I mean this in the best way possible… this feels like 6 dudes who were told throughout high school they were “way too talented” as musicians but never got a big break that found each other on a Reddit community for “cool dads who love screamo” and decided to record music during the pandemic and were asked last minute to make a music video for a song even though they live in different suburbs across the country and have never met.

Now, I’m a husband, father, and in my 40’s and into my career as a cellular technician…. Thank you guys for brining me back to a time when the hardest decision I had to make was if I was going to eat last night’s pizza cold or heat it in the microwave for a few seconds. Loved it!
The drummer is fast and clean. Just amazing from everyone. I'm so glad I took a chance on a random video. I won't lie, the singer in the thumbnail gave me that "it prolly sux but if not it's going to be straight dopamine" vibe. It was the latter in excess. This is what I like

Man I really hope these guys keep with this style than most of what else they have put out. Not that their other stuff is bad, it’s just not nearly as dynamic and is just generally kinda cookie cutter. Can’t really pick them out immediately from other bands, but THIS song, if they keep on this track, you know who it is when you hear it, even if you haven’t heard it before. Compared to their other stuff, this song seems like it had a really experienced in the scene producer that had all of those tiny little songwriting tips that most of us musicians don’t think of when we are writing songs. Or I’m just an idiot. Really hope they keep up with the more dynamic and full song writing.
