Trevor being genuinely excited by, and focused on the games is honestly adorable
It just is! As an easily distractible ADHD millennial, I totally relate-I'll often prioritize toys, furniture, or other distractions over eating food because, well, new things are exciting!
Josh *chugging* that first milk and nobody even noticing had me on the floor
Josh HAS to do gallon challenge on the next episode. Or I will look at him with disappointment every time from now on
Trevor: focused on toys
Josh: focused on Dairy
Vi: the only one focused on the job at hand😂😂
this is true of many mythical kitchen episodes 😆
(plus the apple in Josh's case 😂)
i need a 2 hour episode of just Trevor reviewing all the toys
I need a 2 hour episode of Trevor in my pants 😇
Trevor and Toys 🥰
I second this ✌🏽
That’s 3 hours too much of Trevor anything
And I wanted Josh to chug all the milk but here we are
“Mythical doesn’t stock honey crisp apples due to the recession.” But you know they have wagyu beef and Goldleaf back there.
Trevor's audible gasp every time he pulls out a toy is killing me 😂
12:38 trevor just casually yeeting that microphone away upon seeing an actual toy just like how a kid would act lmaooo
It’s good to see Trevor has such caring parents, making sure he eats his food 😂
I went to an Arby's for the first time in years, and found that their kid's meal comes with a sticker/coloring book, and **triangular** crayons, so they wouldn't roll off the table. Blew my dang mind. The future is now.
Triangle crayons may not roll, but the kids still throw them
Triangle crayons are dangerous. My nephew throw one at my mom & she had a triangular shaped mark by her eye lol
@@cececece4982 same thing can happen with a circular crayon
@@cececece4982 you do realize anything can be dangerous depending on how you use it
@@chriskenny5269 I saw a joke the other day, can't remember which comedian, but.. .anything can be a knife holder if you try hard enough. Made me laugh :)
As "a" father I just have to say Trevor is why you confiscate the toy, and they don't get it until they eat. Which gives the adult an excuse to play with it and put it together first.😂🎉
i love how we went from josh distracted by milk to trevor distracted by toys 😂
😂I don’t know why, but Trevor once he got a toy or two is so hyper focused on this on them. I feel like his adhd is activated, I can sometimes do this.
the novelty button going hard for the dopamine
Josh immediately proves he was the correct man for this task
One thing overlooked is that Burger King does the "big kids" meal. If you get a burger instead of nuggets, it's a double cheeseburger as opposed to single patty of most other fast food places.
I miss when McDonald's did this. I'd get one for me when they had toys my kid wanted. I still order the triple cheese burger at mcds, best meat to bun to cheese ratio of all their burgers.
@Stacey N you can also just buy the toy by itself from mcd's! 😊
V rocking Smosh merch is honestly adorable. I related so hard to Trevor in this.
I'm so used to watching both Smosh and Mythical content that I thought that was just "usual smosh subtle merch plug" but no, it's Mythical doing the subtle smosh merch plug this time.
Anyway yes, Trevor is a kid at heart and I can't help but say I'm one too.
Josh: "I think I could do the gallon challenge".
Immediately after chugging the second milk: "I don't feel so good".
Lol 🤣
Vi momming Trevor (13:16) broke me. 🤣😆😂 "Here eat a nugget while you're doing all that." Then feeding Trevor the nugget!
I worked near a Culver's and got the kids meal there all the time. It's essentially the same amount of food as a regular meal, but comes with a coupon that if you collect 10 you get a free kids meal.
YES!!!! We need more Culver’s appreciation they are the best fast food!!! I need them to expand so I can have them where I live now (no longer MN)
Give them the recognition they deserve!!
I'm the guy that tweeted about a bathtub full of fire sauce packets, Trevor had the BEST answer. Thanks guys. Love you guys.
Trevor throwing away the other toy when he saw the burger king was so cute😭✋🏼
The sheer delight on Trevor's face as he plays with the toys is priceless!
Josh, as a fellow milk chugger, we still struggle with the gallon challenge. We can tank it easy enough but the stomach still do what a stomach quickly flooded with milk will do.
V's face at 13:55 put fear in the heart of all husbands out there. We know that look. This WILL come back at a later date.
