Me too. I love the Escape tiny homes and love this model in particular have looked at the 30' XL version of this design and wondered if THAT would be big enough for a couple but here they have made a beautiful life in the 25' version.
After watching this channel and Living Big in a Tiny House and seeing hundreds and hundreds of tiny houses, I've been trying to visualise what my perfect tiny house would look like. This is it! There isn't any part of this design that I would change. I love the layout and in particular the bedroom loft with the triple-aspect windows and extra head height. Grace and Ryan are truly blessed to be living in such a wonderful home. When the time is right (hopefully soon!) this will be the house design I will go for. Thank you so much for sharing.

That big window really helps give the space an open spacious feeling. I think it would be cool to have a kitchen counter in front of a big window like that and then point that window south toward the sun in winter so that the light pours in across your food prep area.
My favorite tiny home thus far! I am a plant mom and I love windows and light colored wood. The windows in the loft are perfect! Lots of windows...yay!
I really love your home. I really like the fact that you have an actual sofa rather than a built in as well. I definitely would be comfortable in this tiny home.
I find it interesting that for several decades now, people have been "trash talking" others, all because they live in a mobile home/trailer that is less expensive than a traditional home. Fast fwd a few decades and people have shrunken those mobile homes to less than 25% of their original size. Now people are suddenly falling over themselves trying to compliment others for living in these pint sized mobile homes. It's a crazy world we live in these days.
That's a great observation. Many regular folks been living in mobile homes way before it was "cool"! :) Another important point; when you consider the expense of purchasing & outfitting these small homes, you also need to take into account the cost of a land lease, if you don't own the land your tiny house is on. The additional cost for land leasing can be significant.
To me the difference is the quality of the build. I'm not trying to "trash talk" mobile homes here, but they don't have the same quality of materials, build, and design aesthetic as these newer tiny homes. It's like merging the pros of a traditional build with that of a mobile home and creating something nice but affordable. I would much rather live in one of these than my grandmothers mobile home in a very nice retirement community in Florida, but it comes down to aesthetic and design for me.. and I'm not 55 or older.
It’s very charming and cozy tiny house. Well done. But did they say 65k!? This is crazy amount! This is more than our pay down for our 3 bedrooms cottage with 2.5 bathroom which is located in the 2e Canadian metropole suburbs. Yes, we have a mortgage but at the end it’s a real investment as it gain 5% just last year. Tiny house value just depreciate with the time and does not come with any land.
It seems like they didn't build it themselves so I'm sure a lot of the money that they spent is for labor! (I think in the beginning they say they bought it from a company).
About what I paid for our brick and mortar house with a large plot. I think many tiny houses are terribly expensive for their size and they don't look like they will last many decades.

I love the plants so much 🥰 Escape is an interesting builder, and I think the greenery lends itself really well to helping the coziness factor of a more modern home. 🏠

I really like it! I like it also because you don’t have to bend over and crawl into your bed you’re able to almost stand up straight and it looks so much more comfortable it’s really cute. I see you got all the necessities and I agree the more room you have the more you feel you got to fill it up with stuff which is a waste of money
It is lovely. U might consider shortening the rails by the staircase over the last two steps so that it is still easy to hop up to your bedroom when the dishes are still out there on the folding rack next to the basin .
That was exactly what I was thinking. The design and layout of the house is great, but I could not imagine to live without a washing machine. Perhaps the house is located in a place where they share this things or they can do the laundry publicly, but that is totally unavailable where I live. Would be a great videoidea for the Channel: „Howto: everyday living in a tiny home“ with interviews and a look into the lifes of different owners.
@@PamsPrettyPlants I think it depends on where you live. In my country public landruomats doesn't even exist so that raises the question for people like me. I'd just assume they hand wash or wash at a friend's or family's place
Personally I see laundry as a good excuse to head back into town, visit with some friends or family and mix business with pleasure ..... This way you're fulfilling multiple needs/wants all the same time.
The 30' version of this same design has 2 foot deeper bathroom with a combo washer/dryer and more of a standard bathroom counter (plus a door to divide off the living room space and another 12-16" of counter to the right of the stove.
This pretty house with wood and plants is what I always wish to see on these videos. Why don't more of them look like this ?? What a wonderful job you did on your home :)
That is a beautiful set up. The natural colors of the interior plus all the windows makes the house look so big even though it is a tiny house. Very cool y’all.
@@joantrotter3005 I think turkeys are smaller in the UK too haha. In all seriousness, a homesteader I watch in the US was talking about cooking 8lb chickens for their dinner, the extra large ones here are 4lb (normal size 2lb), I can't imagine a chicken so huge! Our Christmas turkey was 9lb and squeezed in with no room for anything else above it. I read that you can get 30+ lb turkeys in the US which I can't quite wrap my head around ;) It's so interesting to learn about the differences from food to homes to car size. I'd love a 5 burner stove with double oven but I'd have to get rid of the kitchen sink to fit it in :D
Y'all have the best tiny home I've ever seen. I have a similarly sized RV that works for the minimalist side of things, and it was only $18k new from the dealer, but man oh man I'd trade it in a heartbeat for your rig. What a beautifully designed home. It's so functional and cosy. Goals.
I liked especially the sitting room. Saw a similar styled one in a mid brick house years ago. The low ceiling brings an intimacy to the space and allows more height to the area above. Plants are great to keep good air quality.
Lovely home, couple, and doggy. The green plants add so much beauty to your comfy home. I notice that so many tiny home owners who have spent lots of time deciding upon what is best for them use Mrs. Meyers natural soaps. Me too.

What American's consider tiny (stove top, oven) is considered normal in The UK.
I was just thinking that. 'Tiny' ovens are regular sized ovens here and still get the Christmas turkey in ;)

I was thinking the same, but about the fridge. That's a full size freezer-fridge-combo by european standards. Anything bigger is an 'American fridge'.
