sorry this took so long. was struggling a bit with motivation. hope to have the next thing, whatever it may be, take less time. of course, it'll be a smaller project than this beast.
reclaiming entropy section recorded entirely with acoustic instruments. thought youd appreciate that.
if you'd like, i would appreciate if you listened to more of my stuff. i have more rain world remixes to offer!

i adore this, i cant remember the sundown leitmotif very well because of how long it is and the pauses between the notes, but everytime i hear it i recognize it immediantly
the music video fit perfectly, the sudden breakcore was neat, the *small* taste of reclaiming entropy in the interlude was amazing (its acoustic version was indeed greatly appreciated), and oh god, the immense weight put behind deep light's final notes made me shiver, this video must have taken so many cycles to create
this was like a trip down memory lane, thank you for making this (nice tree btw)

i've seen many rainworld remixes before, but my goodness, this one is probably the best one i've ever heard. great job!
the song that i’ve been trying to find what mod made my menu screen sound cool:
hell yeah
Randomly writing for each of these.
Sundown - Beyond the outer confines of what the eye allows to see, a world distant of ours, reality shifted from a simple belief, into something bigger, the sunlight peering through thickened clouds of steam, an ecosystem born of machine, and as the hours tick on, the rain begins to rumble the world, sundown occurs, the cycle continues on...
Pictures of the past - Stripped away from your original family, thrown into the world of unknown with little help, you strive to survive these foreign lands of metal and rust, however, a true spirit of a Survivor lives on in you.
Moondown - A fallen goddess, washed ashore, wave after wave, the equipment goes to decay, however, preservation remains abound, dragging through the pain.
Reflection of the moon - Mirror of ticking clock hands, infinite hours to spare, yet none at all used, rapidly dying, yet so far from it aswell.
Random Gods - Faith of many, yet also the downfall, a technological innovation left behind in a land far forgotten, rotting... Scared and confused, angered, desperate. They put the faith into the hands of him, and now they endure till the end.
Deep Light - From the instructions of a dying god, the gift of understanding, the attunement acquired, you fought through it all, the endless cycle now broken, what may you find beyond?
The Cycle - A dream, a journey, a rejection, a loop, endlessly repeating, never truly free are we, yet also never imprisoned, but perhaps... Thats why you need to wake up, little visitor.
Reclaiming Entropy - Soft chords of million words, a harsh tundra roaring yet again, awaken in a familiar place, yet never truly awake, frail and armed with a long tongue... A bitter purpose in the grand scheme.

Absolutely beautifully done. My favorite part was 100% The Cycle. The way you did your Pictures of the Past remix made it sound so different from the base game, and yet it still sounded so familiar. And then reclaiming entropy being a more instrumental cover as opposed to the more digital covers of the previous songs, it was the perfect cherry on top to the whole thing. Peak music
I've ascended. Literally the best thing I've ever heard in my life 😭
Why is all you do always composed of not just music, but love and beauty as well? Incredible job. That very last bit hit me harder than expected, after the journey you took me on with this.
Loved hearing bits and pieces of this with the mod, but hearing it all together is unlike anything else. Amazing job as always with this one.

Here for Random Gods, stayed for an epic Pictures of the Past.
Also kinda funny that you drop this now cause I'm actually about to release a Random Gods remix probably within the next month.

My favorite part was the beginning of moondown. That whirring sound that played the leitmotif reminded me of a damaged machine, it’s servos and processors are still alive but slowly losing power.

