Update: A train wreck along I 40 in New Mexico at the Arizona border shut rail and vehicle traffic for 2 days. Huge fire. That will slow a lot of product delivery.
Another " Accident " !
Got a train and a highway at same time!
Not necessarily since they can reroute and go through Texes and southern New Mexico and go through Tuscson AZ.
They can go through Utah, Las Vegas, etc, Colorado, etc. There are so many ways to get through to AZ it's why we don't have the shortages we seeing other states. I've never seen any shortages in my area ever.
The rural areas are growing tremendously in AZ, which can account for the shortages there.
My Dollar Tree in Phoenix is full full full. Our Grocery Store's are full full full.
I have never seen any shortages in my area ever.

Steve I don't live in America I live in Canada. I find your daily updates very informative. Your daily updates help me keep abreast of supply issues. There doesn't seem to be anyone doing this for Canada. I would like to say that you're very much appreciated.
Prices are just beyond here. I don't know how central Canada is but Maritimes it's insanely expensive. Loblaws is being boycotted. I saw expired milk being sold and made a comment to the manager. Even accounting for differences in currency, I would say our prices are double and half again more than what they're paying down there.
I'm in my 50s. Old however not ancient I remember Campbell's soup being 10 cents a can. What the heck?
I’m 64. I remember going to the grocery store with my dad and bread was 5 loaves for $1!!
I remember in my small Iowa town, walking to the store to get a gallon of milk for 50 cents.
I'm 58 years old. I can remember when I was starting university. You used to be able to buy a package of 12 craft dinners for$1.99. And when I got my first car I remembered gas as being $0.65¢ I guess our generation was very lucky.
I remember when a brown paper bag held 50 $ in groceries. When milk was in glass bottles with deposit or those newfangled waxed cardboard cartons that recycled into fire starters. When potato chips were a treat and Charles Chips were delivered in a can.
Why, though, are ppl buying canned soup when it's cheaper and better to make your own? Have a CORN night. Clean out the refrigerator night once a week through all your veggies, meat in a pot, and make your own soup.
Every morning when I wake up at 5:30 I’m getting ready for work and I start my day with the Poplar Report

Our local Foodtown Supermarket used to have about 30' of refrigerated meat cases against the back wall, fully stocked with meats. We went there the other day, and the meat case is now only about 6' long, and not even full of meat. That really scared me! What a huge difference.
Knorr side dishes states that there's only 1 serving in a single package. So the high prices on that product are absolutely ridiculous, since you can't feed your family on 1 single package, you have to buy 4 packages for a family of 4 people, and that turns out to be highly expensive on a tight budget and low income families.
That's why there's boxes of pasta nearby for way less per pound. All pre-made foods have more labor cost. You don't want to feed your family that crap anyways, it's easy to season noodles I swear.
Making croutons are easy and my h cheaper plus I can put in them what u want no chemicals
Norr packaged foods are bioengineered
Cream of soup is just milk gravy with flavoring. Keep in your pantry bullion, seasonings and flour in your fridge butter and milk or you can use powdered or canned milk. You can make cream of soup that is healthier for you and cost pennies.😅
Spot-on! Folks type in “cream of any soup” in RUclips gives you shelf stable cream of soup or gravy easy throw together recipes saves you tons of money. Keep on your counter or store in your freezer to extend shelf life out extra year. I found Nido whole milk (Nestle product) best to use in recipes.

I tossed about 3/4 of a bottle about 2 weeks ago. The mother had turned into a slimy, snotty looking ball of mess. Not sure how or why, but it's def not going into our bodies. I have been buying braggs forever and a day until this, never again. I will learn how to make my own.

