hilomona so I suppose you know how old he is from looking at him. Can't tell by size with them. I bet he is older then you think. My schnauzer was small enough to fit in my button up shirt pocket when we got him. As with anything. It sucks to do something new for the first time. But why make this about something rotten and evil. Why not make it about the fact that he is with a new family that looks to obviously love him very much.
Watching this as my 17 1/2 year old baby nears the end of his life. He was 6 weeks when I brought him home and did not bark for 2 weeks. He was the runt and people thought he was broken but soon enough he came out of his shell giving me the time of my life.
I’ve had my black mini for 3 weeks now and she’s like my shadow. Absolutely nuts, makes the silliest noises and loves to sleep with her nose on my cheek. Love her to bits already
Chumpie is so precious! Same mannerisms as my mini schnauzer when I brought her home. She is in doggie heaven now but this brought back so many memories of her.

I have a schnauzer, he’s about 4 now. He is literally scared of everything! He doesn’t like fart noises, or car rides, or people around him. Not to mention he sees another dog on tv he gets on the tv stand and starts barking! It’s hilarious but I love him (:
lol thats exactly how mine was when he was that age. Then he grew up and started causing mischief. When no one was home he managed to climb up onto a tall counter, somehow got across the kitchen sink and ate half a bag of chocolate chips. Lived to tell the tale, the 'beetus got him later though. Cute puppie, I had to have my Mini schnauzer put down June 2016, he was great little dog. I bought him from a lady that wouldn't sell him to me because of my race. When she finally couldn't sell the puppies. She contacted me but I wouldn't return her call. Yet she was near where I had worked. I come to find out she kept the puppies on her porch in a crate meant for one she kept 8 puppies at 9 weeks. Easy was the only survivor of his litter, and he died from Melanoma Cancer. He was 9 years old, he was a terrific snow predictor. He loved it and a day before it would snow he would run and jump in the windows or run to the door constantly. When he did this it was sure to snow. Sorry for the long post miss that little pooch. But he was Great but I will never own another one. His presence is missed by all.
My girl Fina had to be put down this year because of breast cancer, it was one of the worst days of my life. We got her from a family friend who breeds them. We're thinking of getting another one from him because it will be related to our Fina.
My Bosco crossed the rainbow bridge June 2016 as well. He was the best companion and friend! I just yesterday adopted another. I know already he will be my best bud, not Bosco, but a gentle reminder
Hoy falleció mi schnauzer de 15 años, ver este video me hizo recordar su época de cachorro y me sacó una sonrisa que en este día, es muy complicado ❤️🩹
Looks like little Chumpie was comfortable within a few minutes of entering this home. got right on his new big bed and went to sleep. I have a 7 year old Schnauzer, that I rescued from a shelter when she was 2 years old. When animal control brought her in, they said she was found wandering around with no leash, collar or tags. No one ever came to claim her. Other than being extremely matted, I knew she was going to come and be our forever Schnauzer. These dogs are the best. I also have a Jacairn, and a Bearded Collie. One big happy family.
So cute, now i have 2 yorkies but my last baby was a shnauzer, he died poisoned by a neighbor, i never have discovered who do this terrible thing,i cried so much, whatever, is good to see shnauzer babies, i remember how my Bruce was thanks for share this video.
Dee Tsukimura In what way. Intentional or not? As you know some people might eat a cookie and has nuts in it. Ate without knowing person is allergic to it.
Stella Thomas I believe it was intentional, my home was in maintance, some of equipaments from the people who ara doing the job was gone, wathever, now my dogs only go outside in daylight, i feel guilty in some way, now i have 3. Your puppies are really cutecongrats :)
My 5 year old schnauzer passed away 3 months ago. I remember watching this video the day before he passed, with him by my side.. watching this again 3 months later makes me so happy and sad at the same time...
Great video, BUT whyyyyyyy oh why is the miniature schnauzer's tail reduced to a stump? Why do Americans do this to their dogs, it's sickening, it is illegal to do this in the UK, I cannot fathom why it is still allowed in the USA.
it actually is better for them to have it cut as when they grow older they hit stuff with it and the tail hurts them. besides it doesnt really hurt them.
