    First off, thank you for such informative videos. Question I’ve is, Why does it have to be an angle? Can it be flush 90 degree or is there some code that requires the angle where nosing is suppose to be?

    Beautiful work. Did you say the nosing is made for you by an another shop? I love your dedication to quality. You scrutinize everything and explain it to your viewers-including the size of your saw, based on cut quality.
    Is this engineered wood? If so, it looks unfinished or it’s a very low sheen. Is that correct. I’’d love to see it finished. Is it white oak?

      Hi, yes, this is white oak pre finished engineered wood. Nosings were pre-made by the special shop. I just installed it. After my work, another guy’s made stringers and glass rails. Pretty nice! Thanks for your comment!

    I thought using knife to reduce chipping. No matter how wide your pencil, I can align the saw to the inside edge. Sometimes I keep trace of the pencil If I like to get press fit

    How much water do you use per 50lbs bag of Mapei self leveler? I did 5 liters and it was too thick

      Be careful to add too much water because compound parts can be separated.

    I can't quite hear. Is the reason for 10" saw because too large would cause too much vibration or abrasion? This is intended I never would know youbhave to use a certain size saw...

    • @MrYoucandoityourself
      @MrYoucandoityourself  Год назад +2

      I prefer 10” because 12” not so nice cuts, more vibrations of blade.

    How are the sides of the stairs finished?

    • @MrYoucandoityourself

      There’s custom made side boards, follow all curve, and then glass rails.
