Hope you'll enjoy it ! They're really amazing. - Видеоклипы
That falsetto is insane
headvoice (c) c6
That’s head voice.
@@KajiVocals head voice and falsetto are the same thing
Rodney Davis Yes. Precisely. Falsetto is not the nicest term to use though considering it’s history.
@@KajiVocals what's it's history? I was always thought it was the proper Italian musical term for head voice
its 2023 ....im still baffled by the skillful harmonies of these guys ...wow !!!...mindblowing
The bass kills me every time. However, the middle voices have the hardest job.
yeah, and his smile is just.... beautiful...
Man alvins part used to kill me wen i younger now i can sing it with ease now and ima baritone lol
acapella masterclass!
I'm always in awe (literally my mouth hangs open)every time Take 6 sings. If you could hear a rainbow, Take 6 is what it would sound like. Claude McKnight's high notes..just wow.
Take 6 reveals their vocal secrets! I always found their "Get Away Jordan" out Dixie Hummingbirded the Dixie Hummingbirds' original. It's that great! 2:34
Claude is a legend. Well, they all are 😮😊
It's not for nothing that they have 10 Grammy Awards! I've been a fan of theirs since the beginning when they came to Brazil in 1991 at the free jazz festival. I was 18 years old, since then I've always liked your music! and happy to know that they preach the gospel through their music. They influenced me a lot through their harmonies and lyrics, helping me to have the musical sensitivity I have today!
🙌🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👏
Shows you how important the baritone and bass is to this Harmony. The bottom voices gives this substance and depth
Omg David is just absolutely amazing....he puts everything together 1:18
The MEAT LOCKER, wow! That's what I'll be calling the thick harmonic understructures in my compositions and playing from now on lol.
they sound good separated but amazing all together.
Jazz in voices...crazy good...I heard them through out the yrs..this one of the best songs they have.
I wish I could "like" it more times than just once!
Oh man this is deep!! I had goosebumps throughout that whole video!!!! I really respect and love Acappella music.
Thando Mdleleni: 👋🏻 me too, and that was b4 they got to the baritone and bass singers (I was dead then and back to life). I truly enjoyed this!
30+ years of harmonic excellence...peace and blessings.
"I wanna cross the Jordan just to see Him face to face
‘Cause I believe He’ll part the waters if I have a little faith, so get"
Get back jOoOoOrodon!
@@Momo-zc8ns Gotta get across.
@@SJRogers0786 Get… back… cuz I wanna see my JeSUUUSSS
@@jeremiah.massillon No…. temp….taaaatiooooon… is gonna keep me from seeing Him on the other side.
2:56 - that fp crescendo is absolutely amazing! I went back and listened/checked --- that's the best they EVER did it (even better than on the album)!
This is the best version of Get away Jordan (Live) ruclips.net/video/WKPa9kjqfZ4/видео.html
I went to highschool with Alvin Chea and he was an amazing bass even back then
All I can say is wow!!!
Mark Kibble is a genius !
This is why they are harmony LEGENDS! Seamless, crisp, well blended...wow.
THAT BASS THO!!
Joey's part was crazy! Wow!
Still simply the greatest piece of vocal harmony you will EVER hear!!!
No words .... think I'll just listen again
THAT IS A HIGH C F-ING SHARP... Apart from all the other brilliance. #legends
My gawwwwwwd!!!!!! I LOVE them! They were the 1st to master acapella and they still cannot be out done!
Merv was the master🐐🐐🐐🙏🔥🔥🔥
Bottom 2nd tenor and baritone are always the hardest to hear in allllllllll their songs lol
It's the MOST important. Gives the Harmony substance
Literally catch the breakdown between Dave and Cedric and u will hear the difference
@@RTDavis0503 That's right Rodney. 👍👍
Dave's part is always the easiest to hear compared to the baritone.
The baritone/lower voice IS typically the hardest to hear in general lol
Bass kills it#Take 6
Yes if it wasn't for the bass it would sound ok but would be incomplete for sure:)
Block Boy: to me it was great without the bass, the bass just makes the speakers on this joint bump (I loved it!)
