Absolutely gorgeous. What a song. What a singer ❤
It took me a while to realize that the tune here is "On the turning away" by Pink Floyd. Storm's lyrics are so powerful, and what an amazing performance with "Your Oregon Symphony" as Scott Showalter always says before the concert.

I was hoping this would be a recording from when she sang it at last year's Holiday Ordeal concert. It was the first Storm show for several of my friends, and they had no idea what was coming. She absolutely killed it.
There are many, many, lots of good singers. But Storm Large is one of the strongest more vital and vivificant singer in the last times and epochs of americans. She gives more hope to other peoples and nations in this world of 2020-21, than any government and public employee in national administrations, no matter how important they think they are in the world.

The strength of a people is more clearly manifested in simple culture and art works. Even in single persons in any situation and circumstance. Here, Storm Large, with the potent and vivid strength of this excellent orchestra, her unified integrated vital voice, and this sort of classic and new gospel song, show that americans are still strong and renewed, with their best qualities, beyond the stagnation of lost souls and childish ambitions. I have really liked this artist. In 2017, I saw she was going to perform in Glendale with the LA Chamber Orchestra in a production of the Brecht -Weill opera "Seven Deadly Sins. " I got tickets for Wife and self. It just so happened that the performance took place the night of the first Women's March, which I had attended. At the conclusion of the opera Director Jeffrey Kahane requested that Storm come out for an encore, he then told her what he had planned, which was this song. As she began singing the audience, including us, began standing. Eventually I think the whole auditorium was standing. It was the most electrifying moment I have had in a concert hall. SAIL ON STORM!!

This is one of Stormy's very best vocals. Love to watch her and listen to everything I can find on youtube pertaining to her. Somehow, she just calms my heart. She's toured the world singing. Hopefully, someday, I can see her in person. Sing on Storm Large, know you are loved dearly and deeply.
