Said this in a comment many months back but I'll say it here too; Your Xbox 360 Sky Island series, way way almost 11 years ago, is why I'm still into Minecraft today. Genuinely, it's because of that series I bugged my parents to buy an Xbox 360, bought a One S a few years later, bought the Forza Horizon games, then got into cars, bought my first ever car, and eventually went into an engineering career because of that passion. In a way, you started that, so, thank you Squid!
There’s just something magical about revisiting old Minecraft worlds, to see what it was like back when Minecraft was new and too see all the creative things the players made. I started watching sky island challenge when I was 8, I'm now turning 20 this year. This series along with Stampys lovely world and DanTDM honestly built my childhood, watching this bought back so many memories so thank you squid! I cant wait to be able to load the world up myself.

I remember finding the Sky Island Challenge when there were only about 20 or so episodes, and my little brother and I watched every single episode together until it finally ended. Those are honestly still some of my fondest memories.
If you can, Squid, extracting the old adventure maps would really help out the Legacy community. Since MCDN360 shut down, many classic adventure maps are no longer available. If you could export your saved worlds (mainly the adventure maps, regardless of if they've been played or not) you would be a great help with preservation!

This was the time when people could make great Minecraft myths or stories such as dimension hopping or time travelling and you'd be non the wiser. Everything you went through, the memories I thought I'd never see again appeared!!! It was the craziest experience in a while! Especially going through the tour with the arena you all built, the aunty squid, stampy's hot buns...wow. I forgot but remembered so easily. It feels so nice to relive a part of my childhood.

Oh man, this really brings me back. I can only imagine the emotion you felt off camera reliving old memories. Where did the times go. Watched these videos and enjoyed you, Stampy, Ash, Amy Lee, and who ever else you guys had included when I was about 4 years old, anyway I turn 17 this year and I miss bein a kid when things were simple and everyday when I came home from kindergarten I could just get on my tablet or kindle fire or whatever and watch some of Squid's ol modded series or sky island videos or whatever. One very vivid memory I have with this series is watching the video where Auntie Squid died, and I genuinely started to cry alongside you guys in the video. (This was like, back in 2013-2014, pretty late at night, when I wasn’t supposed to be watching YT, so it was easy to get emotional, lol.) I remember going into the bathroom to get tissues or something, and looking in the mirror, with tears going down my face, like: “No, Auntie Squid. Auntie Squid.😢” Let’s just say I was super happy when you guys discovered Auntie Squid wasn’t actually dead, and she started yelling at you for trying to bury her. 😂

I remember watching this when I was a kid the sky island and all. This was the time when people could make great Minecraft myths or stories such as dimension hopping or time travelling and you'd be non the wiser. It's good to see the old worlds in tact and the nostalgia with them

sky island challenge deserves a comment of its own, oh the bittersweet memories thinking back to all these episodes, i’ve always hoped that one day you’d visit this world back, i remember the last episode being about a barn. i lobed watching your videos as a child, though you may not see this i just want to say thank you once again for being one of the main youtubers that practically raised me when i was a child. and i’m sure its not just me, its a whole group of us that you’ve raised and entertained when we were young. thank you from the bottom of out hearts ❤️

God I didn’t think I’d start crying. I have watched you and stampy since I was i think 8-9 years old, I’m now 23 years old. this is amazing so many memories I miss you guys a lot. It broke my heart seeing y’all’s last episode together. But I’m happy I can go back in time and watch the episodes all over again if I want.

Everything you went through, the memories I thought I'd never see again appeared!!! It was the craziest experience in a while! Especially going through the tour with the arena you all built, the aunty squid, stampy's hot buns...wow. I forgot but remembered so easily. It feels so nice to relive a part of my childhood.
Time to go back into time and rewatch the sky island series, and pretend I am young again. Thanks squid for all the good memories of when things felt simpler.
Oh man, this really brings me back. I can only imagine the emotion you felt off camera reliving old memories. Where did the times go. Watched these videos and enjoyed you, Stampy, Ash, Amy Lee, and who ever else you guys had included when I was about 4 years old, anyway I turn 17 this year and I miss bein a kid when things were simple and everyday when I came home from kindergarten I could just get on my tablet or kindle fire or whatever and watch some of Squid's ol modded series or sky island videos or whatever. Race to the Moon was personally my favorite 😉

I watched every single episode of sky island and lovely world back in the day, now I'm almost 18. The fact that both of these old maps from the series' I once treasured are going to be public soon is quite literally some of the best news I've had in a long time. Being able to revisit childhood is going to be amazing. Thank you for the awesome memories.
Holy, I remember watching your Sky Island series when I turned five... I'm in my Sophomore year high school now. The world where you invited others brought back so many memories... the Magic Club House you and Stampy built... all of it. Thank you for being a pivotal part of my childhood.
Oh my goodness, I remember the Sky Island Challenge series so vividly.
One very vivid memory I have with this series is watching the video where Auntie Squid died, and I genuinely started to cry alongside you guys in the video.
(This was like, back in 2013-2014, pretty late at night, when I wasn’t supposed to be watching YT, so it was easy to get emotional, lol.)
I remember going into the bathroom to get tissues or something, and looking in the mirror, with tears going down my face, like:
“No, Auntie Squid. Auntie Squid.😢”
Let’s just say I was super happy when you guys discovered Auntie Squid wasn’t actually dead, and she started yelling at you for trying to bury her. 😂
i watched ur skyrim series years ago... i started streaming it and met my best friends in the chat i thank you so much im playing skyrim with my little brother im 18 now and hes 15 and u still get brought up while we play...never forget the day ur horse was killed by wolfs little me cried over it lol
