    Such great instructions! I get it. Also, the lesson sets the foundation for reading multi-shaft drafts. Thank you.

    Thank you, Kelly for explaining the drafts. I bought a beginning heddle weaving book that has drafts in it, and I could not understand it. Your video has helped immensely!

    Great intro to reading drafts Kelly. Understanding this info first, makes reading drafts with more shafts easier by far.

    Thank you for explaining this!
    I've been wondering how to read drafts and how it can be used for my rigid heddle loom.

    but what about 4 shaft drafts? If i don't have a second heddle, i assume i'd use pickup sticks but i'm still not sure how i would thread the heddles at that point

    So interesting my rigid heddle has the ability to use 5-6 heddles how many shafts will this make for me 😊 thank you love you videos 👍

    • @KellyCasanova
      @KellyCasanova  3 года назад

      That would mean 6 - 7 shafts for you, depending on how you decided to set up and on the pattern requirements.

    If I understand your video correctly, than are number 1 is the ched Up and number 2 is the ched down? (on the RHL)

    • @KellyCasanova
      @KellyCasanova  3 года назад +1

      Correct - at least, that is the way that I thread the rigid heddle loom. Some will thread the opposite way.

    Thank you! Is there a good online site for patterns, drafted this way, for up to 4 heddles?

    • @KellyCasanova
      @KellyCasanova  3 года назад +1

      Handweaving.net has a lot of drafts. The Handweaver's Pattern Directory by Anne Dixon is am excellent book.
