Wow they do well at bath time. My last dog had to be held for a bath. I mean but come on now look at their daddy.. who wouldn't want to be in the bath with him ❤❤😂😂

That sounds like a great deal! We had to shop around to find a groomer under $100 ! Don’t mind the shaggy “Teddy Bear” look but we love when they come home with a fresh Schnauzer cut!
How are they so calm taking a bath and dried off with the hair dryer?

I have two mini Schnauzer pups as well. I take them to a place in Allied Gardens called Suds N Pups. I know it’s a bit far from downtown for y’all, but they do a great job with my Schnauzers! Give em a chance, if you’re willing to drive an extra 15min from Downtown.
You need a longer hose. That would make all kinds of clean-ups easier... 😉

It can be very expensive to get dogs groomed. You are doing a great job of just keeping them at peace. I have two Shetlands and they just go crazy (not in an easy way when I bath them). I think you being in there with them using a calming voice is very good for them. Nothing quite like quality time with “man’s best friends” to bring peace to life. 👍🏻
Yes, they are so good and obedient… makes bath time a bit easier for me - quite the long process with having to blow dry the long hair at the end. Can’t imagine doing it with high energy dogs jumping around and having the wiggles 🙈
@@JessAlexZacYes, for sure on drying taking a while. I think all dogs believe they can just “shake off all the water” without our help.😂 (I wish they could). Short haired breeds can get away with that.
Your babies are so cute and so good about getting a bath. My little guy is 10 yrs old, and it's getting a little harder to give him a bath. He gets a bath every other week and a grooming every other month or three months, and it costs $54 plus a tip.
All I have to do is mention the evil 4 letter word and my two chihuahuas have a look of sheer terror on their faces.

We had a lab part husky dog she loves getting wet with us outside in the summer she was 100 pounds 😊

I love how cute they look waiting for the turn to be bathed. They are such a good girl and boy. I am glad they will go in the future hiking with you guys. Yes, grooming for a schnauzer can be very pricy but not as much as you mentioned. If I recall when I took Barley (my schnauzer) was only like $40 for a bath and grooming. I think it depends on the city you are living in. I usually ask mine to be groomed with shorter hair during the spring and summer and more long hair during fall and winter so if you are planning to take them hiking I think shorter grooming with a short haircut seems more appropriate, Jess but that is my opinion. Btw Saphire seems to be feeling better so I'm glad and hope she will continue to thrive. Thank you for sharing this little moment with us and you look very cute bathing Tux and Saphire!!💖 Oh! Wow?! Only $40?! That would be amazing - haha… everything is expensive in San Diego. Had to shop around for a groomer that was under $100 / per dog but also could do a quality Schnauzer cut (some of Tux’s first haircuts weren’t very good).
my dogs, they were mountain berneces, LOVED bath time, I would say the word and they would march into the shower, they didn't have "toys" with them but if it works right ;-) ...

My dog gets a bath when I throw a stick in the lake or river, over and over again.

We have had 4 now - we LOVE the breed!
Did yours have trouble with Pancreatitis? We were caught off guard when our last suddenly died from it last year 🕊️

Nice dog toys! But on the real they do really good in the bath, my older Chihuahua is whatever with them but my shih tzu loves it, when i get her dry she leaps back into tub. Lol damn i forget sometimes how how all three of you guys are

Dog grooming is expensive here in Columbus Ohio, but if ya drive an hour north of here, it's $45 ! So worth the drive and time. HOT dog washing suit ! I wish I was younger.
It can get so expensive! The base rate for these two little pups here in San Diego is $80… plus 20% tip (each!!) 🙈 That’s considered a good rate - we shopped around, a lot of the dog groomers were charging $100+

They are so chill about the whole bath, patiently waiting their turn. Hard to believe Saffie is so mellow and obedient. Seems like you just took her into the fam. Love the backstory on Tux's tattletale behavior. Always the protector.

Saffie is such a sweet obedient little thing. We just adore her - she learned quickly from Tux. The two puppy mill mamas we have brought home have both been like that - much easier to train than puppies are.

What happened to Ladybug? Sorry if I missed it, but I haven't seen anything about her. Just curious. Amazingly behaved pups. That shows such great teachings and dedication. ❤️
She unexpectedly died earlier this year - such a horrible tragedy for our little family. She was only 7 (Schnauzers usually live to 14+). She had a sudden bout of pancreatitis and died within 24 hours of the onset.
We quickly brought Sapphire (Saffie) home due to Tux missing LadyBug so badly. The two of them get along amazingly now. We all miss Lady so much and loved her dearly!
They are amazing not trying to get out.
Here in Virginia I pay $70 for my schnauzers path and hair cut every 5 weeks they also trim her nails Charlie from Virginia

Enjoy your videos & watching your life journey & transformation. Grooming in NOVA it's $70ish last time I checked but I enjoy our tub time my guys are short haired so it's easier and less maintenance.
A tip from a fellow dog lover and parent to three dog's (2 Miniature Pinschers & 1 Chihuahua Dachshund mix all 3 rescued/rehomed) that didn't enjoy their bath/shower time I looked around for something to make it easier and less stressful for my guys. Luckily I found the Waterpik Pet Wand Pro dog shower attachment and it is one of best water related tools I've purchased. The dogs enjoy baths now and because you have total control over the flow of the water at your fingertips the process is easier and we're done in half the time.. The tool acts as a water squeegee to rinse shampoo & conditioner from their fur.
I look at the bathing process as quality bonding time with the guys.I know they appropriate my effort. I enjoy watching the way they prance around after their bath.
