- sup gaymers. this is my first animatic, so please be nice! i enjoyed making it, and i was sitting at my desk for three days. it's not perfect but what is? (olive 7/11's animatics) thanks for coming to my TED talk
Woah....what is it with classic monster musicals ending with the title character dying besides their co-star? Think about it, Jekyll and Hyde died in his wife's arms and Dracula crumbled to dust by the knife of his love, Mina. And now Victor dies in his son's arms, in possibly the saddest death I've seen in all of the musicals I've seen.

death is the ultimate end, and to bring the emotions out, death happens in front of the ones who are affected the most, their pain projected on us. happens in my favourite musical, les miserables too, as valjean dies in front of his beloved daughter, cosette, and dang it, it makes you cry! and go back for more!
It's tragic and emocional (and i love them :'( ), I need a version happy of all these musicals
The message of Jekyll and Hyde or Frankenstein would not work if there was a happy ending.

Aah, I loved it! I like to see that this fandom isn’t dead yet (I mean, it’s slowly dying, but every time it dies there is some Victor that resurrects the fandom once again).
Oh, I liked the expressions.
And the design of Varian- I... I mean Victor, yea, Victor Frankenstein. It is unofficial canon in the book that he was blonde, and his parents adopted the Elizabeth just for the fact she was a blonde little angel and was originally from rich family... but hey, fandom version has him with black hair although Victor was probably blonde, so it’s a nice detail :-)

I really enjoyed it! The animatic fitted very well! Thought sometimes the notes like "how do boats look like?" took a bit of the atmosphere, this is not a big one though.

This is really well done!! Great Job!!
This is one of the best musical endings of all time. Jekyll and Hyde’s ending was unpredictable and chaotic like most of the rest of the show, Phantom’s ending was too loud, and Les Misérables… there’s nothing wrong with Les Misérables. This ending is quiet, returns to the framing device, and reprises possibly the flagship song of the show. It’s just great and should’ve made it to broadway.
