Last week, in my Bible Study group, the focus verse was Joshua 1:8. In the middle of my note-taking, the Holy Spirit told me to write down Tony Gaskins' name next to the verse because He said that Tony Gaskins's life is an example of Joshua 1:8. Basically, the verse is broken down into several parts: 1. Speak the Word. Tony verbalizes the Word of God. 2. Meditate on the Word of God day and night. 3. He observes to do what the Word of God says. 3. Tony has made his life prosperous because He's doing steps 1-2. 4. Tony is circumspect, an expert, prosperous, skillful, and intelligent (Hebrew definitions of "Thou shall have good success) in the ministry that God gave him and in other areas of his life.

Yes you’re right, even your own spouse can be jealous of your gifts and talents. Should they be championing your? Yes! But this is why it’s important that we love ourselves enough to be our biggest fan/supporter. If you continue to have people near you that act as quicksand, you must evaluate the relationship because you should be allowed to soar.
This is true for a man is looking at your gift and not looking at his gifts bc he keep measuring you when you pursuing your gift and he have not tap into his gifts, when you grow you both grow if he help you to grow and not be selfish in his own growth.

I’ve always “dimmed my light” to make other ppl feel more comfortable bc I didn’t want anyone thinking I was getting too big headed or being “self righteous” whenever I gave God the glory. It’s almost as if every time I’ve walked in confidence or got something new, someone would try to break me down & make me feel bad abt it. Growing out of that tho. Ppl will always think what they want, u can’t control that & we shouldn’t even try. 💯 SN: If anyone out there is going thru a season where u are just feeling emotionally all over the place, it’s because God is trying to speak to u, but ur background is too noisy. Get still, off of ur phone, stop trying to do things ur way, & submit. This is a revelation that I’ve recently received in my own life. Hope this helps with urs. ❤️

When you work on your light and see it’s power in you, the illumination will be greater than you ever imagine. A plant needs light to grow. It will never grow with water alone. There are certain flowers, Annuals, that you have to plant each season. Whereas Perennials grow every season. Each season requires something different to grow. Growth requires light in any season.
