The Bee Gees played the demo for Kenny to see if he would like to use it for one of the songs on the album they were working on with him. But Kenny thought it would be better as a duet and wanted it to be Dolly, who said yes. So they rewrote it to fit their voices.

Hi ladies , Im certainly not the biggest country fan but Dolly and Kenny didn’t just fit into that 1 genre , great voices , great personalities and class act nice vid and reaction , if you get chance not as a reaction vid just for yourselves look at another big country star Tammy Wynette and KLF from early 90’s crazy times for music with acid house and dance music taking a grip but she had a big hit with it so she had her finger on the pulse even if she didn’t know what the heck it was all about 🤣🤣
