So few can turn such a tight corner with a nice cut and what looks like minimal effort. What make is this tool and Where did you get it ? It's an electric creaser. It's connected to an outlet in the wall to produce heat in the tip so that a crease line in the leather can be formed. It's done for decorative purposes, or to make a channel for the thread to sink into to protect the thread. In the old days a leather creaser was heated by a spirit lamp. Today, electricity, heat gun, and spirit lamp are all used. It's precise work: too much heat will "melt" the leather and create a too deep crease line, too little heat will create nothing at all and you will have to use your body weight to comepensate for lack of heat (which is not advised). That's why with electric creasers you can regulate the temperature.

Sometimes I use Edge paint on veg tanned leather. Can use both.
