  • Richard Roundtree, star of Shaft, Roots, and many other films and television programs has passed away at the age of 81. Mr. Roundtree appeared as a celebrity guest on the Canadian game show Definition during Season 10 (1983) episodes 91-95. Here's the full Tuesday episode of that week in tribute (recorded September 16, 1983).

    One thing about "Definition" is that this was whenever Jim Perry wasn't dealing out the cards on "Card Sharks" and making sales and giving away over $100,000 in cash and prizes on "$ale of the Century."

      Jim was on both ends of the spectrum one of the most generous game shows of its era in sale of the century and one of the cheaper ones in definition at the same time.
