I love how desperately is everyone trying to tell Victor that he should stop doing everything he does and delete himself, yet Victor is here, our tragic, romantic literature hero to whom the fate is so cruel he is oh so sad he could collapse into nearby floor every five seconds.
I can’t even tell you how hard I laughed at all of this. But you certainly had me dead at Creature’s movements in “Victor you complete this task” and “What is it Victor needs to Hyde”
Elizabeth is Victor’s cousin in the 1818 novel while she is his adopted sister/childhood sweetheart in the 1831 version. Don’t worry, cousin marriages were typical in the Georgian Era.
I know! I've only ever read the 1818 version. When I made this I was part of a segment of the Frankenstein fandom that VEHEMENTLY opposed the relationship between Victor and Elizabeth as incestuous, and I went along with it. I still don't really see their relationship as being romantic, as it was pushed upon them from a very young age by their mother (it was her dying wish so they can't really oppose it, y'know) and Victor never seemed very smitten with her, at least in the 1818 version, so I think they just got married out of a sense of obligation to Victor's parents rather than true romantic love. However, I've kind of got used to cousin relationships in books from this time period since I read a lot of 19th century literature (Hareton and Cathy in Wuthering Heights, Little Em'ly and Ham Peggotty in David Copperfield, Jude and Sue in Jude the Obscure... the list goes on) and so I don't really care about the incestous aspect of their relationship anymore, since it was pretty normal at the time, even if it isn't now. I do regret how annoyingly repetitive I was in this video about "eww no they're cousins they shouldn't be in love >:(" in this video, but ah well, I can't do much about it.
@@ghostcheerio yeah, I understand where you’re coming from. I’m obsessed with history, so I’m used to finding out about diplomatic/arranged marriages with cousins and practically immune to incest after researching the Hapsburgs.
I'm actually currently working on a really big animatic for one of the Frankenstein Musical songs! :D I don't know when it'll be done but... it's happening. Also I've read Dracula but only listened to one song from the musical, I really should do that sometime. Maybe if I like it enough I'll do a video for it!

The portrayal of Victor as a stupid little nerd baby is the most accurate portrayal
The whole sequence of Elizabeth writing letters and Victor ignoring them was hilarious.
In the playlist, "A Tribute to Frankenstein-A New Musical" this goes.
