    Glad to hear you're cashing in on the skills you honed doing firewood for your own use. Not bad to supplement your income, and also to enjoy your investment in equipment you already have. Plus, doing work you ENJOY!

    Nice. You should learn the 3 cut rule it’ll help you out on cutting branches off trees so the chain won’t get pinched.

    @DaveJohnsonad5nm 4 года назад +5

    If you put a quick cut on the back of the branch you'll find you have much less issue with pinching your bar.

    You should cut them into smaller pieces to fit more so it’ll be more organized. Nice lil chainsaw!

    Hey man, thanks for making this video and taking us along testing out your new saw!! I SEE this video is from two years ago, how's it going by now? Hey, when you made mention of getting insurance coverage, what was that process like? I'm in a similiar situation now wanting to get official, get coverage and do some smaller jobs as well, I really enjoy the work, a have a bit of equipment, just having a difficult situation getting going

      @@survivingcountrylife7069 maybe you can convince them by saying you bring your excevator and won't cut anything right there, if that doesn't work tell them you registered the business with insurance. But they probably don't want people coming there all the time and stuff...

    Aww what a cute family, you're baby is adorable. What a shame you cant have that wood. Won't they even let you haul it away in chunks?, You could load it with your excavator and cut it up at home.

    That saw is great for limb wood. I only do “easy” tree removals, I turn down 98% of tree jobs that I get asked to do.

    • @survivingcountrylife7069
      @survivingcountrylife7069  4 года назад

      Were learning that too. A lot of them are too big or dangerous. But there's some money in just doing the work on the safer stuff. And I get to work outside with trees and wood. So I like it

    would they let you take logs whole if they did I would mount a pedestal crane and winch on that trailer and take whatever wood you could get from there

    • @survivingcountrylife7069
      @survivingcountrylife7069  4 года назад

      Or even use the excavator. But I know I'd need to trim a bunch of them or delimb them to fit in the trailer

      I went through my local independent insurance agent. He lined it up. Im not sure of the company that actually provides it to be honest. He said 2 million umbrella and 1 million occurance

    It’s unfortunate you can’t take the excavator there and load up the trees to process back home that would be sweet.
