Everytime I play the game, when the flashbacks happen, whether you're in a classroom or in the hallways, if you turn your nightvision off, with just enough light in the room, it looks like the walls are rotting, as well as the ground and ceiling, as if nobody has been in there for ages. I think that the truth came out about what the priest did, and they just closed down the entire school.
Yeah that’s true, but I see her point. Maybe the scenes you go through school somehow reflect what and how it all happened back in the day (excluding Blake’s hallucination results such as the priest demon with multiple hands, you know). I believe after Blake children saw Jessica agonizing in the stairs, the priest chased Blake to make to the bathroom stalls making sure he wouldn’t say anything, who knows... maybe he was indeed trying to kill him too due to he witnessed the crime! Thankfully Blake managed to escape from him safe and sound and probably told everything to police, leading to father Loutermilch arrest or something, and hence closing the school. That would explain the sense of trauma and guilt Blake experiences as an adult while reliving all of those moments in the most horrific ways...
You can really hear him getting desperate near the end, as if he's justifying what's he's done, what he's probably already BEEN doing, what he most likely will continue to do.....but deep down, he knows the truth He killed Jessica. She may have tied the rope, but it was his filthy fucking fingers who gave her a reason
She didn't actually kill herself. Loutermilch just made it look like she killed herself by hanging her and also writing the fake suicide note. He either pushed Jessica down the stairs (which ended up killing her) or while Loutermilch was chasing her she fell down the stairs (which would've also killed her). Either way Loutermilch is a terrible character.

After rethinking, I believe it was an "accident". I think she fell down the stairs while Loutermilch was chasing her. At one point he said something like: "Thank you god for killing the child" I think he was thanking him for finally getting rid of her and removing his sick temptations. I also don't think he would've killed her because he could've very simply killed Blake right as Blake saw what happened to Jessica. Instead he told him some stuff so he would keep quiet. As far as I know, he didn't do anything to Blake.

I think we can all agree Outlast 2 would have been REALLY dark if they kept in some deleted footage. I mean, shit, there's unused audio of Loutermilch molesting Jessica and there was a very much more longer and graphic scene of Val raping Blake. This sequel was by far more dark than the first Outlast, but that's what makes it awesome.
