Excellent Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you researched - Chiveard Magically Hypnotic Framework (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a great one off product for getting love from a man minus the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my best friend Jordan finally got astronomical results with it.
But then I think introverts get fixated on one person a lot more easily. Like you guys mentioned Will feels things quite intensely, I think that's quite common with introverts, so they're happy to stick with one person, just because playing the field can be pretty exhausting for an introvert, at least that's what I find.
i have ridiculous commitment issues and they bleed into every aspect of my life. as soon as i find out someone reciprocates my feelings i panic and i'm like "i gotta find out how to get out of this." i either self sabotage my relationships or kind of just let it fizzle up. it's ugly and horrible and i hate it! but it sends me into instant panic. i don't think i'm capable of normal human relationships at all. i also second guess everything, and have a fear of wasting time. so i sit and think "will this person waste my time? will i grow at all with them? is it worth it?" i just lose my mind. it's definitely a problem. also! introversion does not equal shy or whatever! it's perfectly possible to be an introvert & be forward and outgoing. they just recharge differently than extroverts do.
i am exactly the saaameee!!! it's not that i don't want to commit ever, I just never feel like it's the right person and I run away from it as soon as it starts
spooky jim Yeh I know, but my computer didn't auto-refresh and I didn't see it til I'd finished watching the vid, by which time I couldn't be bothered changing the comment 😂😂
My best friend is in a toxic relationship. He manipulates her and ignores her if she talks to any guy friends. He constantly puts her down. One time I arrived at our table at lunch and he was ignoring her the entire time, she just shrugged and went 'He's mad at me.' so I didn't say anything about it. Later as we were going to go to class I gave her a quick hug and said Good Luck. She then got really defensive and started saying really loudly 'What do you mean good luck!?' I was like 'Lol wot' because now her boyfriend and all his friends were staring at us. I shrugged it off but she continued asking. Eventually she let it go. It just sucks because she literally ignored me for like 2 months, even when I was sitting with her, but then gets annoyed when her boyfriend ignores her. She's starting to treat me the way he treats her. She gets annoyed if I hang out with other friends. I don't know what to do. If I leave her then she'll literally only have her boyfriend.
AlaskaTheNerd if I were in that position I would decide, whether it's more important for me to not be treated poorly or to be there for my friend. Once you've decided on your priorities you can either try to grin and bear it and try to talk to her about your feelings once the time is right and try to help her out of the situation as well or you can decide to tell her that you feel mistreated as a friend and while you're still there for her if she approaches you you need to stay away from the negativity she is currently bringing into your life. I hope these suggestions help. And no matter what you decide on: there's no wrong way for you to act. Don't feel bad about your decision.
AlaskaTheNerd Try talking to her about it at first and see how she reacts. If you feel like your friendship is negatively impacting your mental health then I wouldn't hesitate in cutting them off. I had a toxic friendship for 3 years which got worse as time went by, and it's really messed me up and given me trust issues etc. Maybe she will need to loose you as a friend for her own sake to realise what she's doing wrong.
AlaskaTheNerd I had a friend like the one you're describing, stuck by her side through countless relationships like that and for ten years got treated like I was jealous and obsessive because I hated her boyfriends. you can try to work it out but don't wait as long as I did to leave once I left I figured out how low she truly thought of me and that she only kept me around to be her sidekick, friendships can be abusive and manipulative too.
I'm a social introvert and my SO is a typical introvert. I need to be alone a lot, but I like good social interaction. I just don't function very well socially lol.
E Braam TIL! I feel kinda similar, or it could be I'm a socially anxious extrovert, really like my alone time, and break out in a cold sweat when it's time to be social 😟 (but love it if when I get there and gel well with the ppl). My other half is a typical extrovert, but with different social anxieties. So hey, introvert-like people unite! But in our own homes, quietly, and maybe not with too many people 😁
Yeah, even some situations not relating to relationships where a friend is in a toxic situation, it's awful feeling helpless not able to do anything, but as long as they know you're aware and you're there for them there's not much more you can do except be a friend and hope they know they can come to you for help when they're ready.
