My favorite thing to do now is to beat a level with my own strategy and then watch your videos to see your strategy. Not the other way around 👌 I am always amazed how you can even think of utilizing these low rarities operators when I struggled a lot even when I use some high rarity units 👏👏👏
Those who are having trouble with courier surviving, use a medic tank instead to heal courier so you can free up one extra slot for another sniper. Those who pulled eyja, use her S2 to do AOE to adjacent enemies. Drones are a DPS check, if you leak, level your snipers a little bit more. Good Luck!
For anyone doing this stage currently. Grab Saria from the banner, she's one of the best units in the game. You can place her where Cuora is, making the need for a medic up there unnecessary. Then you can simply place another sniper there if your AoE caster isn't enough.
Oh gosh thank you so much for this! Also replaced Vanilla with Fang since I'm having a hard time following everything once they all start running in both directions lol.
It's always fun to watch you doing it with more rarity squad after completing the stage myself with my own strategy. It help to refresh and give me more idea on how easy it is and how we make it more difficult by making it complicated

If you have a DPS tank like Liskarm S2, bottom side becomes so much easier. Relatively underlevelled team (because holy is grinding XP and LMD sanity consuming...) And I also used Shirayuki instead of AoE caster up top - I think Meteorite might be a slight bit better because of defense debuff? But Shirayuki's S2 turning % into Arts damage did the trick for taking out the drone without having to worry about even placing a healer up top for a long time. Your defender that you would put in front of midnight (I used Liskarm bc of the DPS she needed to output to kill 1 of the fast dudes before they distracted Midnight) place them instead just at the gap where Midnight has no range so he focuses down on taking out the frost drone, have a healer pointing backwards on the platform right next to where Liskarm/your defender would be. That's the main area I deviated from the strategy, since I really don't have the resources right now to level up Midnight and I really wanna save up for E2 (just for the last 10 levels of Exusia i'm suffering...) anyways, my team was: Vanguards: - Texas on S2, - Plume being an MVP, - Scavenger on S2 (Scavenger and Plume holding off the slug horde) Tanks: - Liskarm on S2 - Matterhorn on S1 (Maybe a more self-sufficient tank like Cuora or a healer tank that can tank 3 people? I only have Hung as a healer tank and he defends 2 so that's why I'm unsure on this one) Guards: Midnight (Same strategy for the positioning as in the video) Caster: Amiya (E1L40, S1 at level 4) I only placed her on the original position that Kyo showed, and then to help near the end to clean people up before being replaced by a healer when the 2 big axe dudes came in. Snipers: - Shirayuki on S2, - GreyHorn on S2 was placed on the platform near Midnight facing to the right after texas generated enough DP and replaced Texas with her (though BP might work slightly better? Or a higher damage per hit sniper, just someone with enough range to help Liskarm out and prevent the drones from doing too much damage to Liskarm/Your healer/Midnight) - Exusia (I tried Jessica and it almost worked, but she is E1L35 with skill level 4), you could probably fiddle around with your snipers to see what works, just a matter that she's here to help Shirayuki not get distracted so she kills the frost drone ASAP and then it's smooth sailing Healers: Gavial and Hibiscus. Since I forgot to pay attention to Matterhorns HP, he died just as the second axe dude was starting to get focused, in which case you should have 3 vanguards ready to handle 2 hits each.... which in theory, if you pop skill of hibiscus, you could survive for about 3 to 5 hits so that should give you plenty of time to juggle your DPS around to try and take out the big guy(s) before they come in.

Hey, newer doctor here. He says Midnight and Steward are key units, but I don't have Midnight and didn't want to level up Steward. Eyjafjalla and Glaucus helped me kill the Frost drones instead. I used Eyja for the middle drone [and retreat], then Glaucus (before the AOE caster) for the top drone [and retreat], and brought back Eyja for the bottom drone and also to help my bottom defender. I didn't need to use another medic since I used Silence's drone to help the top defender, so I deployed Meteorite up top for more damage in the final push. Highest level in my team was E1 50, lowest E1 35 (Glaucus). Eyja E1 40. Even still, it took me many tries to figure out the best skill timing and positions (for example my bottom defender is moved one to the left; sometimes one got through) Thanks for these guides!

