This is super wonderful and all...but no one ever seems to fucking talk about how when you have your aggression absolutely decimated by abuse, mainly physical abuse as a child, there is a total 100% power imbalance there and we carry those wounds, that programming, around with us as we get older. Saying we need to integrate our aggression is super fucking easy. No one ever tells you how. When the body has been locked into a holding pattern of fear of confrontation, its incredibly difficult to get out of. Sure, not impossible but it may as fucking well be.

Literally just asked myself before bed to show me my animus. Dreamt about climbing rickety steps and when near the top i had to jump to reach the top floor but never could reach it.

It's funny about the dreams and women mainly needing to go upstairs cuz im a woman and most of my dreams with any such motif indicate going downstairs into basements. I don't wana do that AT ALL.

the anger comes through at me from traditional comfortable women with jealousy and preventing your growth,
condescending remarks about anything to better yourself that you did. DO NOT tell them your plans

When she explained the unconscious animus at 15:56, I swear she was talking about my husband. Assaulting me and anyone who will listen constantly with a bunch of shoulds and should nots and what ought to be. He destroys my feeling instinct and attempts to control me, making it difficult for me to make choices from my authentic self.

I may seem a little harsh but I will speak the truth. I am a female too and I've been through that as well, a very controlling and violent partner, misoginist and all that...until I trully realized the problem was my lack of boundaries. Nobody can hurt us if we're not hurtable, nobody can touch you, if you're not touchable, nobody can invade you if you're not invadible...you get the idea. I put an end to the "relationship" the moment I opted for myself. Many women are taught to be a martyr like I was, always sacrificing ourselves for the benefit of others. I was naive enough to fall for this violence when I was younger but the moment you realize you have it all and you don't need anybody, that's when you take your light back. Unfortunately it hurts at first but this is what will set you free. Us, women must develop our animus which means we gotta learn to think more rationally. We need to rationalize our at times scattered emotions. Think rationally like a philosopher and defend the truth and justice. Get out of the victim mentally, that's very important.

yes.... so that means ur animus has possessed him mostly likely or he has a bad relationship with his anima .... and uve projected ur toxic relationship with ur animus onto him

wow, last night i had a dream where there were mannequin-ised, frozen women stored in a warehouse by 2 men in black using a blue, spider web liquid and i was a calculating male agent and destroyed the warehouse. later on in the dream, i had relations with a very charismatic and witty masculine aspect and experienced guilt and feelings of being prosecuted. then a storm raged on outside and i saved a small black kitten and her mother by bringing them inside and wrapping the kitten in tissue to keep her warm.
i am only 14 mins into the video and am resonating deeply with everything being said.

    Hi!
I want to thank you for your help and for this amazing information.
I am a women, 35 years old, I am in the process of my inner work, integrating the animus, dream work.
My story begins 3 years ago after a painful breakup.
The story short is that all my 3 long term relationships have in commun my retroactive jealousy, also know as Rebeca Syndrome.
I delve in to the jungian psychology from January this year and basically changed my evolution dramatically in a good way.
But I still can't figure out where is the root and where to search in Jung psychology the answer for retroactive jealousy, I can't figure out if is about the animus, the shadow, a father complex or another thing.
If someone can help my I am open to any suggestions.
    Thank you so much!

the animus doesnt need empowering.... it needs nurturing... we dont need to make our animus more powerful or stronger...we need to house it, contain it, protect it, respect it, honour it, listen to it, nurture it.... NEVER IDENTIFY with NOR ignore or fear ur animus.... i already know this lecture is all Wrong

So you’ve had many interactions with the animus in the dream space then? You must have to make these claims - I am interested in hearing about your dream experiences.

Thousands of years of patriarchal tyranny.... You mean survival, which is a nature principle. I think this woman's animus is acting up, and she honestly believes that if it wasn't for men, she'd be frolicking through the forest, with a grizzly bear pet like she's snow white xDDDD

Try to articulate your ideas in a clearer manner, it is not clear what you mean. I find it unbelievable how ego can rage behind the anonymity of internet comments. It seems you've spent too much time on the incel forums. And it seems you are not aware almost everything we, humans, build, goes against nature (hospitals, laws, art, internet, robots and so on). So if you use survival as an argument for patriarchy and misogyny, you have some thinking and reading to do.

    • @watchmenowus4033

@@prody666 From the smug internet critic with a complete lack of self awareness. Most of the things you mentioned.... hospitals, laws are made to preserve life... a direct byproduct of survival and abundance. And sorry sweetie, I've been with more than my fair share of women. I just choose to go with what nature intended and not what deluded narcissistic losers like you think.

you are dear as much out of tune with reality as this lady who is patronising here everyone with quite boring lecture, nothing new, and she obviously not know wht femininity is about, and surely by empowering she understand excessive make up bleached hair impecable hair do and some pseudo intelectual giberish

Are you suggesting that men get the credit for our survival? As far as I can see men and woman have made an excellent team through the millennia together helping our species thrive. Women deserve as much credit for this as men. The contention between the sexes we see today is a very recent phenomenon in the scope of history.
