My 2016 Altima didn't come with rear speakers. There's metal covers that are attached from the top of the deck. I just might cut those to get access from underneath the deck.
Sorry for the delay. I haven't made many vids and not sure where my alerts for msging goes here. Anyways, the front dash speakers I would suggest leave the factories in there. I have considered an inline cossover to filter out the low end tho.
@Greg Riley I never understood why some Altima coupes had bottom bolted speakers but I'm glad mine were. BTW my 6x9s didn't seem to fit the screw holes properly, so I don't have them all in. What speakers did u buy, and did all 4 holes per speaker align for you?
6.5 component speakers w separate tweeters. I'll check the exact name brand when I get home, buy they are related to fosgate. They've held up for nearly 5 years now, so no complaints here.
@@Tech4Lyfe yes. 6x9 looks like would be a better fit than the 6.5. I checked out the brand and they are Renegade btw. They were under $100 and I was kinda skeptical about them being affiliated w Fogate, still not sure about that, but they've held up great.
Dangit, apologies for not seeing this. I cut mine after not having luck at my local electronic shops with speaker adapters. If you plan ahead, you could probably find them online.
I imagine it would. Primary difference I am aware of, is bose systems have an amplifier powering their speakers. Thanks and apologies in not seeing your question sooner.
On this particular 08 AC, the factory speakers were mounted from the bottom. They were factory and I highly doubt the previous owner removed them and mounted them underneath. That wouldn't make any sense.
of course Nissan wants to use a torx screw head. lord forbid they do something sensible like...i don't know...use a bloody PHILLIPS HEAD like everyone else!!!!
I really appreciate you for putting your time to making a video for us coupe owners 💪🏻
Thanks man For the Input. Good to know. All knowledge no matter how small can be very useful as you learned. Thanks for passing it on. 👍
Thank you and glad to hear this may have helped.

Make it video how to replace the front speakers

@@gregriley1708 you went with 6.5s not 6x9s for your rear deck? Thanks for responding btw.

How many speakers do you have in that car?
Can I use the same connector without cutting anything ?

Replaced mine using this video:) thanks!
Does this work with the Bose speaker as well

What’s the size of the front speakers do you know??
I don't remember but Crutchfield . Com will
Does this work for a Nissan Altima 2011 also ? Thanks
how did you take the rear trunk liner clamps out?? mine wont pull out for some reason.
The plastic tool set for trim work at auto stores or Walmart. Pop the center circular piece up first then it comes right out.
Thank you
You are welcome and thank you for the comment. *I had forgotten I made this vid and hadn't noticed other questions.
With the speakers being installed and bolted in from the top to the metal deck from factory, there’s no way possible this would work.