+TheScislak I'm sorry that is just nonsense, plain and simple, I don't say that as an opinion, I say it as a fact, what you've just said has n basis in truth. Research has shown that docking does not reduce tail injury in the general dog population, especially when most dogs are not used for hunting anyway. Dogs tails are used extensively in communication, both with other dogs and with humans, I can always tell what mood my Schnauzer is in by the way his tail responds, to deny them their tails is like cutting off your tongue. Docking is mutilation, there's no other way around it, it hurts the dogs even at a young age when it's traditionally done, and it has been rightfully made illegal in Europe and the UK and Australia. The US needs to catch up to the rest of the civilised world .
+Piper Campbell "just dogs"......I don't even know what to say. And we're "just humans", would you be ok if someone cut off your child's thumbs at birth because they didn't like the way they looked?
I’m absolutely gobsmacked that humans, would dislike a video like this. I’m sure None of Them have ever/ owned A Mini schnauzer! Shame on the No sayers! You are and Have missed out on One of The Top Breeds! Stunning Video!!!’
I did NOT dislike this video and never have on dog videos where their tails were chopped off (I know that's not the proper term but it means just that) so it could be some of the dislikes are people that don't like that. I think it's cruel to dock their tails and I would never buy from a breeder that did but I won't dislike because of that. Then no doubt some of the dislikes are from people that just don't like dogs 😒 My husband grew up in a family that had a Mini Schnauzer and is always talking about what a great dog they are.
Never looked at these videos until I got a Miniature Schnauzer myself - now I'm hooked. Such character for a small breed. I've grown up with dogs as my family over the years has kept Springer Spaniels, Fox Terriers, Labradors, Dalmatians and Border Terriers but the Schnauzer is the best IMO.
I've had 4 miniature Schnauzers over my lifetime, it's the only breed I will have. I just lost my 15 year old Schnauzer (he was thoroughly dedicated to me and I miss him terribly) but fortunately, I also have a 13 year old Schnauzer to comfort me. They are so loyal, loving, opinionated, people-oriented (mine thinks he's a person), stubborn, SMART, friendly and full of personality - lots of good stuff wrapped up in a small package!
@Sara I've never heard the bit about them being called the dog with the human brain but I love it and it definitely defines a Schnauzer! Thank you for sharing that! Yes, it's agony losing one because they are so dedicated to their person, so full of unconditional love, so darn cute, and the absolute best companions. They fill our lives and hearts so completely that they leave a huge void when they're gone. Glad you were able to move on and get another one. :-)

I remember these days with my solid black Mini Schnauzer, Curly. We didn't get his first "puppy cut" at a groomer though until he was about 4 months oId I believe. It looks like you got this one's done a little younger and it is just soooo cute! Wish I had thought to do Curly's at that age now! My Mini Schnauzer started having epileptic seizures at about 2 1/2 years old. I wasn't sure how long ago this video was posted or at what age it would make your dog at the present time. If your dog hasn't had any yet I would watch for them. I found out since I got mine that epilepsy is quite common in this breed. Hopefully your dog won't have them. Wish you many happy and good years together!
I had a mini one since 2008, a girl, beautiful, playfull and very brave, she protect us until she died 10 years later :( I loved and still love her :( love your dogs because their are not pets, they are family
So adorable!! He brought tears to my eyes when you first brought him home and he looked so loss. But happy to see him running and playing now. Too cute!!
Vicki Linn would they be good around kids? We have a 1 year old and by the time she’s about 4 we‘re gonna get a dog. I want a corgi but my boyfriend wants a schnauzer. I’m just worried because schnauzers seem so energetic compared to corgis
@@FaeOakley Depends on the individual and how you raise them. I have a schnauzer mix and since they're a pretty jumpy breed, they can end up nervous around sudden loud noises and movements-like with kids. That being said, while mine doesn't like kids, if yours grows up around children it would likely get used to them pretty easily. And they're not super energetic dogs really? They're not couch potatoes and they can be loud but they're not a high energy dog like a jack russel or a husky would be.
@@FaeOakley It's very important to properly socialize Schnauzers as they can become very nervous in new situations. Socialize the puppy so he/she will have a chance to get used to new people, babies, running and loud children, things on wheels like bikes and strollers, etc. If a puppy is brought up with little children, chances are very good the dog will be very good with the kids - that's been my experience. But a Schnauzer can be nippy if treated too roughly -they're not as patient as labs - and most don't like kids climbing all over them or pulling on them (they're just too small for that). Schnauzers are NOT high energy but they're also not slugs - moderate exercise in the form of daily walks should be enough.
