Hey everybody, welcome back to another SkillCapped guide. Today, we sent our Challenger and low elo smurf expert, Hector, on a brand new challenge. Now, most of you have seen the thumbnail already, and can expect this to be a difficult challenge. Still, Hector was confident he could beat it in one try, and we appreciate the chance to torment him yet again. Let us see how he fixes this glaring low elo issue with just a few simple macro decisions, and turns the game around completely by stopping that one mistake.
Imagine having a YT channel which delivers good info and understanding of the game but being so delusional that you denigrate their work (when it is actually good advice for players). The only thing you do is complain about your teammates when the only constant variable in your games is yourself. If you don't climb, it's because you are not good enough to carry so you belong in your elo. You might often run into afk, trolls and inters, I personally do too but it represents such a small amount of games in comparison to your total games that it shouldn't really matter.
@@Undomaranel ur playing in low elo and expecting them to play like a challenger?Stop blaming your losses on teammates and try to see what u can do differently lol.
If you want to improve quickly. Download a recording program, record your pov and go over it by yourself or with friends and see what you did right/wrong. That will help A LOT.
intressting, im starting to get a clue about this game. 1.) play Kai'sa went after Vi to bait her in? You should've flashed her Q for an easy solo Kill. Was a bit too close imo, but wp :) 2.) hahaha i thought the same
I am a godamn silver but the twitch play literally made me feel like diamond. I mean ok twitch's decision was random since he was already spotted by the TF ult but the extra surprise obviously was the godamn gang working when he got spotted a few seconds before it even happened...n
I think people are really overestimating challenger players. Yes, they're better than every not challenger player but they aren't perfect. They don't know exactly how this 4v3 skirmish will result bc based only on champion pool there can be 2247099500000000 possible comps. Mostly they're just following some simple and a bunch of advanced concepts that allow them to make 99% accurate decisions most of the time
Is it really worth using flash as an ADC vs a Vi about to hit 6 just for crashing a wave? Feels like that's just 5 mins of free ganks for her. I guess assuming they'd be able to freeze the wave off of the bounce after crashing, they might not get ganked, but this requires the support to be on the same page which most often isn't the case in my experience.
a jungler usually cannot stay botside for 5 minutes and its detrimental to him if he does so (unless cross jungling), on top of it you are most likely dead anyway if she has R up, even with flash, unless you can make enough distance between their botlane and yourself before you get cc'd in this particular scenario that the video shows i guess it should be pretty trivial for zilean to just speed you up if their tribush is warded and you see vi coming what they are trying to show you is that you can gain all this knowledge without having any special mechanics, its just wave management and positioning that lets him play lane like this vs lucian nami in an average elo also crashing wave might be much more important than you think, since it allows you to gain a lot of time over your opponent and usually get better cs as well
first of all that he has to flash is the worst case scenario here, since they have a huge wave and nami and luc are on the other side of this wave and the vi isnt even lvl 6 and he has a zilean (speed up/slow +stun) that he or ziliean has to flash is very very unlikely unless luc nami and vi are willing to flash themselves. as a jungler i would never gank this!
Yes, it's worth it, especially vs Vi. If you have flash or not, once Vi is 6 it doesn't matter. You get point and clicked anyway. If she goes for that gank and you use flash, she takes longer to hit 6 and be useful Plus, you are crashing a huge wave, recalling and recieving a pushing wave towards you. More than half of your flashes cd can be saved if you freeze that bounce back
I know im good mechanically (not a god ofc) but i keeps feeding, i know i can CS, i know i can teamfight but i always end up playing too agro and die. In short, i guess , i need to be more passive but its boring
From that Vi example it's even more basic than making good decisions. First you need that ward and look at the map and at least somewhat understand jungling to make an educated guess, to begin with.
if i were to try and push tower while that twitch was roaming, their jungle would have been there instead and senna would have killed both of us.... also flashing away in lane hardly ever works cause every enemy is so much faster than you for some reason and theyll catch up to you and cc you and kill you.
Their Jg is in top so they are free for dive. Also tribush is warded so they would see Vi early to cancel, and if she goes from river... she'd rather join mid then.
Hector: flash is worthless compared to the amount of time vi is wasting Me, an intellectual: flash is worthless because my bronze ass is still gonna int lane with or without it.
Yes but theoretically an ADC will work better with that lead than the assassin fizz will. Also keep in mind it DID work this time but again this is the luckiest outcome he could have goten considering both TF and lee sin inted hard to gift twitch enough gold to break even with that play
what I find annoying is when my team makes an obviously bad decisions, gets hard punished for it, and then defends it. The worst part is I'm literally in a call with them and they won't except my explanation despite me closing in on gold while they're bottom of bronze or iron. Let's see... you wanted to defend vision around an objective we just got despite their team being around and having just come out of base while your team wants to base? oh? it being a pick and your team being around and no objectives being up makes it worth? Even though you all died as predicted by me who decided to back anyway cause I don't want to risk my shutdown for literally nothing? Oh okay... guess I'll just drop it cause you'll just keep arguing your point. To be fair they weren't actually mad at me backing, they just thought it was super unfortunate how things turned out.
Seriously. I need to find a way to auto /mute all because it's a waste of time with most people. Like, I got flamed for not ganking their lane.. when they were pushed up on the tower and the enemy was at 100% HP. What am I suppose to do? Magically deal 100% damage at level 4 before the tower kills me? LoL players are the biggest case of Dunning Kruger.
If you're only just "closing in on gold" and haven't even gotten there yet but you think you're THAT much better than a bronze player, you really need an ego check my guy. Odds are your duos are right more often than not because there's not much of a gap between you like you seem to think there is. The main difference between you and them is luck, because you'd be a lot higher rank otherwise.
The luck vs correct decision making argument would be true if you just had ti deal with bad teammates. But in silver you also need to deal with people intentionally losing the game every 3 games. So it really is down to luck whether you or the enemy gets that asshole. Sometimes youll get lucky and both teams get one inting idiot
You ever been steam rolled by a fed riven? Cause I have. I've literally gone 22/0 as Vayne, given the our team over 40 kills over their like 25/30. Took every drake, and even baron. If you get shitty team mates it is the end and simply nothing you can do 90% of the time. Btw, I like to see him playing bronze and sharing match history with summoner name to see actual stats.
Macro matters way more in elos that low because most people in the game won't even be paying attention to it. If you do something like splitpush at an opportune time, the enemy team is very likely to ignore you in favor of whatever objective they're going ape mode for. That kind of decision making is how smurfs carry in low elo, sometimes they just won't fight people who have been fed and will try to find other ways to win.

The 2 kills are hardly even worth once he misses 2 to 3 waves of minion xp, which is inevitable with that roam timing. The point is that even though it "worked", it's a really bad play because it wasn't worth it at all
