    Can we just acknowledge how insane it is that the mattress cover isn’t removable for washing??!!

      @@uniquelyursula87 My pack n play isn’t actually soiled kind of dirty, and just a bit dusty from being packed away for a few years. So I’m thinking maybe I just hose things off outside. Do you think the mattress pad thing would be ok with a brief hose down, and immediately hung to dry on the line? Watching how you washed yours down in the bathtub, makes me think it could take maybe 5-10 seconds of a spray. What do u think?

      @@jaquirox6579 If it's just dusty and light dirt, I would just wipe it thoroughly with a wet washcloth. Mine both had saturated urine and other unknown stains so it needed as much soak as possible, but it doesn't take much to reach the particle board. I probably would avoid a hose. It seems like too much water coming out to control.

      @@uniquelyursula87 well… I cleaned it yesterday before I saw your message. I soaked everything, lightly rinsed the mattress mat, then also the bassinet topper that also had the board inside. Then I hosed everything to rinse outside. The boarded things, I spray briefly with the hose, on the non board side, then stood them up right away to dry in the hot summer sun. Everything is brand new clean, and no issues or defects ensued! Lol! I’m glad it went ok for me, if anyone else is a clean freak like me, and wants alllllllll the dust gone for a new baby, now you know how my method goes over as well.

    Have you had any issues with the frame rusting? That’s my only concern, I scored a Winnie the Pooh one for my daughter and I’m gonna be devastated if I can’t get this clean.

    • @uniquelyursula87
      @uniquelyursula87  11 месяцев назад

      Mine did not rust. They are still going strong. If you have concerns, the one thing I might suggest is to rotate the bases onto their sides with the fans. Just make sure all water drains out of them, no dripping and then fans for at least 24 hours to make sure they fully dry. Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes!!

      Neither pad mildewed. I got them in front of fans right away and they dried really quickly. It seems like the only way they would mildew is if they do not get adequately dry. If it had been summer I probably would have left them in the sun as well but fans did a really good job.

    Not to be rude, just educating on being aware of cleaning your baby's things inside of a tub with jets. If you use the basin to soak in often, those jets get really nasty with gunk from soap residue, dead skin and debris. You have to literally remove the facial pieces of the Jets themselves in order to get inside to clean them properly. Just letting everyone know so that there's not grossness hiding where you're cleaning your baby items. I bought a 50 gallon trash can specifically for that reason. I keep it outside in the shed but I bleach it and clean it before I use it every time and only for cleaning large baby items. Also, once I'm done washing and rinsing I open the pack and play up and flip it upside down on top of the trash can so that the sun is exposed to the bottom and all the sides equally. It dries super fast in the summertime. Hope this helped someone ❤

    • @uniquelyursula87
