Unfortunately we had to leave Anglesey in North Wales urgently, because Liam completely overlooked something in our travel vlogs. All will be explained dont worry!
Regardless of the abrupt end, we had a great start...and we had a proper island adventure in our campervan conversion...to be continued... #vanlife #wales

The new hatch on the roof of the campervan is a SkyMaxx, bit of a game changer for us, and comes in two sizes, compatible with roof thicknesses 23-60mm. Here is a link with locations to find one yourself leisurevehicle... We got this as a PR sample, and are really impressed so far

Just to let you know that the body of water that you referred to as a "lake" is actually the The Menai Strait which is a narrow stretch of shallow tidal water which separates the island of Anglesey from the mainland of Wales.
I love the way you two never take anything for granted. You're always so appreciative of the people you meet, the amazing locations and everything. So rare to find people that accept they have it good compared to others and stop and smell the roses and count their blessings. Thanks for all the uplifting comments and happiness you bring.

I love how you're calling the Menai Straits a Lake. There is a lovely walk along the strait which takes you under the bridge you crossed to get onto Anglesey, and there is a lovely Church you need to visit that is on the same footpath. Yes, it is like that most of the time, just more so during a heatwave. Anglesey is super special. Looking forward to your next journey in Wales. Thank you for taking us with you. @@ThoseHappyDays I know you are, I know the areas you have been travelling in recently very well. If you thought the road in Anglesey was steep I am so please you didn't go down or up the one next to Harlech castle because it is officially the steepest in the world. Next time you are in Beaumaris take either the boat ride around Puffin Island or the Ribride. The straits are also known for their far distant travellers, who arrive every now and then, Leatherback turtles. Not that you'll get to see one. Seeing it all through your eyes is amazing, amusing and so much more. I could hug both of you. Looking forward to your next journey.
I was giggling at the reference to it being a lake. Apparently Nelson himself said that if you can navigate a ship through the Menai Straits you can sail anywhere. There's even a statue of Nelson on the banks of the Straits. Brilliant vlog so far, I'm only on the bit where you met the bus, lol. On your way from Caernarfon to the bridge, you probably passed my house.

Yet again the joy you two bring is delightful... and you've been very close to my neck of the woods north East Wales... I've been so privileged to live and have this amazing coastline and inland of course within 40 to 70 minutes drive... Anglesey has so much to offer but don't forget the Llyn Peninsula that is incredible too... I've lived here for 35 years and there are plenty of wonderful quiet places out of the way to enjoy...
Parking for free overnight is getting much tighter especially with the increase of vans.... mine is Stealth so I managed to pull in most places as I won't generally pay...
Lots of love to you both and happy upgrades and happy birthday times when they come along with the trip abroad.

Indeed, I was holidaying in North Wales (including Portmeirion) and Anglesey last mid August in 2021 mostly on the west coast so so lovely to start discovering your adventures by chance last week on RUclips as well as viewing parts of the UK I have missed in the short week away.
You wouldn't be going to the Isle of Wight, Porthmouuth, Southampton, New Forest too this early Autumn? Would offer you both a drink if I bumped into you & revamped Morgan. Hope it won't be repainted pink or purple...😂😁

I feel very fortunate to have those views everyday. At low tide, you can walk out to the lighthouse at Penmon and you often see dolphins passing through between puffin island and the lighthouse. There is so much more to Anglesey (ynys Mon) and I hope you return to our wonderful island.

Was so incredible and swam in the sea and felt alive. Went to the waterfall and castle and stayed in tintegal after inspiration from your vid.

I was born and raised on Anglesey and so I was excited to see how you'd find it! I've always believed there can't be a better place in the UK than on Anglesey when the sun is shining, so I'm glad you saw it at its best during the heatwave and enjoyed! (Saying that, give me Anglesey on a drizzly winter's day and I'd still love it.) Hope you can make it back soon, there's so much more beautiful scenery and nature to enjoy x

My Dad lived in a converted VW LT35 for years down in Spain/Portugal. They were literally the best years he can remember having worked all of his life…you will love it down there 🌞

Beautiful Wales. That lovely cafe is very traditional in Wales. Shops were like that when we camped in Wales all my childhood with our bedford van we slept over in on our travels through Wales in the 60's.

Hi Liam and Janine you were talking about castles with moats. Next yr perhaps you should go up to Co Durham in the north east. Not coastal but there is a castle called Rang castle. It has a moat. It is not a ruin either. When I lived just outside the castle gates it was lived in, it also has part open to the public, plus gardens and coach houses. There is a deer park too. I swear you would find it beautiful. Happy birthday celebrations Janine xx

Such a pity you had to leave Anglesey, but I'm glad you made it to Red Wharf Bay (Traeth Goch in Welsh if I recall correctly) and Benllech, as the place I used to stay on Anglesey is somewhere between those 2 places. Such lovely memories, especially of Beaumaris, which has the most wheelchair accessible castle in Wales. Pretty much the only part you can't get to is the wall walk, which at the time we went was closed anyway for safety reasons. Hopeful that you can get back to Anglesey at some time in the future. I know you love your beaches, but there is so much history in the inland parts of the island too (and the roads there are wider from what I remember!).

To clean your full windscreen hold on to your door mirror bracket and pull yourself up and stand on top of your front wheels and just lean over, that is the way i clean mine

When you return to Anglesey there is a brilliant park up on Red Wharf Bay but in the south east corner.
Follow the road from Pentraeth to get there. The road is relatively easy to negotiate. Make sure you park close to the bridge that accesses the beach. Exceptionally high tides can reach this point so keep your wits about you.
When the tides out the beach goes on for ever. You can walk to the pub near where you stopped at the other end of the Bay, and you can walk the other way to Llanddona Beach. It's a wonderful walk.

What a spectacular place! The sunset with the moon rising was unbelievable. The reason the moon was so big is that it was the last Super moon of the year where it's very close to Earth. Fantastic video and your attitudes of overwhelming Joy make it even better.

I really enjoy your video because we had an amazing Motorhome holiday last year for 9 month. We gad purchased our Motorhome but after our holiday for 9 month, we had to say good buy to Motorhome due to move to Australia. We occasionally check website to see our Motorhome had been sold to someone who can enjoy their holiday with our Motorhome but he( we gave him a name as “Taro”) is still on sale at Motorhome shop . We are missing him so much because he took us all over the Europe, about 30 countries. I hope Taro will be with next owner who can make amazing memories with Taro soon.

Next time you are at Penmon, if it's been a hot day, sometimes there's bioluminescent algae in the water, if you skim or throw a stone it illuminates - like the northern lights of the sea x

Just had to let you know how much we enjoy your video’s…… Sunday evening, me and my wife Claire (both fifty) love to sit down with our daughters grab a beer and watch your adventures, we’ve visited many of the places you’ve been to so it’s great to see them again. Folks, I don't know which parts of Spain you are planning on visiting, but you seem somewhat daunted by hilly country in Morgan, and Spain is not flat!
Guys you need to try touring Ireland. Roads are much quieter.
Wild Atlantic way would be a great tour. Food is great as well.

I studied French and Italian in school so I love learning a new language and now I have taken early retirement I can focus a lot more time in learning Spanish as well as brushing up on my French and Italian.