Don't have a leveled Steward and Midnight so I used two other casters (Amiya, Nightmare), one for killing drones and one for bottom DPS+drone. Deployed Cuora at bottom in case I needed the +1 block.
you are my saviour bro, thanks for the tips, copying this strat and using operators i have is a great success, even my operator level is lower than yours. In my case, if you don't have midnight you can change it to lappland, or maybe if you don't have lappland you can change it with frostleaf
I'm so smooth brain I need to watch it twice once to see what the operator's role is in the stage and how I'd use my own operators to compensate, and the second time is just me extensively pausing and alt tabbing
the only thing i copied was placing 1 single vanguard to the right at the start, just to survive the beginning but that alone did the trick to get me through it ^^
This video taught me that when the enemy's DEF and RES are similar, try to employ Stewart for his sweet sweet talent (or just Arts damage). Like, really, I tried for so long with a layout that's similar to yours with the only difference being that i didn't bring a single Arts DPS due to being conditioned to thinking that Snipers are best at handling aerial enemies. You could imagine the look on my face when i saw how fast Stewart cleans up the Frosts whereas initially, my Snipers were practically being locked into tunnel-visioning the Frost for what seemed like eternity while smaller drones freely entered Blue box.
Had to get kroos skill to 7 to kill drones, level 4 was not enough. Used E1 amiya instead of steward. Not recommended as i almost lost and amiya's redeployment timer is too long. The blue drone on top almost went through. Only used 1 healer(silence) on bot. Her drone healing was enough
I was struggling to kill the top drone without a steward, but to my surprise E1 Totter was able to kill it quickly when I placed him in Lava’s position. Thanks for the guide.
I dropped this game 2 years ago after playing for 2-3 month now back and im overwhelmed by content and enemies xD Kyo is saving my sanity, what a genius
My Steward was unleveled so I took Ceobe instead. Luckily enough Ceobe's S2 prioritizes enemies with the highest defense as well, so I was fortunately able to kill this drone fast enough once the skill was available. Whew.
To anyone that has trouble with Steward / Amiya (Underleveld) do practice run replacing Lava for Shirayuki since her S2 deal art damage giving enough time to kill the drone
so that's why i kept failing here, the sniper has to face up because one of the goddamn drones decide to goes straight to blue zone instead of zigzaging
Arene in this stage is pretty good. Btw staward can be replaced by Gintano and and another caster. Use the st caster to kill that first drone. Arene to kill the second, and Gintano s2 to the third one. You just need to put her on the advanced ranged grid. You will miss a healer, but a healing defender can replace one of that.
Wow had to use 4 snipers to clear the drones. Didnt think of using Steward. Thanks for the guide! Your walkthroughs always help me when I am stuck but I am trying not to refer too much...
An E2 Angelina with level 7 M1 skill 3 (lower probably fine) can also be put on the top facing towards the right drone (where Steward is) and can kill both top drones by herself with two uses of her S3 (you can kill both well before the 50 kill mark) as well as erase all the top enemies if you keep her there the whole run to charge skills. Max level E1 Frostleaf can't kill the bottom drone in time so you'll need Lappland or Silverash for the bottom drone (which I took from support units). Thought I'd mention it because I haven't seen anybody talk about Ange in comments.
KyoStinV: Makes up a stretegy that is compatible with new players, and advanced use of various operators simultaneously. Me: Eyjafjalla S3 Texas the Omertosa S3 Surtr S3 Angelina S3
I used chen-liskarm-warfarin combo on the bottom lane to max sp charge chen's s2, it worked XD Much faster than midnight in this video too 25 sp fully charged in like 10-17 seconds
Wanted to setup a team with low trust operators so: used two vanguards on right, medic defender and ranged guard on top, deployed ST caster on top first (due to endless mobs) to kill drone and possibly deploy a ST sniper in middle to help to kill the drone (before the mob drones come in). Strong ST sniper might work too. Used ST sniper for bottom drone and ranged guard + defender for bottom. Otherwise ST caster and defender should work too, just move defender up. Plus medic for heals.
Thank you for the beginning, the slugs always get past (I tried without Chen s3m3 because i thought there had to be a way to do this without ch'en, even then ur strat required less timing)
If your Midnight or Steward are unleveled, around e1 ~lvl40 for both is enough. You won't kill the 3rd drone in time with Midnight's skill, but it will die eventually.
