Hi James: Cool video :) I have the same scenario as you. Pre-existing can lights. The instructions call for a 6" cut for the new LEDs. My current hole is approximately 6 1/4". Will I have a problem because I have an 'oversized' opening? Also, I see you bought the Leidary over the Ensenior. Any reason? Thanks! Rob

Thank you! The pre-existing holes in my ceilings were a 100% fit to the cutout template. As long as the housing covers them up, I wouldn’t worry about it. Maybe look into a different gasket for bathroom use.
I did see the Ensenior brand, but went with the Leidary brand soley based on the price at the time. Good luck! 👍🏽

They make trim rings to fix oversized holes, I needed them when I retrofit mine. You can find them listed as Goof Rings since they're meant to fix if you made an oppsie cutting the hole, with different diameters of both light and the outside of the ring.

@@matt65535 Good to know! I will be cutting 4 holes soon to install 4 more of these lights, and if I mess things up, I now have a backup plan lol thanks

Hi James! My new home has these lights. When it's time to replace one, do I just need to buy a new light and plug it into the existing connection?

Yes, if you are able to buy the same brand and model, you can just pull the old light down, remove the threaded connector, then replace with the new light. No wiring work needed :)

    Where's the ground connection.

The LED j-box has a ground lead connected to the metal box that you wire to the supply grounds
