Thank you for doing a follow-up video! I know years ago with the Dyson Airwrap you did the same. With the cost, it is prudent to be very thorough with this. It is definitely for a natural look and nit the sleek blowout look. The draw for me is the no heat but I still have to use heat to get a smoother look. The Airwrap is still my all time and most used hair tool!!!
This one made my hair silky smooth and top notch salon quality. Just what I was hoping for. I do believe the final results will vary depending on the hair texture. I have medium thickness hair which is wavy and curly. I am in love with dyson airstrait. Just a little correction, it will still do some heat damage just not to an extent a regular flat iron would do. But since its generating hot air I would certainly recommend a heat protectant spray regardless :)
This tool made my hair salon sleek straight - like a blow out. I was curious to see how it would turn out on your texture. It’s not bad though but I think it all depends on hair texture. Mine is fine - wavy. I wonder if you tried using the boost on dry mode! That should help
I’m so happy you were able to get the outcome you were looking for. In this video, I did not show the dry function, but my last video I did and I used the boost. But, it did not get my hair sleek and that’s ok. 😊
I've been loving it but my hair isn't as curly 2C/3A. Normally I blowout then flat iron then curl (to get those loose waves) but that causes problems because sometimes the flat iron makes it too straight and it won't hold a shape but blowing out then curling isn't enough. Thus far in the week I've had this it's eliminated those first two steps so I can go from wet to straight ready for styling but I agree with your assessment that it's a really raw unfinished straight. I'm going to have to experiment with using the airstrait and then maybe using the airwrap on the final pass. I think that might be a working combo for me. I find blowing out with the airwrap to be unsatisfactory more of the time and going in with the curly barrel straight away leaves frizz.
Interesting. I think I like the airwrap better bc I know exactly how to get my hair straight using it and it’s quick. I still use the flat iron after. But, the NO heat damage is definitely the biggest selling point for this one. Thank you for sharing your experience and for watching! 😊
Such a helpful review! I was just about to purchase but if I’m gonna bother straightening I want it straight with no frizz I can achieve this with my blow dryer
How does it dry your roots? To me it looks like this straightens more than my revair. I'm not familiar with the airwrap. Maybe I need to go check that out if it straightens better!
This definitely drys and straightens your roots. The airwrap straightens my ends better. But, the best part of this machine is there is NO heat damage in wet/dry mode unlike the airwrap which is less heat damage. Hope that helps a bit. Thank you so much for watching! 😊
@Gleamy Gleamy Glam Glam oh that's ok! Yes I was wondering because it looks like the air comes out the bottom so when u clamp it on it how does it get onto the roots if it comes out the bottom? Who knows but it dried yours so that's great!
@@feefee2 oh yes, the air come from the bottom and the inside. I’m sorry i didn’t explain that. You can use the heat coming from the bottom to first dry your roots a little if you like (I didn’t in this video). But, yes it does really well with the roots. 😊
If I remember correctly, the manual does suggest that before putting the hair through, pull your hair and hover with the airstrait like you would a hairdryer since the air comes out like one
I have. In my other video I did. But, I was more interested in the wet mode bc that is the mode that Dyson claims to have NO heat damage. For dry mode Dyson does not make that claim. Thank you so much for watching! 😊
This backdrop makes it difficult to see the actual results. I think a natural light background would result better quality for the videos.

I hope you can return this ! Lol thank you for showing us the truth!
I’m glad you mentioned the split ends issue because I’ve noticed, on multiple videos, that the ends are a big issue.

I’m so glad that you love the results, but Dyson does claim for wet/dry mode NO heat damage. Which is great! Thank you so much for watching! 😊
‘If this is the look you’re going for then yeah ok’ 😂

Love your honesty in your videos. Do you have or had the chance to try the Corrale? Would love your thoughts on it if you have.

I’m glad it was helpful. 😊 I completely understand. The biggest claim for this is the NO heat damage. Thank you so much for watching! 😊
I thought you're suppose to dry the roots first before passing it through your hair?
Can you do half Air-straight and half air wrap 😊
I thought about that, but I have a couple videos on the airwrap. So, i didn’t think it was necessary.
@@GleamyGleamyGlamGlam it would be cool to see a verses of how each one performed

I’m sorry you asked how does it dry the roots. It does so by hot air. Hope that helps a bit. 😊

Ps you have beautiful, flawless skin 😍 what’s your skincare or is it your genes 👌
Thank you, that’s kind of you to say. Not skincare or genes just good foundation. Lol Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Have you tried the boost mode on dry hair ?
I have. In my other video I did. But, I was more interested in the wet mode bc that is the mode that Dyson claims to have NO heat damage. For dry mode Dyson does not make that claim. Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Are you sure your hair is 3c?
Yep. You can see in my older videos with my hair longer it’s probably easier to see. Thank you so much for watching! 😊