Hello Steve, from Dusty Acres.
Welcome to the Grand Canyon state.
I'm in rural NW Arizona, grew up in SW Arizona. My spouse and I come from very large families. We have relatives as well as friends throughout the state.
Many in Arizona are Mormons, Catholics or Native Americans even in rural areas and small towns. The people often have large families, they get together often and they also help everyone in the community. Most people usually are related to each other or know each other because they are after all, our hometowns. Although the past 4 years, we have many that have moved here from big cities into our rural areas. Some will stay but often, many move on. Our towns have grown in population and traffic is terrible because we didn't have the infrastructure for so many vehicles that are now on our roads. There are many traffic accidents now. Our schools are over crowded too. Often for the newbies, I believe it is a culture shock not to have many modern conveniences. They are often surprised and concerned, they actually call the police on people because many open or conceal carry here in Arizona. It had happens to my nephew often. We do not need a permit to carry, for open or concealed. We will buy in bulk because we actually do cook at home, take lunches to work and preserve food for an emergency. We often re-can some bulk items for everyday use , not long term store. We will put flour, sugar and other items into smaller containers. There are not fast food restaurants, grocery stores or even convenience stores near many of us. Sometimes I don't go to town but once a month.
Many live many miles from town and on dirt roads, like us. Believe it or not, many have to haul water or have it delivered and many are not on the power grid because there is no power out in their area. Water comes from an aquifer that is thousands of feet down or what one can collect during rain. They rely on other ways for their utilities. Also we get storms often, even wind/ dust storms due to the high winds in our area, the power goes out often, so does the internet connection if one has it at all. We have to be self sufficient. We also deal with wildlife, all kinds of snakes, yes even rattle snakes, scorpions, coyotes, skunks, deer, Rams, Elk, roaming cattle livestock and much more. Arizona is open range country, so cattle and livestock are allowed everywhere, even on our roads. Livestock has the right of way believe it or not. Unfortunately if someone hits one, that person will be held accountable and have to pay for that animal and if its a bull, one will pay dearly to the rancher. If the cow is pregnant, the person will have to pay for the cow and unborn calf. This is because the cattle is the livelihood of the rancher. A person must pay for their own secure fence to keep cattle off of their property otherwise any damage done by the cattle will cost the homeowner not the rancher. Please be careful and alert when driving in Arizona.
I hope this helps others that may visit or move to Arizona.
Stay safe and enjoy your visit to Arizona. There is a lot of history here in Arizona with many things to do, especially for the outdoors type person.
It is a beautiful state. Currently the desert is full of color because of all the wild flowers and cacti that are in bloom.
You covered it all brother! I'm S. AZ near Nogi. Love Arizona, lived all over bit always end up back here.
Stay safe man!!
@@jerrywilbur7020 I have lots of family and friends in S. Arizona, Nogales, Tucson, Bisbee and Sierra Vista, etc. You stay safe down there, crime is way up from the reports I'm getting from family because of the non US citizen that are now there. I get updates a couple times a week from family of how the hospitals and clinics are full and store shelves are sparse. They have trouble getting pricriptions filled too. They make trips to Tucson and Phoenix to try to stock up because they can't find some items and prices are up there as well.
Always try to be aware of your surroundings. Watch out for cattle and livestock there too. My niece's husband hit one at night on a dark road, they paid dearly for it and their insurance rates went up.