Thank you Josh, I've been saying this for years about chicfila, even before I became aware of their moral repugnancy, they've been like "bland ass middle class people's " chicken
Trevor getting distracted by the toys was the highlight of this video, he is absolutely precious.
*Trevor, being distracted by the joy of a papercraft*
Josh: This, for me, rockets immediately into my top.
*Trevor perks up ears*
Trevor, you're wonderful, keep being delightfully you!
That "Huh?", lets you know he was definitely not listening because of how distracted he was
Josh, we need you to do the gallon challenge. Maybe as a short, if you're good enough.
Let's do the 2 gallon challenge instead
“Do you think the kids are getting smarter 😮 or I just getting dumber 😂. These toys are hard too put together . It’s this jingle I have to get it in this hole.”.😂 Trever Your so entertaining ..
Josh is judging the best kid's meal by looking at nutrient break downs, fruit and politics. All important factors for a kid ordering a kids meal. Josh and V should review each if the meals first, then Trevor can tell them if they were right.
From on they should probably just determine score based on their own specific strengths. She can rate taste, Josh can rate nutrition, and Trevor can play. Then add the 3 scores together and they get an overall rating for the meal.
Realistically you could argue that including a 'healthy' option in the kids meal is just as psychologically manipulative as adding a toy. Parents are more likely to get it because of that. Marketing.
I think I grew up right at the tail end of kids meals having good toys. Like actual real lego and plush toy neopets, and then as I got older it shifted into bionicle-shaped action figures but they weren't real bionicle parts, and just got shittier and shittier and now I guess they're all just cardboard?
McDonald's is a great example of how quickly things changed. In the 90s, they had cinnamon cookies, decent (but occasionally grisely dark meat) nuggets, and then a size small bag of fries, and a teenie beanie baby for a toy. Then they started going for 100% white meat nuggets, apple slices or yogurt, and milk or juice for kids meals with a cheapo plastic or cardboard toy in the early 2000s. I legit have a CUP, like a 12-16 oz plastic cup from a Burger King kids meal that has a scene from Pocahontas on it. I've had it since the 90s. They skimped on the toys once they started paying more to make fast food kids meals healthier. 🤷🏻♀️. No kid is going to get healthy from fast food. You're better off spending the extra $4-5 at a local joint for a real burger and fries or real chicken tenders than spending the inflated prices for fast food trash.
Trevor is such a precious kid.
I love the dynamic of Poppa Josh, Momma Vi & Baby Boy Trevor.
7:09 Trevor with the toy is literally why I wasn’t allowed to have my toy until I finished my meal.
12:22 trevor showing how McDonalds is teaching kids how to roll💀
alternate title: trevor just wants to play with toys but disguises it as a food review video
14:52 My friend group had this running gag with this one friend where they hid hot sauce packets in her stuff, so she was constantly paranoid that there were more and she had no idea where they were. One of them decided to do the ultimate version of this prank by buying several boxes of taco bell fire hot sauce packets and fill her bathtub with them. I was invited to help with the bathtub filling process, but I was busy that weekend. All I can say is that when the process was finished, it was glorious. It would go down as one of the greatest achievements for all of that specific townhouse.
After much research, I have concluded that I have no idea who asked this question, and they were not involved at all in this incident.
Recently started watching this channel and fell in love with Trevor he’s like the only entertainment I need 😂
8:01
“Huh? Yeah, this definitely … the words you just said.”
This is just mama and papa trying to get their kid to eat his dinner while he's just hyper fixated on his toys 🤔
This is 3 versions of my ADD discussing everything and watching I’m still understanding everything
Settle down.
Josh saying “it comes in a box! Their ranch is good! Also the children are learning!” - he reminded me of a Dennis bit from Always Sunny lol
McDonald’s use to (in the late 90s) do single hot wheel cars as there toys! My favorite as a kid
And teenie beanie babies
this is the most chaotic mythical kitchen video i’ve ever watched and that truly means a lot
Right after josh chugged the second milk i got an ad for Wal-Mart and it said "making it rain-" and i genuinely thought it was josh making a joke about chugging and throwing the milk container haha
I need to see Josh complete the gallon challenge
Just wanted to say to Josh and EVERYONE at mythical crew, thank you for staying so consistent with basically daily videos.
Vi, that Only Packets joke was chefs kiss and needs recognition. Nicely played.
