    If my shitty explaining will help you in any way, basically an accidental is a note that doesn't really belong in a scale or mode. For example a C Maj scale is CDEFGABC, so if you play C-C#-D-D#-E-F, the C# and D# would be accidentals since you don't see them in a C Maj scale.
    Triads are the basic fundamental notes of a chord/arpeggio. An A Maj chord is made of the notes AC#E. Play those 3 notes in succession and you're playing an A Maj triad. Hope that helped a bit.

    So who knows of a video showing how to make the sound at 0:46 to 0:47 because I would really love to implement that into one of my solos. I know that Born Of Osiris uses this too. I know most of you are going to say "just listen to him and do the tapping" but it's not a clear description to make the "bird chirp" sound as I like to call it when Born Of Osiris uses it because that is what it sounds like. But if anyone could link me to a video describing how to make the "bird chirp"/dissonance sound that would be great!!

    • @FunkmasterLuke2000
      @FunkmasterLuke2000 10 лет назад

      Just hit two notes at the same time that are one semitone off from each other. If you use higher notes it will probably get more of the "bird chirp" sound you described.

    • @nicholasgrin7220

    • @FunkmasterLuke2000
      @FunkmasterLuke2000 10 лет назад

      Nicholas grin you can do it using just two strings. One way to play it is hit the 19th fret on your b string and 15 on you high e at the same. if you stop the notes quick and don't let them ring out it will probably get more of a chirp sound. Thats one to play it. you can try experimenting with different strings or notes.

    Similarities DT/Faceless: Refined use of melodic patterns/motifs and their development and counterpoint function.Emphasis on harmonical aspect (chord changes and voicings thoroughly designed).Elaborated guitar soloing.Eclectic musical concept.Epic character of whole record...... Dissimilarities:No hypervirtuostic unisons and extended instrumental sections in The Faceless.No cheese vocals in The Faceless.No straight major/minor tonality in The Faceless.No demonic implications in DT....

    Chuck doesn't use his pinky much up on the higher frets, which is actually pretty normal. Keene just doesn't use it often for anything.

    Thx. Well,nowadays it's no problem to get guitars anyways, even if your country does not have those , you can just go to the big guitar shop: for example in Canada it is, Tom Lee and L&M and they will order whatever guitar you want from USA, and you just gotta wait, and pay a bit extra.

    I'm fairly certain I read it in an interview. The memory is a little fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure he said it himself.
