- I think this mod was going to fly under the radar since it had no workshop images, but it really deserves some recognition since it did an amazing job at interpreting what Metropolis would look like in Rivulet's campaign!

hey, mod maker froglover here, i never expected that you would play my mod, because i thought it would just fall into obscurity. I do plan to change the dialogue of the echo at some point but i am not sure how yet, also you are correct, the train lizard was from some other mod, although i kinda like the idea of having a powerful enemy in that room so i might add a mother long legs in there at some point... thanks for playing!

@@Duckersssss I was afraid of your mod falling into obscurity too, but it really doesn't deserve it since you clearly put a lot of thought into every room and it shows (even the shelters have rot...).

I am aware that I didn't show every part of it (I know there are miros birds too X.x) but I'll leave the rest for people to explore! ^^

Update:They became blue-ish and weirdly enough they are wiggling around
Update 2:Oh God they became indigo and size of a water bottle and they are across my chair

I like this, I've been wondering what was happening to Metropolis while Five Pebbles' rot worsens. I like how the rot makes some rooms more challenging while also making some rooms more traversable for rivulet.

I love how you absolutely refuse to take the grapple worm the whole duration of your visit.
I am still hoping that a modder blesses us with something that converts the grapple worm into the saint tongue mechanics >.

Oh Ancients poor Pebbles-
The Train Lizard is indeed another mod it's from the "Open Exclusive Regions" mod. Good to see the two play nice and honestly is the only worry I had. It also gives Pearlcat a better opening as it gives you on hell of an opponent to test both teleportation and pipe shielding to get you and your pup safely by. The mask and pearl are new for sure looks like I have new all pearls run to do!
That explains why one of my pearlcat runs had a Train Lizard but others didnt. That mod was to blame! I had it active for a short time because one of my Monk Playthroughs bugged out and I couldnt get to the outer expanse despite beating Gorumand like 3 times lol

@@sixwolf124Actually, train lizard is in ONE of the campaigns in İndustrial complex but it's a huge spoiler.

the pearl is a placeholder for now, i think its just the outer expanse pearl but eventually i plan to have it be a custom pearl, but it will probabbly take a while because im a very new mod maker and im not sure how i do that, and also i have started to work on my region mod but it will happen eventually!
This mod for rivulet, the slugcat itself specifically seems like rivulet, but they mega evolved.
Some scavenger probably mistook a mega-stone for a cool rock and threw it a little too hard at Rivulet.

13:57 You know that one room in outskirts before the toll with a deep pit into wormgrass? Saw a droprig on the left part at the bottom, its funny cause if it tried to get something i can guarantee 90% of the time it wouldn’t end well for it

During Saint it is probably just ruins, I even have seen some destroyed buildings on top of the Silent Construct

from the description it looks like theyre using a simplified movement mod so that might impact it

@@outspade yea its definently simplified moveset, but if you were quick enough you could do an instant slidepounce, but it's awfully hard to do

This mod is really cool, and I've always wanted to know what a rotten metropolis would look like! Although I think it would be even cooler if it changed the color palette to make the rot stand out a bit less, and had more broken down and collapsed buildings.
I used this mod and it was very much awesome, they didn’t overdo it and I like the idea it was suffering the rot aswell,
Also someday I’m gonna make a cosmetic mod with EVERY kaiju paradise character (a Roblox game) first I’ll make people’s favorite goos (slimepups shork kaiju nightcrawler Saturn) and make the least known goos last, then I’ll make gootrax costumes unreleased/upcoming goos scrapped goos and cancelled goos and release them slowly over time, it would be a massive task but I think it would be awesome

watched the intro and i think this new metropolis could really use a pallette change similarly to rivulet's the wall methinks
the idea of all of those poor barely survived scavvies dying during pebbles' collapse makes me sad :(
loved this!! keep it up, Rain World videos never get old and I love when people add their commentary in text on screen it just so perfectly fits the aesthetic of the game :)

it took me 2nd saint play through to realise that silent construct is also part of metropolis
its interesting to see the rot building up to metropolis as well
This mod is very cool! Though I wish they made the karma gate not have the one karma symbol, and instead made it have proto rot that was making it malfunctioning, allowing for it to randomly open and close

Lizard randomizer mixed with room, enemy, and item rando killed the game for me when going through certain pipes so :^

Hey, I noticed that the 2 colored pearls were still around! Maybe try bringing them to moon and seeing if she has any dialogue for them!
she does, you can see if it you spawn in metropolis in expedition as survivor/monk [or spawn them in in any other campaign where you can visit moon]
@@soaricarusYep! When I spawned in Metropolis as Survivor on Expedition I pretty much sidetracked my entire mission to get those to Moon lol

I think the only thing that bothers me about this is the color palette used. If we have rot, I don't like the lively city colors would stick around? But that's just my opinion.

There was a problem with path finding for daddy's long legs. I guess it's because it was never generated for this area or because of gravity.
Could you show what night looks like?
I spent a lot of time there and it didn't go dark, but that might have been because I have longer Rivulet cycles enabled soo... hmm...

Yeah, this mod substantially raises the skill level needed to traverse the region, which is pretty cool in my opinion!
It isn't part of the campaign after all so, why not have it as an optional side challenge :)

Why do you hate scavs so much? They are one of my favorite creatures, it would be more helpful so that you can have scav gangs to kill vultures for you.
I actually love scavs, because when I play as spearmaster it's easy to befriend them :)
I don't like them blocking my paths though :S

@@lolight2 I believe there should be an opposite to the artificer, the chieftain. It would be locked at max reputation, but it would take place around the saint timeline. I think this would be a time where scavengers have gone through and taken over the map, but there is still dangers.
