- There are many reasons why you would need to restore a backup of a Revit file. Sometimes you will be working with a Non-Worksharing file, sometimes with a Worksharing file (Central/Local) and sometimes on BIM360... but this Revit Tip will help guide you to restoring a backup regardless of the file type and location.

If your company needs BIM/Revit Assistance.. you can get help without hiring an in-house BIM Manager.
A virtual BIM Manager (me) means you and your team can get immediate help (and ongoing assistance) without dealing with the overhead of hiring someone full time.

Hi. What if the revit folder was deleted in ACC. Is there a way to restore the folder/files in it?
Hello sir, thank you for the very helpful video. i'd like to ask you if there is a known way to restore the back up file deleted by revit . what i mean is , if the maximum is 3 backup files, and the folder contains 5 backup files, then Revit deletes the oldest 2 backup files, and is there a way to restore those files.
Thanks
No there is not. If you set your backups to 3.. it will overwrite the first one when you hit save the forth time. So set it to 20! :)
cant find the folder worksharing (i have a student version) does that means I dont have any back up? I've been also working always withan usb
The student version must not allow Worksharing... and neither does the Lite version.
It paste it directly at same location in the file? Or do you need to use a basepoint?
Pls make video on model health pls
Model Health is a plug-in (free) from Autodesk. That's a great idea. I will make a video using that!
