Believe me on a big TV you can see the difference much better, the RUclips compression and if you watch it on a smartphone makes it much harder to see it.
Don’t forget most got PS4 Pro support. That’s more than likely the majority of improvement you’re seeing. This toggle does make a small difference but it’s not worth buying the whole console for.
@@TheAmazingSpiderGuy_99there are also many games patched for the PS5 Pro and there will be more. The toggle is not the only reason to buy the whole console for. Do not make the device dependent on one function.
This feature works for PS4 games that max out at 1080p. I also tried the Uncharted collection on my PS5 Pro on my OLED screen. There's a difference. Everything looks clearer. Some type of upscaling, just like what tvs will do with lower resolutions, but the console is doing it and you can keep your tv set to game mode and keep the lower input lag. Nice feature
You gotta keep in mind that watching videos like this you probably can’t see much of a difference. But in person, they’re is a very noticeable difference for some things
This was one of the first things I looked at when I got the pro. It’s a really nice little update since I doubt Naughty Dog will ever give any official update for the game. It’s definitely better on an actual tv than can be seen on youtube
Xbox has been doing this for years, since the last gen with the One X. The biggest difference is the games that did use this feature ran at native 4k like Red dead redemption one, Halo 3 etc.
As a new ps5 pro owner... I mean, it looks ever so slightly maybe a little bit sharper... Which is cool i guess. I bought the pro for ff7 rebirth which looks massively better than it did on my base ps5. But if i'm honest, I'm a little worried about the swath of games that are implementing pssr poorly (I'm looking at you silent hill 2) and removing the base system's performance options. They either need to take more time with optimizing for pssr, or include the original options.
Great video. Some ideas for games I would love to see Tomb Raider Rise of the Tomb Raider Shadow of the Tomb Raider Crysis trilogy DEUS ex mankind divided
no need for patch, an extra patch can also cause further performance and visual problems. It still looks good with the game boost, almost as good as native 4k. ✅
It's so hard to trust Sony because this should have been the PS5 All these features should have been on the PS5 and that way they could have been working on a PS6.

Facts! Everyone should be watching this on a 4k TV to see the difference! It’s really good!
Yep. Looks way better on my 65 inch oled than on RUclips videos
Need a oled tv!! Big screen or forget it!

I upgraded from a base PS4 to a PS5 Pro and wow even some PS4 games that I’m still finishing off look insanely better!

@@TheAmazingSpiderGuy_99well in his case, it's worth the upgrade. My dude came from a base ps4

@ Yes, I’m saying they are seeing the benefits from PS4 Pro patches on PS5 Pro.

I know these are PS3 games remastered on PS4 initially, still crazy to believe these old games look acceptable going into 2025.

Thanks dude, really appreciate the videos! Keep rocking those jumpers! Any chance you could try skyrim if you have it?
Thanks buddy! Yes I can try Skyrim; but believe this runs at 4k60 already on pro!
Loving your videos keep it up mate.
Agree - Uncharted 4 was fun. PS5 version looks tops
I tried Shadow of Mordor today. Looks incredible! Shadow of War looks sharper, too.
@@obersturmbannfuhrer60311 will do a video on this! Thanks for watching!
Shadow of war still on 30fps right?
@@markopolov2207 Yeah, unfortunately.
Try gta san andreas with pssr on and with that new up date.. looks very good
Try monster hunter world it runs at 1080p 60fps on base ps5 so pro could be a upgrade
So this game does indeed work on ps5 now? Was holding onto my ps4 so I could play this due to the issues on ps5
Does this work across all games in the collection?
Will test the others soon!!
Yes for PS4 games that max out at 1080p. Looks cleaner. Tried all 3
Try final fantasy 15. I was shocked.
Would love to see you test Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Why not test this against the PS5 version of Uncharted: LOT Collection?

There are more games with good PSSR implementing 10+ than with bad ones maybe 3 or 4. Dont worry.
Resident evil 5/6 kingdom hearts division 1/2 etc there are a lot of ps4 games
Can you do L.A. Noir? And compare it to Xbox one x enhanced titles on series x?
will look into this for sure!
@MajorBen awesome! I love your content. Very entertaining and helpful
Driveclub looks like native 4k. It's overwhelmingly beautiful but still 30fps unfortunately
Another one that looks way better is nier automata
Test out BioShock
It's almost the same
like 0,05% better
was it worth the money?
🤦🏻♂️
It seems brute forced games are better than the pro patched games doh!!
Test Uncharted 4.
I have already buddy!
@ just watched it! Test Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain…
Haven't played UC3? My dude, that's the best one

Will check Metal Gear Solid 5..
I tried it today. Not impressed honestly. It desperately needs anisotropic filtering.
Great video.
Some ideas for games I would love to see
Tomb Raider
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Crysis trilogy
DEUS ex mankind divided
Noted!
Looks identical.
lol right?
Amazing how sony updates nothing. Fun fact sony could patch this title easy to supports native 4k but they wont do it because they blow.

It’s not the same honest 😂
Ps4 the best
That's great but we need good pro patches from 3rd party developers. Devs are definitely not taking advantage of the pro
yeah of course we do. And when they come out, i will test them.
Runs exactly the same on the base ps5.Thank me later😅
It literally doesn’t… look at the side by side…
