6:42 that is the best lighting effect i have ever seen on a keyboard imo. The next keyboard i get might as well be this one as i love the effects and outemu blues are my favorite. Put some Pudding or g.skill crystal keycaps on it and holy moly it would look amazing.

@@benjaminmathew289 i believe most MECHANICAL KEYCAPS have standardized way to attach (for lack of a better word) all mechanical switches i have seen have the same "+" shaped post (sometimes they have little bracers on each side so it looks like 【+】 but that shouldnt matter) for you to put your keycap on so unless there is some weird mech keyboard out there with proprietary switches and proprietary keycaps you should be fine 99.9% of the time when buying different keycaps just make sure the are specifically for mechanical keyboards.
This keyboard actually has an software to configure the RGB settings , i googled it today and find it on a youtube, some guy made a guide how to use it. In the software itself you can set per key lightning ,the RGB effects itself and other macro settings. Has also profile settings ,so you can choose multiple profiles, as the settings for MOBA ,FPS ,MMO and other types of games. I hope you will find it and use it you're liking :) have a nice day peeps

It is the loudest amongst the colored switches so it can irritate someone if they're on the same room. Ask them first if they are okay with really clicky sounds before buying. Unless you're typing a lot while playing then I don't think it should be all that noisy but again if you're really concerned about the noise then better go for the red switch variant of this keyboard.

Yes it is comfortable especially if you like clicky keyboards. It's really good for typing as well. Not so much in making mistakes but that's not really on the KB but on the user.

Hello, you said in the video that switches can not be changed, but in the amazon website it says that the blue switchs can be replaced. Why cant you swap the switchs in ur keyboard?
I believe there are 2 versions of this keyboard. I got the non swappable one. It should indicate in the box if it's DIY hotswappable. It's also soldered in the PCB and I don't know how to do soldering.

Honestly it's just personal preference but blue switches aren't generally used for gaming. Most people would say Reds or Browns for that hybrid feel but I didn't had any problems playing with these. As for wrists not really, you can rest them and play though I personally lift em up when typing. Much easier for me.
I really want to buy this keyboard since it's on sale at my local computer shop, but I'm concerned about the noise so would installing rubber rings help to dampen the loudness?

Wonder if I just got a bad keyboard.. when typing do you get metallic ringing, like if you hit a stick against a hollow metal pole? I had plans to just swap out keys and make this a cool lil budget keyboard, but the ringing is horrrrible!
On certain keys yes but it's also minimal I rarely notice it. Try adding a foam below it might surpress the ringing sound and lube it as well if you can.
Do you mean like a piece of foam in under the pcb? Even if I jiggle a key, or lightly tap on the metal plate like under the red dragon logo, get the ringing
@@catone135 I don’t see it on mine, it’s mostly because there is an actual RGB LED there, and would just be weird with two LEDs on a singe key. That’s why you don’t see it on many other keyboards
They do or are at least really close to it and probably depending on which keyboard you have. Some people actually prefer Outemu Blues than Cherry MX blues they say that it's actually more clicky and tactile. It all comes down to preference and budget I guess but the Outemu blues are a really good cherry mx clones imo.

@@jimbaldwin1088 That would depend on how tolerant they are on loud and clicky typing sounds. Personally I like how they sound but I also understand why people get annoyed. It is quite loud and can be annoying especially if you type quick and type a lot lol. If you're worried they might get annoyed then I'd say go for Reds but there's no other satisfying sound when typing blues.
so i ordered this keyboard and keep hearing good things about it but one thing i want to know is if i make w a s d purple and then all the other keys blank if i turn on one of the effect modes does it keep w a s d purple if that makes sense
hello I am having trouble to confirm if my kumara is hot swappable, I've seen some reviews showed a box with yellow sticker, mine doesn't have a DIY sticker rather it has a DIY picture printed, I think it's a new box design with the actual RGB keyboard pictured on it.

They do dampen the sound a bit. I've also tried putting 2 o-rings as well and works too.

I could be wrong but I think the hot swappable version should be the RGB-1 version. Mine is only the K552 RGB.

You can do with Per Key Lighting settings. You can pick whichever keys and which colors to light it up.
When you choose a light preset does it save automatically?
Yes, it saves whatever option you pick until you manually change it.

Yes it does have a manual with a list of lighting modes, no it doesn't show you what it looks like. You have to try it out yourself.

There is no proper white led on this keyboard. The only white led turns green when u type. I have this keyboard, and I hate it for that.

You can on certain modes. FN + will speed it up and FN - will slow it down