We don't need your whole life story in a comment...keep it to the point.
@@lauralee5313 just trying to educate those not from rural Arizona. Steve himself said, he wasn't use to seeing people carrying nor use to seeing bulk supplies.
Have a great Sunday!
@dustyacres2052 thank you for your description. I live in the Phoenix-metro area, and I always appreciate visiting the parts of Arizona you described. This is a beautiful state with interesting history.
It's killing me! In Tannersville, PA, they tore down the beautiful and historic Tannersville Inn and Restaurant that was built in 1825 and are replacing it with a huge Wawa gas station and convenience store. Just what we needed!!!!! 😡
Yea well they're destroying history 🙄 as usual 😖
Sick and wrong 😢
So sorry for your loss; but to rewrite history you must destroy (like the statues)
I'm in La, they are tearing down the beautiful old houses here along mainstreet and putting in fast food restaurants. The KFC that they threw up in one of the lots went under in about a year. People here don't want that junk.
😢
UPDATE: I work for a large convenience store chain in the upper Minnesota. While stocking the butter I noticed that the expiration date on today's delivery was August 24 2024. As I rotated the butter I found some on the edge of the shelf where folks rarely take had an expiration date of March 1 2025. I have also this trend at the Family Dollar where I also work.
I posted a chicken video from 2019 last night on my channel, the hens were eating a .49 cent cabbage. Now under Biden $4.78 for one cabbage
That's insane! I haven't paid attention to cabbage prices because I can't even find them here. I will be growing some!
There is never enough olives around the home for me. I would rather have olives than any cookie, cupcake or candy. Black or green, makes no difference, I love them all.
And I'm not good about sharing my olives.
I love them, too, but be careful of salt; it adds up quickly. Just one green olive contains 62.4 mgs of sodium. 12 have 749 mg of sodium. That's 1/3 of the recommended daily salt intake for an adult. Black olives are better at only 27 mgs. 28 black olives are about 1/3 of recommended daily salt intake.
@@MoonMan1956that’s true. I have to be careful about my salt intake. But olives are my favorite snack. Luckily, it doesn’t take many to satisfy a craving.
@@amymorales4622 👍
FINALLY someone understands the olives 😂. My husband thinks I am crazy that I love them sooo much.
Mayonnaise is really easy to make, I do it all the time; here is a quick recipe that tastes like Helmon's Mayonnaise: you will need a blender, or a strong arm and a whisk and a food safe container, and a spoon or flat tool to push down the mayonnaise on the sides of the blender or bowl:
2 eggs (you can get away with one egg)
1 cup avocado oil (you can use olive oil but it will add a taste, or you can use any 'light' oil)
2 tablespoons plain white vinegar
1/2 tsp (you can use 1/4 if it's too strong for you) garlic powder (NOT salt)
1tsp salt
put the egg(s), salt, and garlic powder into a bowl or your blender; blend, or whisk;
blender: with the blender running slowly pour in 1/2 the oil, then add 1 table spoon of white vinegar; it will thicken, slowly add the rest of the oil (it might get so thick that you have to stop the blender and push down the sides), then the last tablespoon of vinegar; stop the blender, push down the sides quickly incorporate, then put into container (it should taste like mayonnaise) and refrigerate.
If hand blending it will take longer, and you will stop whisking to add more oil, it will take longer to thicken but will do so, just follow the directions. Once thickened to mayonnaise consistency, then put into a container and refrigerate.
It will last a week in the fridge.
By making it yourself you will control ingredients AND save money. This is considered Keto & Carnivore safe, and low glycemic (you'll have to check to see how to count if diabetic).
Take care everyone, we're all in this together
Thank you.😊
Thanks!

