My name is Dawn Hill and I have trudged through some deep valleys, but the Lord Jesus has never left me or forsaken me. Through this video I share the Biblical Principle of Matthew 11:25-30, when Jesus praises the Father for revealing the things He is going to share with babes, and not to the wise and intelligent. Jesus goes on to say that, "no one perfectly knows the Son except the Father, nor does anyone perfectly know the Father but the Son, and anyone whom the Son wills to reveal Him." Then Jesus gives His famous call, saying, "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden (burdened), and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and y shall find rest for your souls, for My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
This is the biblical principle to build your life upon: come to Jesus. Get to know Jesus and let Him surprise you and transform you. From here, I share important characteristics of each of the four gospels and the four gospel authors who penned each narrative under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Toward the end of the video, I share a way that I took Jesus' words to heart, when He said that He came to seek and to save the lost. I wove it into a poem to encourage those who feel their lives are hollow to have hope and to find all they need in Jesus.
