im someone who has no plans of going to japan any time soon but had a random insomniac panic thought at 6am thinking "omg would i be able to eat properly in japan as a vegetarian randomly" 😂😂 so glad i found this channel!!!
I wanted to visit Japan because I have Japanese friends, but I am worried that I will not be able to find something that I can eat except sweets and fruits.
Omg. I am sooo so happy I found your channel!! I’m visiting Japan for 2 weeks in March and everyone keeps telling me how hard it is to find vegan food around 😔 but you have been extremely helpful! And I’m so excited to try some of these places 🫶🏻 thank you so much 💌
Thanks for your vegan food eaters in Tokyo. I'm going there in spring and seeing your reviews is way better than just reading Happy Cow reviews. For what it's worth, I never trust Google reviews when it comes to vegan places to eat, you'd be surprised just how many meat eaters enter comments. They're coming at it from a different direction. Peas & love❤
Thank you for sharing this! I’ve been vegan for 9 years and I’ve been told a lot “you know there will be situations while traveling where you’re going to have to eat meat right?” 😂 glad to see this content out there. Would love to see Korea as well.
Any idea how often tree nuts like almonds or cashews were used in the foods you ate? I have an allergy so I have to be extra careful when eating vegan abroad! 😭 everything looked so good!
Ngl I cackled out loud way too many times - your sense of humor is elite. Anyway, heading to Japan in a few weeks and I had a few of these places on my list but not all of them and now... well, they are all pretty much on there! thanks for putting this together!!
Nice, lots of options now! The only one I've tried was t's tan tan, which I liked, but my friend is allergic to peanuts and was unimpressed. Thanks for the fun vegan trip around Tokyo! Subscribed.
New subscriber! 👋🏾😄 Haha I REALLY enjoyed watching you review the vegan food there in Japan. You’re fun and hilarious 😂. Thank you for sharing with us! I will try to visit every place you mentioned on our next visit, which I can not wait!
Looked up vegan food in tokyo and came across your channel. You are sooo cute!!! And I loved your reviews. You make me excited to eat my way through Tokyo now! You seem to know what good food is so I'm going to trust your reviews and check out the places you loved! 🤗
This was a great video! Thank you so much for filming all of that and talking through your experience. The top and lowest reviews are also interesting and FUNNY! Keep it up! :)
I LOVED THIS VIDEO!! the wait you edit and everything idk, so fun and nice to watch. you got yourself a new subscriber here :- ) (came from a clip about this video in ig reels 🐎)
This is the best Japan food video I’ve ever seen. Thanks so much! I haven’t been since 2018 and just booked flights for November and your video has me soooo excited to go!
It’s my pleasure! There are lots of resources out there, have you tried apps like happycow or abillion? If not a simple google map search around the area that you’ll be going works too! I personally think that the vegan options in Japan are a lot, if you do your research properly, you will not struggle to find them :)
i loved every minute of this! all the foods look so interesting and exciting and its cool watching you explore the city. never knew most of these items existed and now i really want to try them all xD
I'm not vegan or even vegetarian, but these foods look really good, so I'd definitely try some of it if having the chance to visit Japan. I really hate fish and don't even want to eat anything with fish components in it if I can help it, so at least sometimes, a vegan or vegetarian option could be more suitable for me in Japan. My absolute favorite sushi for example is the kind with tofu skin around the rice. In my case it could also be interesting to compare a regular fruit sando with a vegan version. One of my favorite Asian desserts is actually shaved ice with red bean paste. Being Swedish, it did catch me a little bit off guard the first time I had it while in China, I just wasn't used to beans being sweet, but I really enjoyed it and it became a dessert I ordered more than once during my stays in China. I was vegetarian for some time little over 20 years ago, but it just wasn't working out for my body at all. I wasn't feeling well on a vegetarian diet even with me being lacto ovo vegetarian. I just wasn't getting enough protein (that my body could utilize- I do have some issues with absorbing nutrients through just food, so have managed the feat of getting B12 deficiency on an omnivore diet while also taking vitamin supplement, and right now I'm dealing with potassium deficiency... Yay...) so yeah, for health reasons I can't do vegan or vegetarian diet full time, but that said, I do opt for vegetarian options from time to time either for single meals or for a day or so.
Your videos are very helpful & suitable for me.Are these food contains any kind of alcohol like sake or wine etc . Thanks a lot in advance for your great efforts
Wow I have not heard of this before 😱 thanks for letting everyone know! I only know that the sauce (if it comes with the natto) usually contains non-vegan products, not the natto itself
That vegan food is really expensive. You can get normal ramen for 500 yen. The vegan is double, or in some cases even more than double of that price. Also its written in english there, so its probably considered mainly for foreigners
I’m so glad that you’re making so many vegan Japan videos! You provide so much insight (and humor)
It’s my pleasure!! ☺️☺️
girl you are so funny. came for the vegan food, stayed for your humor 😌 so happy to watch your channel grow

Welcome to the BV club 🥳
Natto sometimes has gelatin added during production, so it's not going to be a reliable vegan option if you just walk into a random store
Wow I have not heard of this before 😱 thanks for letting everyone know! I only know that the sauce (if it comes with the natto) usually contains non-vegan products, not the natto itself
what’s a good time to visit japan though? it looked really hot when you went 😂
Any season other than summer if you prefer cooler weather haha
cool video, thank you. i laughed several times, too :D
HAHA thank you for watching the video!!
Thanks so much!
Can you tell me vegan food with no garlic and no onion? Thank you 😃
I’m not so sure about allium free options but there are definitely allium free options in Japan!
Where are you from sister . Love your videos ❤
Watch till the end and you will find out 😉
Hi can i ask you what is the name of the classical song at minute 2 ?
Luigi boccherini string quintet :)
How do i know if it is vegan? 😊 I am travelling in two weeks and am so afraid of getting vegan food
If you are afraid of eating non-vegan food you can just go to fully vegan eateries.
That vegan food is really expensive. You can get normal ramen for 500 yen. The vegan is double, or in some cases even more than double of that price. Also its written in english there, so its probably considered mainly for foreigners