Me: man im doing pretty good so far, after a year of not playing I beat 5-6 without Kyostin's help! Can't believe past me was having trouble with that, I'm gonna steamroll through this chapte- Frost drone:
Phew. Didn't have high level enough Steward, but I have Platinum S2. Replaced AOE caster's position with Platinum and once her skill kicked in, she was not affected by the slow effect and could reach and kill the frost drone with ease (especially since her trait and S2 buff her damage enough to overcome the drone's high def). I put AOE Caster where Steward would have been on top. Shirayuki might be able to do the same and her S2 does Arts damage...but I don't think she targets aerial targets first.
Hi! I've watched your guides ever since I've had trouble with the game and I always get through bc of you! Little request tho.. Can u do versions with 6star ops or let us know in the vid which 6star ops we can use instead of the low rarity ones? Thanks a bunch man! U da best
I leveled up Steward only to level 25 but it still work and the drone defeated, but the difference is the last drone died at around 70 enemies instead died at 65 enemies with lvl 25 Steward. Thanks!
I don't think steward is obligatory. Did not have steward or midnight or any ranged arts guard haha. I used an e2 s3 angelina lv 30 pointing down in the top where steward goes (and eventually gavial) to kill two drones. Every thing else was e1 50 ish. I used shirayuki to kill the bottom drone and frostleaf as a ranged guard to help with the other non frost drones. Just remember the concept of using some sort of arts damage to kill off the frost drones. Here's some stuff others have said works: 1) I did alright with Amiya, shes E1 level 70 tho 2) For ppls that has Ifrit, just deploy her on the bottom right side (on the drone position) and face her on the top, so she will be able to kill 2 drones really easy. 3) Silverash: true silver slash -drone dies
Unleveled Steward, tried Glaucus but her talent is a lie, she doesn't prioritize drones ._. Also my units are mostly in the 10-30 of Elite1 and that makes a huge difference. I'm planning to pause story until I leveled my guys enough, but I wanted to clear the side missions about the ambience of the dormitory so I can downgrade them after getting the mission done and upgrade my office and training room instead (this so I don't have to demolish stuff to temporarily have 3 power plants), but I have to clear a bunch of ch.5 and ch.4 challenge to unlock new missions (I hope I don't have to go all the way to 6-2 but one of the other mission unlocks the last 2 ambience missions...), after that goodbye story and I get to E1Max my teams as well as getting at least one E2 so I can borrow E2 supports :D In the end 3 starred barely, used W support and put her in Lava's spot and put Lava on the spot 2 tiles on the right so she could hit the drone with her AoE, also put Spot as defender and swapped positions between vanguard and defender: this way Spot can heal all allies around and I don't have to remove DPS for the medic. Also I have to deploy the defender first otherwise the slugs pass through my vanguard at battle start (and I even had to not use Texas but Fang because Texas->Vigna->Zima->Defender is unsustainable and fails the run, while Fang->Vigna->Defender->Zima works) D: In the bottom instead of Guard+Defender I put double ranged guard (Silverash in front since he's leveled and he tanks, Arene behind so he almost never blocks and thus prioritizes the drones) facing right to kill the drone slowly and to kill approaching enemies. No final Jessica in the bottom I actually had troubles in the top with two of the drones escaping. Basically I wait until all drones go behind Lava then I replace her for Amiya (not a sniper bc despite getting constantly hit by Lava and also 2 W's bombs the beefy drone still wasn't dead yet and in the very end it starts moving towards the blue cube, so I needed Arts damage) facing left and they do the deed. Also Spot dies there too, so I sacrifice all my retired vanguards to stop the axe guys enough for them to be killed by AoE sniper (Support W) + ST sniper (Blue Poison) + Amiya

Arene to kill the second, and Gintano s2 to the third one. You just need to put her on the advanced ranged grid. You will miss a healer, but a healing defender can replace one of that.
if you have ethan (which can be bought for certificates in store) he works amazingly against the starting slugs
Wow had to use 4 snipers to clear the drones. Didnt think of using Steward.
Thanks for the guide! Your walkthroughs always help me when I am stuck but I am trying not to refer too much...
my squad was under leveled but still cleared it - strategy always wins!
