    My #1 Narc Rule = I give zero personal information to these people. No opinions about anything. No reactions/no emotions. They weaponize everything against you.
    Everything is "wrong" with everybody else. I've found that even giving your address is a mistake. Because then your house is too small or too big. Or you're too poor or too rich. Or there's something wrong with the city you live. Or so-and-so has this house/stuff, etc etc... Sick of the BS.

    • @SnarkasticSunny
      @SnarkasticSunny 11 дней назад

      But, how do you get to know each other at all if you share NO opinions, or any other things about you? Seems like all relationships would have to remain superficial...fake. Even, "How's the weather?", asks for an opinion after all.

    When a parent does this you can literally never feel safe not only in your environment but over time even in your body it’s like someone’s watching you and waiting to distort your reality at any second just to fit their own narrative to feel stronger they even get other people in on it who don’t dare questioning why they would do this as long as it keeps their bond going even if does damage to your soul

    Narcissists are so weird. They often mirror and parrot others around them in their actions and communications but they also project their thoughts and understandings onto those same individuals in which they mimic. It’s crazy. They judge people as if they are you criticizing them. This is my experience anyway.

      @@Zatanna22 Yep, the projection is totally insane. The other day my covert narc mom randomly mused that "Your dad would be overcome with anxiety instead of dealing with the problem directly." Like lady... this is you exactly. Though I say nothing of course. All of her toxic relational, communication, and behavioral patterns are projected onto everybody else.

    The furniture thing, omg, its true! I visualize him as a 5 y/o girl, with a doll house full of tiny furniture and tiny dolls. His mind has the depth of a 5 y/o girl, too. And he's a medical professional. Scarey, right? These ppl could be your doctor, your pharmacist, your child's teacher and you have no idea, so watch out and THINK first, before getting too close to anyone.

      Including some therapists too. The last medical doctor I visited just did not care and had no empathy. I looked him up online and other people were saying similar things in their reviews. They supposedly want to "help other people" but many of them are status-oriented people.

    I’m going to tell him why doesn’t he work on himself instead of complaining about what I’m doing ! I told him to quit try to steal my brother self-esteem and get his own because every day after work he would come home and complain about my brother just out of the blue we weren’t talking about my brother we hadn’t talked about him in months but every day after work he would talk about what a loser. My brother was he was an alcoholic and he was mentally ill so I finally just told him one day why don’t you stop trying to steal my brother’s self-esteem and get your own and he shut up and he never talked about him again
