Welcome to Journey into Trust Day by Day! My name is Dawn Hill and I have trudged through some deep valleys, but the Lord Jesus has never left me or forsaken me.
Through this video I share the Biblical Principle that reminds us how important it is for us to live out our faith, and that because we have been filled with the "fruit of righteousness that comes from Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God," we can walk the walk! Please see Philippians 1:9-11 further down in this description.
This series is all about how important it is to get to know the real Jesus, and learning to let Him surprise you. I share several passages from the gospels, where Jesus taught me important lessons or met me when I needed Him most. I hope you'll listen to the end so you can hear the short piece from my book, Journey into Trust, called "Every Sorrow".
It is my hope that you'll be touched by the Lord's great grace through this video and move closer to Him. I'd be blessed if you'd like my video, leave a comment and share it with friends! I'd also like to ask you to consider buying my book. I've heard from many people that it is ministering to them, and I'd love it if the Lord would use it to speak into your life as well.
Here are the Bible verses that I referenced in my video:
Philippians 1:9-11. "And this I pray, that you love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." (from New American Standard Bible 1995)

Emphasis on:
This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet:
“Behold, My Servant whom I have chosen;
My Beloved in whom My soul is well-pleased;
I will put My Spirit upon Him,
And He shall proclaim justice to the Gentiles.
“He will not quarrel, nor cry out;
Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.
“A battered reed He will not break off,
And a smoldering wick He will not put out,
Until He leads justice to victory.
“And in His name the Gentiles will hope.”
Luke 10:37-27
And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” And He said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this and you will live.” But wishing to justify himself, he said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
Jesus replied and said, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, and they stripped him and beat him, and went away leaving him half dead. And by chance a priest was going down on that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite also, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, who was on a journey, came upon him; and when he saw him, he felt compassion, and came to him and bandaged up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them; and he put him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn and took care of him. On the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper and said, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I return I will repay you.’ Which of these three do you think proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell into the robbers’ hands?” And he said, “The one who showed mercy toward him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do the same.”
