  • In this video I go over a couple of upgrades I have recently done to my Shapeoko 3. I create a tablet holder and mount for my Fusion 5 tablet that I use to control my Shapeoko. I use Fusion 360 to design the mount and then I 3D printed the design using my DaVinci Pro 3D printer. In the second part of the video, I 3D print the PWNCNC Dust Boot V4 along with the mounting hardware. I ordered all of the files from PWNCNC along with the screw kits and brush for the dust boot. The most difficult part of the process for me was the threaded inserts. I ordered a threaded insert tip for my soldering iron and that really helped. Also, I kept the temperature low on my soldering iron to not over melt the plastic as I put the inserts in. All of the prints in this video were done with Inland PETG filament. I have recently added a Fein Turbo I vacuum to my setup, and I was originally going to add that video to this video, but I decided to separate that video to allow for a more thorough look at the Fein Turbo I. I will hopefully be adding the review (with noise level tests) and unboxing of the Fein Turbo I vacuum in the coming weeks, so if that interests you, remember to subscribe.

Hey sir I really love your design for the tablet holder. I just purchased one of these tablets today. Do you have the stl file you used available? I would be very grateful! Thank you and hope you keep making these awesome upgrades and videos!