I still miss my schnauzers. Some of the best dogs you’ll ever have.
he's broken let's return him

All dogs are like that if you adopt from someones home. About 2 weeks to adjust and a month to show characteristics.

My 5 year old schnauzer passed away 3 months ago. I remember watching this video the day before he passed, with him by my side.. watching this again 3 months later makes me so happy and sad at the same time...
pmine passes away apcoplee of weeks ago so i feel for u
+Sam Graham mine wasn't a mini schnauzer but I feel both of you.
Ours passed away 3 years ago at the ripe age of 15. We’re gonna get another puppy and a lab pup so they can grow up.
Colomba Valdebenito 5 years? Why did he die that young for
If you dont mind me asking what happend?. He was very young still!.
I have the same kind of dog but he's in a better place now
boyishgamer 9 Just lost my miniature schnauzer as well, bitter sweet watching this
@@BasicallyKenny I just lost my 15 year old mini earlier this week - my heart is broken. Thankfully, I also have a 14 year old mini to comfort me.
And we're "just humans", would you be ok if someone cut off your child's thumbs at birth because they didn't like the way they looked?
my mini schnauzer puppy has a long tail
+The Real Slim Shady if they were meant to look like that they would be born with it. So no they aren't meant to look like that
Everybody who disliked this video is a cruel heartless cat person lol NOT REALLY! but they are cruel and heartless!
Peta, probably.
Then no doubt some of the dislikes are from people that just don't like dogs 😒
My husband grew up in a family that had a Mini Schnauzer and is always talking about what a great dog they are.
Schnauzers are precious we have 2 a brother and sister. Have a lot of personality and at times stubborn and vocal. 😊.
...they sure do bark ...
The puppy is, of course, perfection. I love how kind, patient, and gentle his Mommy and Daddy are! Chumpie came to a WONDERFUL home!
I just want to hug him and give him plenty of kisses 😘 he is adorable
thats so cute 😚💖💖
Nice to see such loving parents for this cute pup. Our standard schnautzer pup also plays DJ a lot!
Aaaaw... He reminds me of my dog (Schnauzer) .. he died recently this week. I miss him.... Now, I keep on watching videos regarding Schnauzer dogs...
Jhaizze May Dee18 aww I'm sorry for your loss
I love little Chumpie...
I LOVE SCHNAUZERS SO MUCH 🥺😭🥺😭🥺
dog lickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Chumpie could use a companion.
Should hv adopted two.
I'm getting a salt and pepper mini this weekend and I'm so excited! Watching Chumpie made me so happy!
That dog's impression looks pissed off in the thumbnail picture of this video.
I lost my little Nina after 17 years. When I saw this it reminded me so much of her. Schnauzers are so intelligent, they are dogs with a human brain.
I had a mini one since 2008, a girl, beautiful, playfull and very brave, she protect us until she died 10 years later :( I loved and still love her :( love your dogs because their are not pets, they are family
Something about this would break my heart bruh. I’d go back in an instant and adopt all his little buddies.
RUclips is the best, just recommended this to me, I have a Schnauzer, he's almost 12 now, and he's really sick. Watching this really gives me hope!
Kythra Kel I hope he’s gotten better!!
@Sara he actually got better this January, the only good thing that happened to me in 2020
Omg what colour is he ? Salt and pepper or black/silver? We want one ! 🥰❤️😍
I subscribed because of the slow mo 🤷🏾♀️
I’m bringing home my 7 week old Mini Schnauzer in one week, and I am SOO EXCITED! This video makes me even happier!❤️
My parents surprised me and my little sister with one of these yesterday’s as an early Christmas present, his name is Archie.
So adorable!! He brought tears to my eyes when you first brought him home and he looked so loss. But happy to see him running and playing now. Too cute!!
Don't be a bit fooled by his size when it comes to being a good guard dog.
My miniature schnauzer trotts while he walks when he excited to 😭
OMG AT 3:30 I DIED WITH CUTENESS🥰
I love miniature Schnauzers that's so cute
Wonder what must go through their little minds when they end up in their new home with their new family and away from their momma and litter mates.
i also have a mini but warning they are SO protective
I miss my dog everyday. God I wish I could see her again and hug her.