Very underrated ... Was thinking the same
Chick-fil-A will always be crap in my head because of their bigotry :) The Internet seems to forget real quick.
I was scrolling to see if I'm the only one who is tired of Mythical using CFA in their fast food videos. They don't need the free advertising, and Mythical should stand against hate.
Agree, will never touch their food until they change their ways.
Same, I love everyone at Mythical but it hurts that they forget that Chick Fil A donates to anti-LGBTQIA+ groups. No chicken is tasty enough to give money to them knowing what they support.
Yea, not a fan of the recent spike in Cfa stuff showing up on the show
Yeah I was disappointed to see them being promoted
I love this episode. I'm totally a Trevor. I'm all about the toys that come with the meal!
Man I remember loving Happy Meals as a kid. The boxes with bright colours, fun shape, puzzles mazes and characters on it to keep you entertained. I used to LIVE for the mini Barbie doll toys and the Teeny Beanie Babies. Great memories of both. But it terms of the quality of food, I agree and vote Wendy's as #1 their nuggets are top tier and their fries and sauces are really solid
I don't have kids, but I do have 4 younger siblings, the oldest of which is 11 years younger than me. The food is most important. If you want toys, bring them with you. Especially for long road trips. My parents, who are now dead, always bought my older brother and I travel activity packs (this was in the 60s) when we went on road trips to keep us busy during the 4-12 hour drives to visit relatives in other states.
Trevor: I need to know how this works
Trevor not even 5 seconds latter: *yeets toy into the void*
Josh mentioning Ryan Crouser’s shot put record made me insanely happy. People don’t talk about throwers enough.
Trevor was the best gauge on this one. Not worried about views, just being a kid, props for it. Of course, watch your kids, but for randos watching, Trevor is pure-hearted
Empty the Fire sauce packets into the tub. Next, buy up whole turkeys, preferably when they are cheap after the holidays. Then marinate the whole batch in the bathtub of sauce for at least 24 hours. Then you can remove them and seal them up in plastic to maintain freshness. Freeze until needed. To get maximum efficiency, cook multiple at one time, as you are already going through the trouble of cooking a turkey, why not two or three? Then either feast upon the spicy turkey, or shred it from the carcass, freezing/refrigerating the meat for later.
V is the only voice of reason speaking the Truth... McDonalds Fries are F tier, by far the worst
the fact that i'm still awake, after going through an associative relationship with higher level fungi, and this video didn't break the vibe at all.... i think is saying something.
Trevor and the toys is reminding me of Patrick at the goofy goober bar in the SpongeBob movie 🤣 “I’m supposed to get a toy with this!…..thanks”
How are they all simultaneously the child and the parent friends for each other?
The niche Ryan Crouser reference is so funny as someone who went to the same schools as that whole track family
I feel frickin validated about what josh said about chik fil a! I thought I was going crazy about how much people like the chicken. I thought it’s just bland.
One time my family went to Chick fil’ A and it my mom was babysitting our cousins and my sister had a friend over. So there were 7 kids and one adult. They gave us a free peach milkshake and vanilla ice cream.
Trevor's childlike wonder really makes me smile
BK is my #1 on all fronts. It's about consistency. You go in a BK, you know exactly what you are getting. Their hardware is set up to be idiot proof, or their recipes are just intuitive and impossible to mess up. I like Wendys a little better, but you get like 80% great orders 20% crap orders. McD's is more like 70/30. My favorite order is just a bit over $6 at BK, 2 Rodeo Burgers and a small Diet Coke. I'd take it over a baconator.
When ordering a McDonalds kids meal you can ask for a double French fry instead of apple slices.
Vi: ima be honest with you I don’t like the McDonald’s fries
Keeps eating the fries 😂
Definitely need to see Josh do the gallon challenge! 100% please make this a thing.
I work right by a place that makes those apple slices for McDonalds (I'm sure other companies too). The building use to be a chemical warehouse for pools and hot tubs. There were two known chemical spills where the hazmat teams showed up and we were asked not to go outside of our building. I wonder how well that place was cleaned before food processing started there.
I feel like this series should be subtitled mythical kitchen's inner children cut loose 😂❤
I loved Trevor’s genuine excitement over the toys especially the McDonald’s
8:55 Josh casually eats ranch out of a block person
Josh: right Trevor??