I level stewart from lvl1 to low e1 just for this. totally worth, can't wait to find some new uses for him too
my underleveled steward was who pulled my 6 star ops through. steward is the true hero of this video
ur actually insane dude
i tried so hard at this stage xD
Oh so that's how you're supposed to handle the first wave. I dropped in Ethan and Vigna to deal with that.
on top of applying silver ash for the second drone, apply W instead of lava to get the third faster
What so you dont need an E2 to finish this stage xD awesome! You are the real dokutah here
You can also use a support to kill top and left drones at the same time, as they can hit both.
KyoStinV: Makes up a stretegy that is compatible with new players, and advanced use of various operators simultaneously.
Me: Eyjafjalla S3 Texas the Omertosa S3 Surtr S3 Angelina S3
"Steward is obligatory."
Me: Uses Amiya and leaks 1
Me: WHY!?>
I used chen-liskarm-warfarin combo on the bottom lane to max sp charge chen's s2, it worked XD
Much faster than midnight in this video too
25 sp fully charged in like 10-17 seconds
i dont normally use guides but i need to clear S5-9 so i can E2 kal'tsit... im resorting to whatever means to do that and this video helped alot
Okay that start was smart, I just spammed vanguards in a line lol
If your Midnight or Steward are unleveled, around e1 ~lvl40 for both is enough. You won't kill the 3rd drone in time with Midnight's skill, but it will die eventually.
Прекрасно! Спасибо большое, господин KyoStinV
^^
"All of you have Steward"
*looks at my level 1 Steward*
Ceobe is huge upgrade if you have her to replace Steward
If you *have* her....
Thanks for the tutorial this map was difficult for me
Me: man im doing pretty good so far, after a year of not playing I beat 5-6 without Kyostin's help! Can't believe past me was having trouble with that, I'm gonna steamroll through this chapte-
Frost drone:
U da best
i would be doomed without these vids
Thx for the 3* guide!
the problem with these kind of video is that it s impossible to do the same with stronger operator, we need to use other strat
Thank god my E1 Lv1 Steward was enough to pack a punch.
Here's some stuff others have said works:
1) I did alright with Amiya, shes E1 level 70 tho
2) For ppls that has Ifrit, just deploy her on the bottom right side (on the drone position) and face her on the top, so she will be able to kill 2 drones really easy.
3) Silverash: true silver slash
-drone dies
Steward being a requirement is NO JOKE
Sooo many runs I tried, no matter who I used instead, one drone ALWAYS slipped by orz
i really hated this one, thanks to this guide i manage to cheese it with ejya and ifrit
You can replace AoE caster top there with Eyja E2 skill for easier lane life there, when those 2 red madman with axe came closer, cast her skill
Unleveled Steward, tried Glaucus but her talent is a lie, she doesn't prioritize drones ._.
Also my units are mostly in the 10-30 of Elite1 and that makes a huge difference.
I'm planning to pause story until I leveled my guys enough, but I wanted to clear the side missions about the ambience of the dormitory so I can downgrade them after getting the mission done and upgrade my office and training room instead (this so I don't have to demolish stuff to temporarily have 3 power plants), but I have to clear a bunch of ch.5 and ch.4 challenge to unlock new missions (I hope I don't have to go all the way to 6-2 but one of the other mission unlocks the last 2 ambience missions...), after that goodbye story and I get to E1Max my teams as well as getting at least one E2 so I can borrow E2 supports :D
In the end 3 starred barely, used W support and put her in Lava's spot and put Lava on the spot 2 tiles on the right so she could hit the drone with her AoE, also put Spot as defender and swapped positions between vanguard and defender: this way Spot can heal all allies around and I don't have to remove DPS for the medic. Also I have to deploy the defender first otherwise the slugs pass through my vanguard at battle start (and I even had to not use Texas but Fang because Texas->Vigna->Zima->Defender is unsustainable and fails the run, while Fang->Vigna->Defender->Zima works) D:
In the bottom instead of Guard+Defender I put double ranged guard (Silverash in front since he's leveled and he tanks, Arene behind so he almost never blocks and thus prioritizes the drones) facing right to kill the drone slowly and to kill approaching enemies.
Thank you very much for this 🤣, i dont have the same line up, i use seige grani hoshiguma and lapland but e1 lvl 40 below.... Guess imma try
