@@sergiocampanale3882 no I mostly agree. I wouldn't characterize all history as subjective though. Even if something is told a certain way, within that subjective story can be objective facts. If there's 2 or more different versions to an event, especially one that enough time has passed to allow evidence to surface but not so distant that you only have 1 or 2 sources, you should be able to look at facts supported by evidence and get closer to the "truth".

Regarding Israel's genocide in Gaza - Obviously the "Senate Armed Services Committee" has never heard about the Geneva Convention and the obligations of Israel in relation to it. They rather compare a pre-Geneva Conventions war with the war of an occupier against the the people of an occupied territory today. Not to mention the breaches of the Genocide Convention which they will keep denying forever.

As a result of the U.N. 1947 Partition Plan, both the Arabs and Jews were going to have independent states and gain sovereign control of previous state owned land; and notably for the Arabs, in land where there had never ever before in history been an independent Arab country. But the Arabs rejected the partition plan and decided to go to war with Israel with the express goal of destroying Israel and driving the Jews into the sea.