Trevor: Huh?
Vi is by far my favorite person on here. I feel like she doesn't get enough air time and when she is there she's stuck catering to Josh and Trevor's chaos. I'd love to see Vi do her own segment with her own interests!
If your child doesn't want apple slices you can get more fries in the Happy meal. Also McDonald's Toys aren't always books, they cycle through dozens of types of toys. I think Mcdonalds is number one for kids and Wendys number two. Wendys gets number two because it has the FROSTY.
As someone that drinks an unnecessary and maybe unnatural amount of milk, i would like to share a gallon of milk with 2 boba straws and share it with josh eye to eye
The genuine excitement escaping Trevor over a bunch of kid's meal toys is a great afternoon pick me up. Have you ever considered just, you know, turning him loose in a ball pit or something?
I'm with Trevor here. The toy matters. And I'm 60! Josh? You can have my milk for a Merry Christmas... Joke from my friend who unfortunately found himself in jail over Christmas one year. For delivering a pizza btw. Lady said "Oh that isn't him..." On the 27th... Enjoy your milk!
Vi, gorgeous earrings. You look great!
vi's opinions are all correct
I love the close up on Josh when he drank the milk LOL
Trevor hyperfixating on the toys, I love it and I feel seen
lmao!!!! only packets! it was so left field (though not really) that I died laughing
Don't know if this is just a Canada (or Quebec) thing but the McDonald's kid's meal offers a mini fries (what's in this video) or a small fries (served in that white paper pouch, so almost double of the mini) for the same price or you can pick the apple wedges or pineapple chunks instead and all the meals come with a yogurt tube. For the toys there are the under 3y.o. (or was it 4?), over 3y.o., a book or no toys (but why???) options.
The guy in the back of the Wendy's blowing bubbles inside the nuggets been real quiet since this dropped.
They should have each scored the meals for different things. Vi for the chicken nuggets, Josh for the fries or the milk, and Trevor solely on the kids toys. Best average wins
Y'all keep missing out on Arby's! Their new nuggets are amazing. My local Arby's always has a huge line, best fast food place in my town. Plus, right now, $1.99 kids meal coupon can be used 3 times. I pay $6, get 12 nuggets, crinkle cut fries, and 3 apple juices and their weird bronco berry sauces Also, BK fries are amazing fresh.
Vi's edges and earrings are KILLING IT for me rn
Burger King had tenders instead of nuggets when I was a kid and they were amazing. Like, genuinely delicious. Changing their chicken was Burger King's original sin. That was when they lost me and also when I started ordering cheeseburgers at every fast food place
Such an underrated trio 🤣 need more V, please and thank you
omg i love vi's earrings. but is anyone gonna talk about chik fil a funding hate groups
I order kids meals all the time to save $ so this is actually really helpful
The reasons why all the toys are books or sets is that a lot of countries have passed regulations where kids meal toys can't be primarily plastic anymore or if they are, it has to be biodegradable plastic (which is often more costly) because they were generating too much plastic waste as most of those toys go in the garbage after a while
at mcdonalds you can opt for no apple slices and more fries and they give you one small fry instead of the kids fries if you choose that
Been binging!!, love your cast you guys have such good chemistry together!
As a mama that ordered chick fil a kids meals frequently, they’re like $6 not $10 😅 but also, you get chicken, fries, ice cream and a drink. That’s a steal. Ice cream > toy. We have enough toys, we don’t need a .50 toy. Don’t get me started on McDonald’s and their “toys”…a deck of cards…effff you for giving that to my toddler 😅😂
Also, I somehow feel better about giving my kid chick fil a over the other places. We usually do fruit cup instead of fries, ya know to balance the ice cream lmao.
Can we get a vid of just Trever (hope I spelled that correctly) playing with and assembling toys bc he looks so happy it made me happy.
Trevor being so focused on the toys made this review feel more whole in my opinion. Every component matters just like he said.
I wrote this before they started feeding Trevor nuggets while he struggled with the toys. Now I’m just amused.
They never take about how at chick-fil-a, you can turn the toy back in for a free ice cream!!!
Trevor squeak laugh!!
9:35 I went to highschool with Ryan Crouser, and hearing his name so casually dropped in this video is just still surreal to me lol