ORIGINAL TEXT:
Genuinamente, no conozco tanto Rainworld, no lo he completado del todo y tampoco te conozco a tí, lo poco que sé de tí es; "i used to just lay on the floor and feel like garbage". Tiendo a oír tus remixes .
No,
"Pictures of the Past" a tu versión casi me hace lagrimear.
¿"Thanks to all"? No, gracias a tí.
ON GOOGLE TRANSLATE (ENGLISH):
Genuinely, I don't know Rainworld that much, I haven't completed it completely and I don't know you either, the little I know about you is; "I used to lie on the floor and feel like trash." I tend to listen to your remixes .
When I play video games with friends; They are the ones that inspire the most because of how loud they are.
When I role play with friends; They are the ones that feel the deepest.
When I'm simply writing; I feel like I'm writing the second installment of a super important book.
When I listen to your music to do something, it inspires me. That's right, gasoline; I have rarely found that hint of "strong" that most songs have... Not heavy metal, not rock, not the things that I have heard for years. But your remix? Being that I only know 3 or 2 from Rainworld?
TW: Maybe spoilers, I guess.
I recently started playing Rainworld with my 40+ year old stepfather out of curiosity and he really loves the game, we have finished almost all the campaigns and we only need "El Santo".
I have done so many role plays, where spiritual themes have been touched on in a silly way, because I am a teenager, I don't know everything and I am looking for entertainment! But seeing in a game the most similar to the Underworld, artificial technologies... Does it matter how I feel about this? No,
"Images from the Past" your version almost makes me cry. Well, even though I'm still young, I remember my good circle of friends where we always played Terraria non-stop, day and night! Nowadays it is no longer and it could be. But remember when my stepfather and I fell for the first time into this simple world of a cat... You add that depth with how the melody escalates, the enigmatic world that lies behind, I don't know how to describe music, or emotions, but it genuinely feels... amazing! Those "bells of calamity" and the video showing the simplicity of such an extensive world, which the player is just yet to discover...! Because, your extension does NOT stop there, but CONTINUES to open melody in the great technologies of the game and the lowest and most hidden parts of it! With that light Shoreline melody invading the intensity of the game because most of us know who lies there, the story...
Luna's calm melody and what's really going on inside her, like the quick comedown in "Random Gods"... You made it feel quite enigmatic, much more computerized, and even with that slight "beat" that I think I hear, much more human at the same time. Because in part, that's what they are if I'm not confused. And see those sections that terrified me and that with my stepfather, who, with a great age difference, we watched with interest and he even theorized based on all the games he previously played, that I didn't even know about! And then, that climax where our skin crawled and we didn't know how to go here, or there, that great space where your melody spreads and the sudden encounter that left us scared at the beginning. You made it feel much more like a seesaw, even more so with that little bell at the end.
"Random Gods, Rubicon"? I hadn't heard or seen it, I don't care if it's a spoiler, just hearing this, believe me, it's worth it! I know a little about the depth of the saint and, although it is the sixth time that I am going to watch this video again, jumping from the little white cat to the "liberator of life" interspersing scenes with the game to introduce us to a "montage" where he does his work , we see the recognized areas of different places... Wow, I didn't know almost anything about this part. But it gives it an incredible depth that it is so intense, the end of the journey and the more we advance, the calmer we become in an increasingly violent world. And even in the face of adversity, the Saint can rest on what seems like a coast... And then, the calm and the rain; what perhaps some of us have desired in part, that simplicity. But also the complexity introduces us to a super-extensive world... Which was just a difficult game of a cat in a strange ecosystem.
Those bells in the background that make you feel the interludes that were in the Calamity OST, that tranquility, "the rain before the catastrophe", that's how it feels. See those beautiful wastelands that although I don't like them that much, because they are such complex levels! Even so, your curious way of capturing that up and down, like that path where the boss is not an enemy, but rather our resilience to the goal we long to achieve. It's incredible to write this while I hear once again your invention, those low and distant bells... Memories, because they are like two totally opposite melodies crossed, you did it really well.
And after so much travel, I'm back there. The cycle making my skin crawl once again, the images of those endings that I managed to achieve with my partner, captured in an almost cinematic way, and seeing the saint once again, lost in the labyrinth of his free will in this world for nothing. Breaking limits to achieve someone else's goal, but not ashamed of it either. And then, Pebbles and Moon together... I didn't know it, but what a joy to see them like this; It makes my skin crawl, the music, how you placed the scene, its dialogues... So much sadness and- That quick jump, I had never heard the instrumental version.
Dystopian, isn't it? Because in Luna's position at that time it seems like an effervescent memory, of something that may never happen, the visit of a simple creature to its place again... To then jump again, with that guitar to see the steel eyes reflected in the oblivious for one last moment, with that guitar and a view of simplicity once again. So dramatic, so joyful, so intense; see the views above Luna again, those beautiful landscapes that you have allowed me to enjoy with better melody. And- end with those views, of a simple white cat in nothingness, that spearman in his climax, and him... returning.
"Thanks to all"? Not thanks to you.
You don't know how long I've waited to hear another remix of yours, even if I only follow you on RUclips and my "fanaticism" seems false.
But every time I am lucky enough to come across one of your remixes, I can shake my head intensely, or go deeper with that climax in Shoreline, even in Kayava, thinking about the depth of the game and that thanks to your remixes, I would long to play it again.
You have incredible ability, or at least in my case; You are the only one who made me feel the melodies of this game MUCH more mystical than they could be.
You've done a great job once again, and let me tell you that it won't be the first time I've written a text (that was me, a minute ago. Because I didn't think the song would be so long)
Greetings from Argentina, it is a pleasure to hear your inventions.

This is fantastic. The sundown leitmotif is something very special. I do have to ask; was it a deliberate choice not to give Lost City, Random Fate, Satellite and Sparkling Pendulum their own sections in the suit? I assume probably because it only adds an overwhelming amount of work to do, but I am just curious.
most of those were because i didnt know how to fit them into it. i wouldve been able to add lost city. but lost city does not have the sundown leitmotif
@@qwertzuwu Fair enough. Cohesive storytelling is always better than adding everything in just for adding everything in's sake. I think the selection you chose and the order that it is presented in works extremely well. Well done!
Oh! As for Lost City, the sundown leitmotif begins about 30 seconds into the song. I don't know enough about music to be able to describe it. It's the bit that sounds vaguely like a brass instrument. Or maybe not. It could just be my ears playing tricks on me too.
Beside that, excellent work!

idk if it's just me but the calamity bells kind of put me out of it? i feel like especially ingame with the mod it would really break the immersion to me. really good remixes though
what
@@qwertzuwu it is REALLY difficult to describe what exactly it is about the bells that take me out of the experience. i think that something about the rain world soundtrack that makes it fit the world so well and root me in my immersion is the fact that it's so different to any other kind of video game music, & the presence of such an obvious allusion to another games' soundtrack just loses the connection there? there's also the way that the bells are used in the calamity soundtrack (in boss fights mostly, to enhance the frantic feeling of urgency, as if each bell ring is a countdown to your death) and in this (because it sounds cool, and as a calamity reference)
sorry for yapping i just REALLY like the rain world soundtrack
kind of the same way as if there was an action movie song while there are threats on screen, sure it definitely works in certain contexts, and on paper this is a context in which it works, but there's something lost there
@@texasred8424 so just. dont install the mod. this wasnt made to be in rain world, it was made to be a standalone thing. and... tubular bells. theyre tubular bells. sure, i like calamity, but i also like the bell sound. not because i want to reference calamity. because. i like. the bells.
