this video is so helpful and motivating! the thought of going to a new country while being vegetarian/vegan is somewhat overwhelming but this video is so informative!
Dearest Corny, this might hands down be one of my new favourite videos of yours. Editing, music choice, the short introduction voice over and general info overview at the beginning were absolutely lovely! It had everything from sweets cafés and lunch spots to fine dining and patisserie. I do enjoy meat but in the last few years have really focused on only buying organic meat (or "Bio" as one says in Germany), free range eggs and cutting my overall consumption and so on. I often feel like vegan or vegetarian meat options sometimes have a less heavy feel than the original with the majority of the dish being coordinated by veggies and salads and beans etc. It's perfect for lunch idk? ^^ When I lived in Kobe there was a café called Modernark Pharm Café that specialized in vegetarian and vegan cuisine which is then again sourced by local farms. I immediately fell in love with it, often stayed in their glass terrace while working for uni and am already looking forward to going there again after starting my master's in Kyoto. I can only recommend it! Thanks again for the fantastic and beautiful content :) you definitely have me adding more places on my Google maps "want to visit" makers 😊!
Awww thank you! It did take a little extra research and editing to make it more accurate and meaningful to vegans or people wishing to eat the same as you do. I totally agree, I do feel vegan food is a lot lighter so ideal for lunch! Happy to help! Thanks for the Kobe recommendation and good luck with your masters 🍀💕
I appreciate this so much! I am more pescatarian, but I still eat poultry (for now). This is a worry for me with all the things you mentioned. The moss ball, pebble salad looked so cool 😎
Not vegan but I do love a good plant based meal. Didn’t know I needed this vid but you did lmao. I’m adding some of these spots to my list. Happy Sunday/Monday Corny! 💖
Another great video! Thank you so much Corny! Traveling abroad as a vegetarian has always been challenging. Hoping to visit Japan one day soon, which will be my first country in Asia. Was a bit worried, but your optimism and fun spirit gave me hope! 🌼
The food options look so good, regardless of being vegan 🌱 or not, looks really tasty and I’d love to try these dishes out too!💚🥙🥑. When I next go out to eat and I’ll give it a try! 🥯🍵Thank you for the video! 🙏❤
Everything looks SO good!! I'm not vegan but I try to eat more vegan foods every now and then as I need more vegies in my diet haha~ Beautiful video as always Corny!
I'm very familiar with Falafel Brothers and Great Lakes, but the others are new. I will ask my vegan friend if she has been to them. Have you heard about Masaka? It's in the basement of the same building Falafel Brothers is in Shibuya and it's kind of like izakaya style vegan. Very good, but it's usually jam packed with a long wait.
Thank you! These were all filmed at different points in time. That’s why my hair style and face shape changes. I often fluctuate in weight too 🤣💕 but I thank you haha it seems you enjoy me in all forms 😆 happy you enjoyed it x
Corny, our internet friendship is over... How can you share my secret vegan directory Happy Cow, now everyone knows the good vegan spots around the world. I've been using HC for years now. The vegan food in Japan is nice, from someone who has been vegan since I was a child. Great vlog again
when they said maple walnut they meant literally huh? there was only walnut on it. lol and ah yes...the mcdonald's fries aren't vegan plot twist...it tripped me out too. lol
yep quite literally... that's how I feel about Japanese cheesecakes here 🤣 yk'now the Mc Donalds thing actually makes sense just never had to think about it until I made this video. The Vegan's out there are battling 💚
