    Hey bro, I'm moving to Taiwan in late summer to teach English and I was happy to see your video.
    I know flyfishing (and obviously deep-sea fishing) is popular in Taiwan, but it's cool to see that bass fishing is popular!
    I'm considering packing a couple of rods and reels if I have space in my luggage!

    Tackle junkie heaven. Wish there was at least one store in the states that carried half of what one of those stores have. Can’t seem to find any of the lures I want online and/or in stock.

    QUESTION: I just put a 2018 Antares on a TLMB and LOVEEEE IT! I was thinking about putting a heat shrink black rod grip over the cork.. i like the look better, but do you think having the cork is a better grip and higher quality or do you think the black grip would look good?

    Is there many big fishing tackle stores in Taiwan? Now many anglers buy them on line.

    Hello again!
    I see that you use the duel armored line,
    have you noticed any difference between the f+ and pro
    out in the field? does the pro last signiffically longer?
    Also real good videos you post, tight lines!!

    • @BCSGFishing
      @BCSGFishing  6 лет назад

      The primary difference I have noticed between the 2 lines is F+ Pro is a little stiffer than F+, and likewise, F+ is a little stiffer than F. I assume it is because of the abrasion resistance coating, harder coating gives more abrasion resistance but is also stiffer. In terms of performance I feel F+ is a good balance. F+ Pro is just a little too stiff for my liking and ironically it seems like the coating on the F+ Pro comes off more easily than the F+.

    What best spinning reel do you offer?

  • @BearzG
    @BearzG 6 лет назад

    Quick question again!
    Im in the process of rebuilding a finesse pack. Do you prefer baving a separate bag/backpack for your style of fishing or do you switch tackle around depending on what youre going to do? I tend to hate switching trays back and forth.

    • @BCSGFishing
      @BCSGFishing  6 лет назад +1

      +Bearz G. I have a general box that covers most of my fishing that I have with me all the time. But I also do have individual boxes for finesse, species or area. So I guess it depends on what im doing.

    • @BearzG
      @BearzG 6 лет назад

      thanks for the response bud. im just having such a hard time figuring it out lol. i have decided to have 1 bag for medium heavy and up occasions and a bag with a travel tube for medium light and below. Being in San Diego, CA. There is so many options from fresh to salt literally 15 minutes away from each other. Thanks again BCSG. Maybe one day, I'll take an extra stay in Singapore when I go to Vietnam! :D

      @robertramirez908 6 лет назад +1

      Bearz G. I’m a sub on both of you guys’ channels. Since my son was born almost 3 years ago my fishing time is very limited. I now have several sling style bags pre loaded..finesse, bfs, swimbait, and an all around. I find this easier to grab a bag and rods for whatever technique I wanna fish. My outings now consist of hitting local ponds for an hour or two whenever I can.

    • @BearzG
      @BearzG 6 лет назад

      Thanks. Appreciate your input. I just figure it makes more sense if it is that kind of situation. I was mainly asking again too because what if I switch trays and end up forgetting a tray ya know? So my idea is to build 2 terminal tackle trays. 1 for each backpack, my main bag is a versatile bag (heavier side above 3/8oz applications). 2nd bag will have everything from 3/8oz and under. Can't really agree that it is finesse IMO but fishing the salt here in sd, i'd consider 1/4oz and below to be finesse. (some may say otherwise)

    hey BCSG just wondering when you spool up a new bfc reel with lets say 8Lb braid what pound backing line do you use? and how much? keep the videos coming :)

    • @BCSGFishing
      @BCSGFishing  6 лет назад +1

      +Bryce hey man glad you like the content! I usually use only about 2-3m of mono or fc backing, just enough to prevent slipping. With 8lbs braid I'd use anywhere between 10-12lbs mono, though I don't usually pay too much attention to the backing lbs.

      I have both the scorpion bfs and the 16 Aldebaran bfs. The 16 Aldebaran bfs is buttery smooth, casts light lures easily and is more refined the the scorpion bfs. Oh almost forgot both reels have that exciting drag sound.

    It's always fun to go someplace new - anywhere - and pickup a "few" things. You showed great restraint. My last Brazil trip was a light one too... one rod, one shirt and 24 lures. Alcohol and drug users, smokers, gamblers have all these support groups but do tackle junkies? Noooooooo.