As someone who was in an abusive relationship for 4 years, I've got to say that your advice regarding toxic relationships and friends and hiding details about your relationship etc is spot on! I was so deep into my relationship that I didn't listen to my friends when they told me to get out, but the moment that relationship ended, those friends were the ones I remembered and treasured the most post-relationship.
Pritha Bhattacharya if it makes you feel any better, I'm 5"7 and spent most of my adolescent years desperately wishing I was shorter. I was taller than my date in middle school, I couldn't wear heels with most boyfriend's or I was taller. We always want what we don't have.
The advice on long distance stuff really hit the nail on the head, my boyfriend and I are currently long distance separated by a 14 hour plane trip but luckily only have a 2 hour time difference. Before entering into this relationship we knew we would end up long distance when he had to leave for his home country, so we had to have those conversations about commitment and trust and having a plan set up for future visits and eventually living together before officially deciding to be exclusive with each other. It really takes the right person and being in the right time of your life to make something like this work, but it's so worth it :)
I've been with my boyfriend for nearly 6 years now (we've been together since I was 14) and hearing this is so refreshing! It honesty helped so much - thank you.
You should do a jealousy/ self love video. I feel like every relationship has a small problem with it and then being your own person while dating someone.
That question about the friend being in a toxic relationship made me cry a lil because my best friend was in a highly toxic relationship but she was the abuser. She would make her boyfriend stay with her & not let him go home by threatening to hurt herself & she even made him choose between her & his mother. I kept trying to make her see how unreasonable she was being but I must've handled it wrong because she recently said she was tired of me being dramatic & negative & dropped me like a hot potato. I've been sobbing for weeks but the advice you gave about the situation was very comprehensive. Perhaps if I'd watched this video sooner we'd still be friends right now
I'm only a third of the way through the video but this is so lovely!! Honestly, the energy here is so light nice even as you're discussing what I find to be a heavy and difficult subject usually. Well done, Lucy and Arden, you beautiful ethereal ladies ✨
It's so epic that you guys are collabing because you two are the reason that I went from hella highlighted/blonde hair to my natural brunette. You guys are hair GOALS tbh... xx
I was just in the middle of watching one of Arden's videos, wondering if you guys had ever considered collaborating, and then this notification popped up. Spooky!
A little reminder that you don't have to be 'exclusive' to be in a committed relationship, monogamy seems to be the social default but it's important to remember the are other options. Regardless, love watching you two together 😘
I love this. Me and my then boyfriend now husband were in a long distance relationship for 7 years, we got married after that, and now we're married for 4 years. Its true - takes two to tango. U have to be ready for everything - commitment and stuff. Its hrd but worth it.
My current boyfriend and I both really REALLY liked each other before we started dating- but we both held it back! Now that we're in a relationship, revealing those initial attractions and thoughts is super cute and makes me like him even more. It was difficult to keep the "obsession" under wraps but it kept us both interested for the long term.
Your advice is literally so spot on useful! A lot of advice videos out there are just bloody shit where you get told what you've somehow known before anyway. I loved this! And I never even comment videos but this time I had to. Thanks so much, I swear I'll come back to this video when I question my love/crush/sex/something-life again. cheers and stay this way xx
i was actually thinking the other day that you 2 should collab bc you reminded me of each other then tripped out seeing this in my sub box today! love you both so much
"My friend can't understand that she's in a toxic relationship" -> Very good advice. Thanks Rose-Moon! "How do you not come across as obsessed with a crush" -> ALSO VERY GOOD ADVICE (Bookmarked for future ❤)
Such an enjoyable and informative video! You two both come across as very intelligent, kind, interesting, and down-to-earth big sisters who are just having a little chat with their little sisters and giving them advice. I could listen the two of you talk for ages, this video flew by and I could hardly believe 18 minutes had passed!
This should be a podcast! It was sooooooooooo good
Ryan Navarro yes yes yes!
Ryan Navarro yesss
I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING! I had never seen videos of them together but I want MOREEEEE!
YES good idea! I need it!
yeah!! it felt nice having "girl talk"
"Grow a pair of ovaries" needs to be on some merch, perhaps with Arden's book?! 😂 So cool to see you two doing a collab!
Rukaya Cesar yesss 😂😂 I want it on a shirt
AGREE WITH THAT QUOTE!
Maybe with "Resist the fuckboys" on the back
it's on a ton of things and i love it so much

