It's hard as an artist or group to remake tracks but kudos to Take 6. They done a marvelously amazingly job with this Ambrosia remake song. I've heard this song all the time growing up when I was going to grade school. These are timeless tracks that never ever gets old and Ambrosia should be proud of this Christian urban group. Way to go.

I absolutely LOVE the original love song version of this by Ambrosia. Their lyrics are so deep and so romantic! This version is about the same trust and commitment, but with the Lord. When I first heard it, I was like "Those aren't the right lyrics!", and then I realized...duh..., they're right for what they chose to do with the song. Very nicely done. :) Love it, too!

I actually didn't know that this was an original until my brother told me and when I heard it I was like "Nice!!" great feel good song with the same heart, purpose and conviction Take 6 kept the delivery similar which was a great thing, being a vocal sextet they had added that intricacy in all the right places as only Take 6 can do....... Most of this band is from Detroit, I believe. I was attending Oakland Community College in Auburn Hills at the time this came out and I took a Modern Dance class. The teacher said her brother was part of the band.

I can remember them working out (or balling) at the local YMCA, and never knowing that they were behind this monster hit (cuz the parental units said they weren't paying for TV), that is so amazing to me! Still, this song sounds so wonderful, and I love the simplicity of the video (like one commenter said, the black and white thing going on was brilliant). And, after all these years, I'm still a big fan of theirs:)

Actually, Take 6 did not give it "that r and b touch," they gave it a contemporary gospel touch since it is clearly a praise song. Ambrosia's original is indeed a classic song with lovely vocals, but Take 6's DIFFERENT version (not just a cover) stands on it's own as a beautiful, flawless interpretation.