Actually David and Joey switched. Not in this song, on the old songs Joey sings the 3rd part which were Mervyn Warren's parts. Now Joey is part of the "meat locker". He sings the 4th part from the top, and David sings the 3rd part from the top.
I love ❤️ these guys. This is what Judah was created for. To worship Yeshua not to sing worldly sinful music. Most High restore all of us. ☝🏾☝🏾 restore your people Amen 🙏🏾
I'm trying to "isolate" each voice pattern by ear... man, I'm having a hard time, hahahah
Me too. That fourth part doesn't make any sense when you hear it by itself, a musical cowlick of some kind. I wish someone could explain the sense of these parts to me.
That’s jazz for you. Those weird jazzy intervals
It make sense, u jus hafta think barbershop and minor notes.
Magical. Such artistry. Like honey to my ears.
No words!!!!
WONDERFUL!!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this... Hadn't seen it in
ages. 🙏
Never fail to amaze me.... Every single time even though I've hit repeat like a thousand times!!! Respect, especially bottom 2 tenors toughest parts to sing! Bass woohoo !!!
OH OH OH I ADORE YOU GUYS!!! Thank you for every emotion your music inspires!!! Many, many blessings! 🙏💕🇺🇸✌
The bass.....oh my !😍😍😍 lol great song
I could listen to them allllllll day break it down!
Yes. Sing Judah 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Estou enlouquecido aqui... Loucura! Os melhores pra sempre!!!❤️❤️❤️
I have to vocally review this on my channel!! More people need to know about this group that knocked a paella out of the part even back in the day!
Please do. It would be an honor
Perfection in song, personified.
Wa Wa Wee Wauuuuuu- i had the honor of attending a full performance in the Jazz festival in Eilat ( The Red sea) . What a gift, what a blast and what an uplifting spiritual experience.
Masterpiece
Show. Muito massa. Sempre curti muito essa música deles. Show.

My favvvvvv
Double wow!!
Gosh!!! I wish I had their musical ears.
God and only God arranged this union Amazing!
Oh my goodness let's go!!!!!
OMG Alvin's hair!
TrueRomancer04 he's erik killmonger.. so ftw
Ouvindo em 2022! Harmonia incomparável do take 6 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Os melhores do mundo
Los mejores Take 6
Boy they up there 2:40 they know they killed it
Jazz harmony is based on the 4-note seventh chords, plus 3 upper structure notes, 9th, 11th, and 13th. Sounds like they've got it covered!
Merv use to sing the third in a natural voice..
Merv was awesome in this group.
Merv and Dave also sing that highest part
I preferred then with Merv. He was the GOAT 🐐
Crazy

Whos here 2021
Wow.
Insane 🍿❤️😕✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿❤️❤️❤️
the bass...
Wowwwwwww
bass bass bass!
The bass singer always make me think of Damon Wayans ( he favors him to me). I can't remember what the name of the tape was now but this was part of the segment on there except they had individual small commentary with each singer after they did their part. I enjoyed the crap out of this breakdown of get away Jordan by them and learned about harmony
Ok I remember now the tape was called "take 6 all access" that this was on
these men are aWeSoMe !! I live in Denver and I would LOVE to hear them in Person!
Julian E. Alexander: keep in mind if by chance you didn't know that this was done over 30 years ago, but they still sound great even now!
Good Lord.
2:54 this is illegal
LOL
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That -ters of waters in the bass is a nice note
this is the mills brothers if there was six brothers because the mills did the same with their mouths except it was two trumpet a trombone n a tuba n their older brother who was the tuba played guitar but they were amazing as heck. bless up take 6 ill take them over B2M any day.
Claude could be Brian's twin here.
1:37
I actually have the entire VHS tape
Somebody stole my All Access VHS tape....and when I find the culprit....😡
So sorry to hear that. I’ve just found mine…..thanks for the reminder 👍
The main part 2:12
what's the name of the man wearing a hat, hitting the really high notes
Claude McKnight. Brian McKnight big brother
Bruhhhhh
Meanwhile, Michael Jordan: "I took it personally..." 😂
In what year was this?
Oscar Herrera 1992 or 93
I am 11 years late. This is just really, really sick! In the best way! SMH.
Why does this look like a I Key and Peele video
Without Merv it’s not the same.
What? This is ridiculous