UPDATE Palm Beach county FL canned beef gone here too. We've never gotten Keystone here, but get a brand called Butcherblock. $12 a can. Wiped out. Also, my husband opened a can of pork and beans last night and said lots more water, less pork and beans
Have you ever considered legumes as a source of protein?
Same here in NW Florida. I found butcherblock, no keystone. I had to go a town over to find 11 cans.
Broward county in Florida here, first time ever I see empty shelves but meat and diary still good. However things don't look right and canned food going fast. I heard to get meat quick as they are killing cows now. What a world

Good Morning everyone from East Tennessee, Keep stacking it t the rafters ❤❤
Good morning from NH!
Here in West Georgia the Walmarts don’t have the Prepper section. They have a small section of large cans and bulk containers. Not an Auguson farms product in sight.
At my Walmart they only have one or two cans of Auguston.
Same in central Alabama
There are no Auguson farms type of freeze dried foods in the Walmart in Central Wisconsin. I wish they did.
I don't think our Walmarts in NC have the prepper section either.
Sometimes, our Walmart puts Auguson Farms or other freeze dried foods in the aisle of the Sporting Goods section to appeal to customers who are getting ready to go camping.
Update. Sam’s in St Charles, Mo is very low in all meats and no rotisserie chicken.
Usually, it is on a weekend, though, when ppl go shop there. Our COSCO traffic on a Sat and Sunday wind down the street. The store is pretty wiped out after the weekends.
Last week we went to Walmart grocery store. I couldn't help notice most of the name brand goods were no longer being sold or were not available. A small order of groceries that did not include milk, cheese, salads etc cost us $265.00 . We don't like great value because generally we find it isn't a great value. We purchased a strawberry & rhubarb pie and when we went to serve it we counted 20 small pieces of rhubarb and NO strawberries. They did have a strawberry gelly added to the rhubarb but NO strawberries. Buyer beware.
UPDATE: Cullman, Alabama, 40 miles north of Birmingham. Walmart deli and bakery have closed down.
There's a full explanation to all of this, people need to know the truth, but you're not going to get it here. It's perplexing and painful. I see the confusion and wish and believe everyone should know the truth about what is going on. It pains me to watch the confusion and anxiety I imagine is building. The truth would be better than this.
@@NancyK-cu6xj So what is it?
I live in a rural area and this Walmart looks much better stocked than the one near me. I only go to Walmart if there is no where else that I can go. We're fairly limited on where we can go, but we have an Amish store where we do most of our grocery shopping.
Wish there were more Amish outlets. In West Georgia we don’t have any . That sucks.
update: northeast pa walmart no vinegar at all shelf was empty never seen walmart without vinegar canners be aware stock up now they dont want us to be food secure!!!!!!!
There are a lot of things they are doing to "restrict" food, but let's understand about vinegar before we jump to conclusions that aren't true. The collapse in oil production, as a result of the global shutdowns and reduced fuel consumption, has led to an extreme shortage of petrochemicals such as methanol. As a result, acetic acid production has also been reduced significantly. Vinegar is a combination of acetic acid and water made by a two-step fermentation process. This why stores are low or out of vinegar.
Be sure it's 5% or your work will spoil.
@@gailhonadle5182... ABSOLUTELY!
Regional Australia here .. the shelves haven’t been fully stocked since covid here. (Woolies). No real shortages just not fully stocked.
Probably staff are too lazy to restock.
Walmart became very sensitive to high store inventories during covid. They had to pay a lot of taxes on inventory l. They are focusing in on not maintaining high inventories as a way to control overhead costs due to those taxes. That is why you don't see the stores with high inventories as they used to have. It is not nefarious. It is not due to implied shortages. It is only a business decision to improve profits.
Why do "accountants by trade" imply otherwise? Is it for increased subscribers or views? Is it to sell more gold and silver?
You can con anyone if you create enough greed or fear.
@@Jimjoe12 I would believe it!

I have been going to the mobile food truck in my county and I have noticed that I get 10 lb. at one spot and a couple weeks later the other spot gives out rice. I have already canned up 50 lbs of potatoes this year.
Back in the day, the local grocery chain in Phoenix, named 'Smitty's' had a sign near the door, to the effect, 'Check all firearms at the counter'. Ahhhhh good times :-)

That wallmart is cool. The only emergency food they have at the wallyworld by me is the little packets of mt house in the camping section and it ia super expensive.
Yep, same. I used to buy the Neapolitan freeze dried icecream sand which for 2$ years back for a snack on ride home if the ammo section didn’t have anything I wanted from it 🎉 ❤ it’s $4 now forget that 🫤
Mine too! I never see the big cans or buckets of emergency food at my local ones. Just camping meals.
Same with our Walmart’s in my area, north of Los Angeles. No long term food except for individual Mountain House meals in the camping section.
The biggest reason is that a lot of Mormons live in our area, as well as Utah and Nevada. Part of their religion says they must have up to 3 years of food storage at all times. Smart folks!
I went shopping today at the local grocery store. Normally here in San Diego we dont see shortages. Even during the height of the pandemic we wernt seeing shortages like the rest of the country was seeing. Today there were big gaps/half the usual amount of potatos and other random things (mostly produce). It was weird. I went early in the morning after they just restocked. Also, the beef area was very very low. Iv never seen that before.

