting keith hernandez ttm?
@@TonyBlack574 I’ve never even considered him. That’s because I didn’t know he signed.
@@mathbowler2782 he’s a past pros guy
