I feel like in THALL music, vocals is just another instrument, rather than vocals in it's traditional meaning in other genres. Filip matches the criteria perfectly with his dark, deep growl

People will point out all these little things when describing what THALL is to people. It's this pattern, it's these chords, it's these feel. But I'll tell you what it is, at it's core. It's groove. THALL grooves love a mother fucker. As far as I'm concerned, if ya groovin, you THALLin. Praise THALL

to me, thall is basically the culmination of all the things that exist in metal (death metal, prog metal/djent, black metal, sludge, slam, deathcore etc), which births a very unreal and out-of-existence, really god-like kind of style which has no creative boundaries . It has a very nature feel to it as well, as if it's metal music for mother nature and it's beauty and horror.

@@Furykidxxx Calle is the mastermind behind Vildhjarta. Buster didn't join Vildhjarta until 2015. The production and drums definitely got a ton better because of him though.

personnally I just love the oppressive, and almost claustrophobic of the song, the ambience on this is really dark (as always with their music), but I don't know why, it sounds like a different way

for me it´s funny how one dares to judge or rate something like this.
One might have heard something like this or that before.
For me Ashen has to be considered in the whole.
The overall aesthetics, the sound(design), the compositions, etc...everything is on a different level.
After listening Metal for 45 years, Ashen is, at least for me, untouchable.
One of the best albums in any genre.

EXACTLY the same thing. The first time i ever listened to HLB was Earthless and it was an immediate turnoff......Until i found Vildhjarta and it ALL changed. Now it's ruined my music tastes forever it's all i can stand now