The other thing about rural America this time of year is that they may be stocking up for branding season. Depending on the size of your herd you might have anywhere from 20 to 100 neighbors over for the branding and no branding would be complete without the after-action feast, including multiple pies.
Really? That sounds amazing, a day of work as a community and then a feast after to celebrate a job well done.

As solar capacity grows, some of America's most productive farmland is at risk. The solar industry is pushing into the Midwest, drawn by wide-open fields, cheaper land rents, access to electric transmission and federal and state incentives. The boom risks damaging some of America's richest agricultural soils. Reuters.
Update. On the Airbnb site they have made a change of policy. For bookings and things before June 6th 2024 expect executive decisions to be made it says for the upcoming June 6th 2024. I guess there's going to be an announcement. Keep your ears open
Sorry I'm driving to work using Bluetooth if that didn't sound right anyway yes go check out the policy I don't know if you have to have an account like I do. You should be able to Google it
1 Cashier, no help for Seniors. W. TN. Our feed store closed in the lockdown, is up for sale, so we now only have Tractor Supply. I used to get my garden seeds by pound or a half pound. No Farmer's Markets close by.

Good early morning from Southern California. 😀💕☀️
Update Savannah Georgia. Just went to one of our newer dollar tree stores. They still had a few of the $.25 seed packets left, but they have been well picked over. The health and beauty section was about half empty. So was the cleaning products. They were putting the larger bottles of dishwashing soap on the top shelves. I’m 5 foot eight I was able to get one of them. The refrigerator section looked well picked over. One of the things they’ve started to carry is fully pasteurized milk, which does not have to be refrigerated The one I got has Best Buy date of 02/04/25. Always remember to get boxes of matches and lighters while you’re in the store. 😊
Great video Steve, love your channel. Things are getting crazy. I just thought i would share that I bought a great logbook on amazon to record all my preps and help me plan meals with food storage. I've got things scattered in a few different locations and keep forgetting what I have or need. It's a thick book but should last a long time and has lots of tips. Anyway, I'm just excited about it. It's called Long-term Food Storage Logbook, Inventory Tracking and Meal Planning.
City Walmarts blow. Always the same old same old.
I'm loaded up on chef boyardee.
EwwWWWWW🤢🤮🎉😂
Problem is if you get gastronomy bleeding you’ll never know by the color of your 💩 eating CB 😢
I love Chef Boyardee ravioli, but I don't eat it anymore because of the salt load. There is 1350 mg of sodium in one can. Daily recommended intake of sodium for an adult is less than 2,300 mg per day-that's equal to about 1 teaspoon of table salt!
@@JFEnterprize Same for anything you eat that is red, orange, purple, etc. That's why you can consume any drinks, popsicles, etc. with those colors before a colonoscopy.
The GV coffee, big can, went up to $10.xx and somewhere along the way recently, went from 48 oz to 40.5 oz, same price. Just more shrinkflation!
2 months ago, when in DG an associate told me that the trucks just aren't' showing up at their store. Aside from holey shelves, that was the 1st time I really felt the reality....smacked in the face with this whole 'wake up and smell the coffee' issues that we are now facing. (Riverside Co., CA)