Both of you have such nice hair!

THEY DO! I was starring at Ardens hair swooshing and was like my curly hair would never do that! LMAO
yes its really nice
I wish I could pull off bangs like Arden. Holy shit she looks good!
her face shape suits it. we all suit different hair styles cause of our colors and face shapes
I really enjoyed this. It's like talking to my big sister. I might be 20 but it's always good to have your big sister around for some advice
You two are great together! Please film together more often! Xx
is it just me - or does arden remind anyone of jess from new girl
But then I think introverts get fixated on one person a lot more easily. Natasha Mackie i’m the exact same!
you two are a PSA on how beautiful pale skin is.
you look gorgeous!
i have ridiculous commitment issues and they bleed into every aspect of my life. as soon as i find out someone reciprocates my feelings i panic and i'm like "i gotta find out how to get out of this." i either self sabotage my relationships or kind of just let it fizzle up. it's ugly and horrible and i hate it! but it sends me into instant panic. i don't think i'm capable of normal human relationships at all. i also second guess everything, and have a fear of wasting time. so i sit and think "will this person waste my time? will i grow at all with them? is it worth it?" i just lose my mind. it's definitely a problem.

Melissa Lozano yes, yes. exactly this. i totally lose my mind.
hey, it's been a while and I relate to this... a lot. has it gotten any better? if so, any tips?
lucy, your channel is now officially my favourite. im loving vedj!!! 😁
"Grow a pair of ovaries" :O you're both so beautiful
The comment below you was 1 minute earlier than you lol
spooky jim Yeh I know, but my computer didn't auto-refresh and I didn't see it til I'd finished watching the vid, by which time I couldn't be bothered changing the comment 😂😂
absolutely loving your content lately Lucy!! after having a rough day, advice videos like this are so comforting. thankyou xo
Why does Lucy not have so many more subscribers ?? She's so sweet and genuine ! I lov 🥀
My two faves have come together on this very important day.
Thank you so much. This made me feel better about it all.
Been in this exact situation. Leave her. Its really all you can do in the end. Be close with your other friends.
AlaskaTheNerd I had a friend like the one you're describing, stuck by her side through countless relationships like that and for ten years got treated like I was jealous and obsessive because I hated her boyfriends. you can try to work it out but don't wait as long as I did to leave once I left I figured out how low she truly thought of me and that she only kept me around to be her sidekick, friendships can be abusive and manipulative too.
arden and lucy, you have to make more videos together this was great
Lucy pleaseee can you do some clothes stuff maybe?? You always looks so good and I need advice!
ugh seconded I love the way she dresses

THANK YOU for saying that a toxic relationship can happen to anyone, and that it doesn't reflect badly on the person caught in one
As someone who was in an abusive relationship for 4 years, I've got to say that your advice regarding toxic relationships and friends and hiding details about your relationship etc is spot on! I was so deep into my relationship that I didn't listen to my friends when they told me to get out, but the moment that relationship ended, those friends were the ones I remembered and treasured the most post-relationship.
hate people who say they are 'only' 5'7. like how can you
Pritha Bhattacharya you don't just hate someone because they say something you don't like. you can hate what they say, but not them.
Sparkly Fishez it was a joke.
Pritha Bhattacharya if it makes you feel any better, I'm 5"7 and spent most of my adolescent years desperately wishing I was shorter. I was taller than my date in middle school, I couldn't wear heels with most boyfriend's or I was taller. We always want what we don't have.
Lizzie Caldwell omg i knoooow how it feels, it really sucks, my bf is shorter than me.
ugh I so wish I was tall. Then again, my doctor said I'd only be 5'1", yet here I am at almost 5'5"😂maybe there's hope?
The advice on long distance stuff really hit the nail on the head, my boyfriend and I are currently long distance separated by a 14 hour plane trip but luckily only have a 2 hour time difference. I've been binging your videos, your style is so unique! Can't wait to see more throughout 2017
arden seems like such a cool person to have in your life and I would love to meet lucy someday too :D

Kimberley Taylor-Bradley 5"2 ish
They look like they could be sisters!!!! Two of my favourites together, love this video so much! x
I need the two of you on a podcast. I LOVED this.
Admitting your problems and doing something about them is also a great way just to start fixing things in a relationship.
IM GONNA CRY YOU GUYS ARE LITERALLY MY FAVORITE RUclipsRS OMG 😫😍😍😍😍😍
I've been with my boyfriend for nearly 6 years now (we've been together since I was 14) and hearing this is so refreshing! It honesty helped so much - thank you.
You should do a jealousy/ self love video. I feel like every relationship has a small problem with it and then being your own person while dating someone.
When Lucy's collab with Arden and Arden's collab with Lucy are both in your subscription box u know it's gonna be a good day😆😆😆
honestly you're both so pretty in your own way. you're so lovely and I love you both.
"Only 5"7"
LUCY I AM 5"3

I'm only a third of the way through the video but this is so lovely!! Honestly, the energy here is so light nice even as you're discussing what I find to be a heavy and difficult subject usually. Well done, Lucy and Arden, you beautiful ethereal ladies ✨

It's so epic that you guys are collabing because you two are the reason that I went from hella highlighted/blonde hair to my natural brunette. You guys are hair GOALS tbh... xx

HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS COLLAB
I need more videos like this. This is the honest RUclips culture we need.
I love this. Me and my then boyfriend now husband were in a long distance relationship for 7 years, we got married after that, and now we're married for 4 years. Its true - takes two to tango. U have to be ready for everything - commitment and stuff. Its hrd but worth it.

I love how chill this video is and I feel like I'm directly having a conversation with you guys
My current boyfriend and I both really REALLY liked each other before we started dating- but we both held it back! It was difficult to keep the "obsession" under wraps but it kept us both interested for the long term.

I love this so much because it's like I'm watching the older sisters I never had

This video is so aesthetically pleasing
The way Lucy said ever so slightly was so aesthetic

This was my favourite 😍 You and Arden are both so intelligent, and give such good advice!!
Omfg my favourite youtubers doing a video together. My life is complete...
collab of the mf century
Such an enjoyable and informative video! You two both come across as very intelligent, kind, interesting, and down-to-earth big sisters who are just having a little chat with their little sisters and giving them advice. I could listen the two of you talk for ages, this video flew by and I could hardly believe 18 minutes had passed!
i was like damn this is a long video but then it was over so fast please do more of these in the future!
I LOVED this video. You two are such an explosive combo.