There were 17 tornadoes in a small area of Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia on April 2. this year. We never have then, maybe one in 15 to 20 years
Chemicals changing the weather!!
@@johnyoung9874 I'm sure that's the reason.
That's how we roll in Nevada 😂😂open carry and stocked shelves..walmart still has high prices 🎉
UPDATE the Acv is Fairchilds organic.
I've been saying the pastas and noodles changed ...but nobody would listen.
They now have plastic and crickets in them.
I got sick three times in a row in one month right after eating them. They became a hard lump in my stomach that wouldn't digest. Finally threw all away . Will never touch them.agsin..
It is sad for college age kids , those kinds of cheap noodles were a staple food for them.
I used to eat kraft pasta in college in the 80s; never had a problem, they used to be real food.
We haven't seen shortages here in Fairfax County in Northern Virginia near Washington DC.
NW Washington DC is so normal that you would never know there were issues with the economy.
Imagine that, the richest 12 counties in the nation.... Go figure
Is smart city?
@muddyshoesgardener ....Are you there? I go to the VA up there, but haven't done shopping there. Only here in Virginia.
@nikimethadonefreeiam1800 What is SMART CITY? I don't understand. So sorry.
Have a Blessed Day, Steve!

Sams club in Plattsburg N Y is stocked to the ceiling , and I mean ceiling ! Don’t see many Canadian plates things must be ok in Quebec .
I live rural, am a scratch cook and baker, so travel about 100 miles for groceries. There are small grocery or convenience stores 10 to 20 miles away but they just stock mostly pre-packaged, chemical laden foods, lots of sodas and snack type 'food'.
Maybe people are stocking up and buying food doesn’t mean there’s a shortage
It's both. People are stocking up for what is coming, and there are shortages that are not related to stocking up but to our food supply chain and production.
There is if it’s not at the store
I think many can't afford to do large stock up hauls right now but more folks are putting back what they can, when they can, if only to beat inflation.
@@MoonMan1956 Summer?
@@SavetheWorld74 I don't see how we make it through the summer. I don't believe they can hold it together until the elections without an economic collapse and/or war. And certainly, no matter who gets elected, there is probably going to be civil unrest.
Update: SW Ohio ( Hanover township) went to get a loaf of bread yesterday. Went to 3 stores and the bread section were empty, Iga, dollar general , and Jamie's market empty, though Jamie's did have 2 packs of hamburger buns. ( We picked up 1) My niece said they went shopping and the bread aisle was really low at Aldi on Friday. Not sure if everyone just missed the bread trucks last week or what. Have a great day all and God bless.
Make your own bread. It's one of the easiest things to make.
@@P2Zip I did later in the day, as you know it takes a bit to make bread and having 3 teens wanting sandwiches, really can't wait😂
@@P2ZipYou still have to have flour or wheat to make bread. Over 20 years I've spent prepping I have had problems with moths. It's good to keep flour in the freezer, but that space is also needed for meat etc. I try to keep a few bread products in the freezer. I'm lucky 😂 that my power goes out fairly often to keep me on my toes to prepare for grid down. These days are so challenging and exhausting. If only someone, anyone,😢😢 who's probably planning on coming to my house would help in any way at any time at all.😢
Considering the majority of store bought bread is made with discarded human hair( china has the shops save cut hair) they pick it up, it gets mixed with an acid then is sold to companies ( bakeries) as a fiber, which is used in most bread and pastries here in good ole " company gunia pigs usa.
@@pegsol3834I keep wheat and flour in mylar after freezing for 3 days, I dump it into mylar bags with oxygen absorbers. I do that with most grain products, keeps them bug free long term.
Buy the shelf stable Parmesan cheese without that gross sawdust filler. Its in smaller glass jars.
Morning! I enjoy your videos. Question! Once you open the dehydrated cans, how long do these cans last after? Thanks for the updates!!
My 10 can of Dehydrated Potato Shreds says to use within one year after opening.
They start to go bad pretty fast... as they get moist they will start to go bad. Keep them dry once opened.. Use the lid and/or use zip lock bags
When I open a dehydrated #10 can, I'll mylar bag some of it up and add an oxygen absorber to it. Good for years. Then I'll use what's left in the can within a year. If it's something like onions, I'll divide it into a lot of smaller mylar bags, and open them as needed. The mylar bags and oxygen absorbers are inexpensive, and sold on Amazon.
We live just north of Phoenix. This is what we see in our Walmart.

We eat pasta in rural towns but many of us who are rural make our own breads and pastas and some of us are milling our own wheat. On the soups - make your own!!!! It’s cheap and easy!
Update: There's 3 Walmarts around here in Cumberland Co. NC. They have canning stuff limited, but no prepping food whatsoever.
Steve.. what you are seeing mostly... is the standard operating procedure for a grocery that is short on employees.
Order just enough just for the shelf unless it's a sale item or seasonal surge.
Only handle product once to get it to the shelf. Backstock means somebody has to handle stuff twice and you don't have people for that.
Bad people don't rotate stock.
Whatever is at the back of the shelf stays there.
Everything an employee has to touch something it cost you time for people you don't have.
Shortages sure. But what your showing is more a shortage of manpower.
This is why Sam's is so attractive. Just put a pallet out.
You are correct my friend.
Yep, Arizona we are open carry among concealed. They passed that law several years ago and I’m so grateful!
Don’t mess with Arizona, it can feel like the Wild West depending on where you go. ❤ I loved what dustyacres2052 explained in their explanation of how our rural communities work in the above comments! It is truly that way here in Arizona. I’ve lived here all my life with a few years moving out of state due to husbands job transfer. Arizona is my love! There’s no place like it… I miss how things were growing up tho…. the metro area just isn’t the same as the dessert communities that once existed in Maricopa county. But you can bet your bottom dollar NATIVES (born & bread) to Arizona have a different mindset most definitely! ❤🏜️Welcome to our state Steve. Hope you take some time and travel all that Arizona has to offer and it’s rich history. ❤🌵🏜️ lots to do here! Take care and be safe! 🌵🌼☀️
Thank you for your reports from different areas of the US.
Update along Colorado river area of Arizona. I did go this week to Walmart, which I don’t normally do. They had lots of chicken at the Walmart here. But not much beef in a can because I was looking for that beef that everybody keeps saying to his stock on the shelf. They only had their Walmart brand. But there was huge amount of chicken and I did not want any chicken.
Y’all make your own ac vinegar. Those have been bought out by big corporations and no telling what’s in that crap.
Amazon has Augason Farms on sale: Potato Shreds (1 LB 7 OZ, $9.47 instead of $15.99) and Potato Shreds (3 LB, $14.88 instead of $28.99). What isn't clear is the meaning of the 2013 "Date First Available" - are some types already past their shelf life?
They have BIOENGINEERED ingredients in them
@@ultramagapatriot5874 I just looked at their dehydrated potato shred labels -- I saw nothing that says "bioengineered", so tell us what those bioengineered ingredients are, please.
@@homesteadgal4143 From the Augason Farms website FAQs. QUESTION: Do you offer products that are certified non-GMO? ANSWER: We do not. Because we source raw ingredients from numerous suppliers throughout the United States and occasionally from international locations, we are unable to certify that our products are consistently non-GMO. They just don't list GMO on their labels because the law is they must if the KNOW the food contains GMO. They are skirting the issue. Eventually, the FDA will probably require them to make such a statement on their label. Right now, the basic minimum label requirement is "Contains GMO" if they know it does or are actively including GMO's. It does not cover "we don't know".
If you want pure food you will have to raise it yourself and can or dehydrate yourself as well.

AZ is open carry almost everywhere! It's a bit of an adjustment for blue state folks!! 😉
You know the world is upside down when a guy from Texas sees a guy in Arizona open-carry and is surprised by it.
In my area of NH, open carry is not uncommon. It would probably raise some eyebrows in the s.e. corner, where the population is denser and many folks commute to the Boston area for work. It does indeed give you a start if you're not used to seeing it.
My local stores are well stocked. Weekly loss leaders/sale items tend to sell out in a few days if it's a popular item. Produce quality has gone downhill on many products. Prices are high on most things, of course.
